781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: December 27, 2019, 10:44:14 AM
@Sprucemoose78

All transactions you did add to your account before your subscription switched back into FREE are still in your there, but you cannot add new transactions and you cannot use the other PRO features like add API jobs. And creating a tax report is one of those features as well. A gain calculation with more than 100 trade transactions in total (not per year) is not possible.
You can upgrade your account any time you wish if you need those PRO features. The only thing you need to perform afterwards is described here: https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000027952?lang=en
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: December 26, 2019, 05:56:27 PM
@Sprucemoose78
If you have more then 200 transactions in your account you would need a PRO subscription to use all the features e.g. adding more transactions and create a tax report. You can check and compare the available license models here: https://cointracking.info/pro.php
If you wish you could send us a support ticket or an E-Mail to support@cointracking.com with your CoinTracking username (login) to check your account in addition.

785  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: CoinTracking - Gewinn/Verlust Portfolio und Steuer Reporting für digitale Coins on: December 20, 2019, 04:59:28 PM
@Travetown

@PyeHzqOd
Of course we will adjust this.
Would you be so kind and send us a support ticket or an E-Mail to support@cointracking.com with your CoinTracking username (login) to take your account as an example case. Thank you in advance.
788  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: CoinTracking - Gewinn/Verlust Portfolio und Steuer Reporting für digitale Coins on: December 14, 2019, 08:39:03 AM
@ulrich909.

@ForRex
Bitte gern.
@ForRex

https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000018461?lang=de
https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000031012?lang=de

Vielen Dank vorab.

@boomboom

Thank you for this explanation and recommendation. We have this now on our list for improvements. And thank you for your patience here.
Setting a manual price from your price source is the option you have.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: December 01, 2019, 09:22:21 AM
Thank you for your clarification and explanation here. I did assume you have an "official" OTC price source somewhere.

Yes at the moment there is no way to flag a coin as "dead" so the last price we get from our price source is the "current" one.
We take this example as an valuable feedback and are searching for a solution within CoinTracking. Once in place we announce it on our "new features" page.

If you are not happy with the price of our price sources - wo do rely on them and it is needed for price history to keep them within CoinTracking - you can set a custom price. We are no tax advisors but if a coin is traded nowhere it might have no price meaning no value and you could set the price to zero if you own some as outlined in my last reply. Or you could set your OTC prices if you have some.

793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 30, 2019, 08:00:06 PM
@boomboom.
You are welcome.

Most coins are delisted e.g. due to 51% hack or chain defective from our data sources but are still out there.
Does the community know if there is a data source where you can check if the coins are really "dead"? Thank you in advance.

Where do you see the USD or AUD prices for Qora?

You can enter a price you like while uncheck the "Best price" slider here for a coin: https://cointracking.info/summary.php?prices=custom

@ggeorgiev.
Thank you for raising this topic. We will correct that as soon as possible so that the Digital Insurance Token is available in CoinTracking as well, most probably as DIT2 as the ticker DIT is already assigned to Ditcoin.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 28, 2019, 09:34:45 AM
@boomboom.
Our price source is coinmarketcap and worldcoinindex. As soon as coins are or have been listed there you can find them within CoinTracking e.g. on the Coin Trends page (https://cointracking.info/coin_trends.php). There you see currently no MarketCap. And it is not listed any more on CMC or WCI so in CoinTracking it is the last price we get from our price sources to have a price history for past transactions.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 18, 2019, 11:34:33 AM
@maxvan1

In general you should enter ALL your wallets and ALL your transactions. The more accurate is the result in your account. And of course the Kraken transactions would gave your portfolio a more complete picture.
KuCoin could be imported via API, Coinbase as well with no API limitations by the exchange.
TradeOgre we do support via CSV.

Those FAQ articles are helpful to mitigate negative coin balances - in most cases transactions - either trades, deposits or withdrawals are missing:
https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000018817?lang=en
https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000006990?lang=en
The reason for possible negative balances is that CoinTracking calculates the balances out of the transactions happened and of course imported.

If it does not help I suggest to check your account individually. Please send us a support ticket or an E-Mail to support@cointracking.com with your CoinTracking username (login).
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 16, 2019, 06:25:09 AM
You can find them in section "Optional settings and filters:" of your current ETH API job while Editing it and there is written "start date (optional)" in a blank field.
This FAQ article might be helfpul here as well: https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000031154-create-and-delete-api-import-job
(even if the example pictures there are about Exchange API jobs)
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 16, 2019, 06:04:54 AM
One option is to set the values to zero, but deleting transactions the API will reimport those deleted ones again by design.
If you are fighting against reimporting data, you could set today as a start date within your API job and no previous transactions - even the deleted ones - are imported.
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: November 06, 2019, 10:04:30 AM
You are welcome @boomboom.

@excelerator Thank you for providing the updates in your ticket.
The only limit there is a technical one which is mentioned on the LTC API page as well and which allows you to import 1000 transaction per day via Auto Import job, but initionally up to 50000 transactions.
Due to your case and your support we could fix an issue there. And for applying fixes it is sometimes needed to re-create all API Jobs. Thank you very much for your help here.

It is a CoinTracking related thread in this forum.

We have no issues with our ETH importer API.

Deleting the API Job and create it again would be the first step to check. If it does not help  I suggest to check your account individually checking your ETH API job address. Please send us a support ticket or an E-Mail to support@cointracking.com with your CoinTracking username (login).
