1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was fooled by Ether Classic on: November 28, 2020, 10:24:22 AM
I hope you buy altcoins after selling your mining rigs? That's what will make your every move senseful, if you've sold the rigs before altcoins start pumping few days back you must have make some good profits already, probably enough to get you back your mining rigs and enough to still invest? I need your feedback on this @Phoenix_PROG
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Been cheated again on: November 28, 2020, 10:20:27 AM

SCAM

Bounty hunters got cheated again, actually is this ever going to stop? Do you guys remember OLPORTAL? Bounty hunters are asked to drop ETH address to get tokens and they end up forcing bounty hunters to go and download OLCF wallet and import recovery seed to receive tokens, how did they cheat? Their shit OLCF wallet only accepts Recovery seed only, leaving out those with private keys, you can only import if you are using mycelium or others like it but for those using multi wallet like Coinomi we are out of luck, the team just ignore others like that.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: November 27, 2020, 01:56:49 PM
Through out the year I only noticed balancer and uniswap as the most performing DEXs and now that the year is almost over their performance are going lower too simply because of many fake DeFi projects that dumps significantly or even exit scam, Uniswap had a very huge volume while DeFi hype was still alive weeks ago but now things have changed, it just looks like DEX success always have low life span
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How true is this? on: November 27, 2020, 01:52:09 PM
I don't know about other IEO platforms but I'm certain about binance exchange launchpads, with altcoin season or not every project that use binance for IEO fundraising will do 2x atleast, ICO is different from IEO and it's clear that IEO don't have same hype like ICO had in 2017 so I don't think that IEOs will pump because of any altcoin season
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 26, 2020, 12:22:15 PM
It's left for jr member managers to put in more effort and confuse the community with high quality projects then the community will start supporting them, actions first praise later, the mistake that most newbies and Jr members are doing when managing projects is getting blind by the payment they will receive as a bounty manager
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exodus wallet. on: November 26, 2020, 12:19:32 PM
I've not used exodus wallet before but I've heard good things about the wallet, my advice is to do your own research, you can search google for app reviews and hear different comments from users, the most popular crypto wallet today are trust wallet, atomic wallet and coinomi wallet, there are still many others just do some research
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Monero? on: November 25, 2020, 11:24:31 AM
Interesting timing for the more and more "persuasive" news about Monero's death.
You know that in a couple of days Monero's emission will drop under Bitcoin's? And since crypto winter has ended, I'd say that somebody wants to grab cheap coins while they stay cheap.

I think that Monero tracking may be done only in very few specific situations (laboratory specific tests), and those situations don't happen much (or at all) "in the wild", but a company needs advertising, isn't it?

The volume of Monero still keeps staying strong. I think someone is trying to accumulate more before it explodes. The sudden spike in volume on September 10 (40x) is also really suspicious, how is this explainable?
Monero is a top altcoin so it should be driven by the current bitcoin Bullrun just like XRP, ETH and BCH, they all revaluates once bullrun starts, I'm not surprised that Monero is over 100$ already, this is just the beginning, if Bitcoin goes over 20k this time all top altcoins, privacy or not will pump big time, let homeland security keeps their toy called tool for tracking Monero, it's a big white lie
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Monero? on: November 25, 2020, 11:21:28 AM
If you guys remember, one of the major bitcoin mixer - bitmixer was closed in 2017 and the owner stated that after deep investigation, he could confirm that the most anonymous coin for transactions was - Monero. We all also know that this altcoins is known for it's anonimity.

But right now, as it seems, crypto analytics firm - CipherTrace announced that they are capable of tracing monero transactions (stolen money, illegal transactions, etc) and they already have filed two patents. They made this tool as a part of the project with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and they have been working on this since 2019.

What do you guys think about it? According to the structure of monero transactions (rings...) will they really be able to trace it? Or just another hype?
As you can see Monero team aren't even saying anything about this because it's not real, homeland security my foot, if they have this so called tool they won't dare utter a word about it, lol this is so laughable, good move U.S department of homeland security, welcome to crypto world
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins are complete shitcoins this time around on: November 25, 2020, 11:18:27 AM
We really can't tell yet until it happens but this year bullrun is based on real use cases of crypto, bitcoin did a very good job in the pandemic period showing the world how it can be a real store of value when stock market was crashing hard, this is what drives crypto bullrun this year, put aside btc halving, bitcoin Bullrun of 2017 was drive by hype only so there is a chance that shitcoins will be left out.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing my $2000 to altcoins instead of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 10:46:49 AM
Guys, if you have $2k today, where do you put it? Which altcoins? Seems altcoins already rallied high and i dont want to be caught at the high.
It seems you have low knowledge about crypto market and charts, I will like to share few fact with you, bitcoin is still very bullish and there is still time to get in right now, altcoins are already getting prepared so you can split your money and invest in both bitcoin and altcoins but mind you top altcoins are more better and safer, you will make good ROI going for top altcoins
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can one make effective use of the Excrow? on: November 24, 2020, 10:43:58 AM
Excrow are defined as a third party that guarantees safe exchange of goods and services between other agreed parties under description.

Of late excrows are considered as the secured guarantee for safe payment of bounty rewards to bounty Manger and then bounty hunters.

But then a couple of this projects think they are so smart that even a night before an IEO, they do change the smart contracts of their tokens rendering whichever token in excrow worthless.

So i suggest that excrows should not only hold the tokens but also be given usdt value of the tokens as well, so that incase it turns out in the wrong direction the usdt can cater for it..

Your suggestions?
I agree with the escrow part but getting paid in USDT? No I don't want that because tokens are more valuable than USDT unless you promote a crap project that have no good utility which will never attract good investors or raise enough money for development, we all have different skills of doing research, I believe in my own skill, USDT is not for me
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 23, 2020, 08:53:06 AM
Why would IEO need to return when it isn't gone yet? 90% of new projects since 2018 used IEO crowdfunding, this year alone many projects used binance IEO launchpad to raise funds and no single one failed, take it or leave it IEO beats ICO marginally, I missed the ICO success of 2017 but that's gone already and its never coming back, few new projects still use ICO because they have the full confidence of raising funds due to the quality of their projects
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 08:40:46 AM
I guess the reason why you used the word 'small' is to define projects that aren't that good enough, correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that if a new project has what it takes to be more attractive to the public it will never remain a small project even if it starts as a small project, the real use case of new projects matters alot, this is what takes projects to next level

There are many projects that starts from small exchanges like even the worse Latoken and p2pb2b exchange and later they leveled up to better exchanges like bithumb and few others..

To developers

Let the content of your projects be the definer of your project
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying Ripple for the XRP Spark token drop? on: November 23, 2020, 08:34:09 AM
Yes it's worth buying XRP right now for two good reasons

1. You get to free Spark tokens for free depending on how many XRP you holding and Spark token is free money 🤑

2. XRP bullrun is just getting started, I've heard about some financial institutions investing on XRP right now and even if that's not genuine XRP have shown stronger bullish movement since days ago
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 22, 2020, 11:08:11 AM
The market is now harder to predict because we can't tell if Bitcoin will keep pumping or not, the best time to invest in crypto is red market for sure because you will be buying at cheaper price but now I'm not so sure what will happen, just know that you are at your own risk investing in Bitcoin right now, I've already filled my bags before the bull takes over. I think it's best to consider top altcoins instead since they are still gearing up for altcoin season
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi protocol Pickle Finance hacked for $20,000,000 on: November 22, 2020, 11:04:26 AM
This hacks on DeFi projects will at least make many finally understand that decentralized isn't safe either cos many believe that DeFi projects are safer, what's the different between these decentralized projects and centralized projects? Decentralized should be safer and stronger but instead they are getting hacked easily, this is a big slap to all decentralized platforms as they can't even backed their own words.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 21, 2020, 11:04:22 AM
I disagree with this point OP, we need both DEX and CEX exchanges in crypto space, they both have their advantages and disadvantages and it's left for users to choose which one they like using, the word 'decentralized' is like a hoax to me because I believe that anything that's created by humans can be tampered with, DEX can't be 100% trusted as well
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 10:57:36 AM
You need high quality altcoins to get the most out of this bull season, some made good profits from shitcoins with very low volumes in 2017 but im not sure that history will repeat itself again, im thinking that only useful altcoins will ride along with bitcoin in this bull season and many bad altcoins will be abandoned
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 10:12:04 AM
Ethereum can't keep up with bitcoin because that's not how altcoins gain from Bitcoin bullish movement, it's never instant movement as it takes time for altcoins to start surging, right now it's bitcoin time to shine not altcoins
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 10:06:18 AM
If Ethereum is a new altcoin it's possible that people will abandon the platform for another but we are talking about the second best cryptocurrency in the entire crypto space, how will the project die because of surging gas fee? This is so pointless
