1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: September 14, 2023, 09:28:26 PM
This channel dip feels like 15-16k at the end of last year. Am buying deep into it atm
Buying at a price that is too deep will not always be good because you will not get what you want to buy. If you hunt for Bitcoin at that price this year I think it will be difficult for you to get it, but if you don't really mind buying Bitcoin at the $25K level and holding it while waiting for a higher price, I think that's quite logical and very possible for you to do now.

So don't waste your time waiting for a lower price if you have the ability to buy at the current price, because in my opinion the current price of Bitcoin is not that expensive and maybe the opportunity to buy at the current price will not come twice this year, Moreover, next year the price of Bitcoin is predicted to experience a much better increase than this year.

I think you are not understanding what I posted. At no point did I say I was waiting for a lower price. I was saying that this dip feels like the same buying opportunity that presented itself to us in the 15-16k dip. I’m allocating more buying $ at this level on top of any dca I’m doing.

Well I quite understand what you are saying my friend, basically every market participant has his own way to invest wherever it is. Okay maybe you are one of those who are always patiently waiting for significant bearish conditions to then open an investment, and well that is indeed quite good if you can patiently wait for the moment. Honestly, I'm not saying that's the case, and maybe most market participants will do the same thing, especially for long-term targets.

And yes I agree with the opportunity you said, because indeed now is the right moment to then buy or collect more bitcoin, we can see now bitcoin is experiencing a price correction and the price is now almost touching support a few months ago. So basically if indeed you have the ability financially to then allocate a little of your money for bitcoin then I would say this is the right moment that you can take, but well I hope you will use money that might not be at risk if it is lost, because as we know the market is very volatile so at any time you can experience losses if the market is not in your favor. You use DCA, I agree to this because I think this is a strategy that is more supportive of your financial condition and with DCA it is safer.

2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bans on crypto now looks like a joke on: April 27, 2023, 03:40:16 AM
Ban on crypto is a joke. The truth remains that the world, or government can't do anything about bitcoin.
The worse they can do is go after institutions promoting bitcoin and cause them to fall so that they may have reasons to paint bitcoin in a negative light. They went after miners, the miners left the country, it is over them now and they should be more accommodating of bitcoin because it is the future.
Yes, I remember last time our country's government agency promotes anti crypto. They are being broadcast in all networks telling that crypto can only harm you and make your assets in danger so do not invest. Funny that they spend a lot for ads but people doesn't believe in them, some other people yes but mostly they are not. Governments should promote anti hyip, scam policy instead of those non sense news.
So true.  The government only makes statements but the control is driven by the people themselves.  Moreover, the use of crypto is rampant in all corners of the world, the government can only bluff but cannot stop its movement.

I want to buy Nano Ledger X from the official site but I am in the region of Asia (indonesia) where Bitpay is not allowed then how can I buy this hardware wallet with bitcoins?

I don't like any other payment options except bitcoin.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 27, 2023, 03:15:59 PM
congratulations to you and thank you for motivating us to keep working hard.  From what you tell me, I can get the message that effort will not betray results, keep fighting until you can enjoy the results that you have accumulated.  I imagine how many people have succeeded and changed their lives.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 27, 2023, 07:03:17 AM
as we can see that lately the price of bitcoin has begun to show a rapid increase that means there is a possibility that the price can soar again, but it will take a lot of time to reach the price you expect.  Maybe you have to wait some time for the price to be satisfactory for sale.
The satisfactory price is the price when it is sold it can get a large amount of profit and it doesn't have to be at the current price. Because there were also traders selling Bitcoin at $28K, and he dared to do that because he had bought it at $17K when the decline occurred in Bitcoin. So a satisfactory price is a price that makes someone more profitable because when someone has made a profit, he is definitely more satisfied when he sells it.
it's true what you said that satisfaction can be seen from the profits you get but what the OP is afraid of when he sells now that the price of bitcoin continues to increase until it crosses the $ 50,000 mark will cause regret.

although not involved in the competition but I really look forward to the winner.  Judging from the photos they sent I'm sure it will make it difficult to say the winner because everything is beautiful and looks good.  good luck to the participants.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: March 26, 2023, 09:26:26 AM
there is little possibility for the price of bitcoin to fall to $ 10 considering that there are so many enthusiasts of bitcoin. With a limited amount, it will never happen.  The influence of bitcoin is very large on other coins because most altcoin prices are based on bitcoin.  It is unimaginable how many companies will go bankrupt if this happens.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: March 26, 2023, 09:13:18 AM
Can Ethereum surge past Bitcoin in this upcoming Bull Market?
It seems difficult to go beyond bitcoin prices because all altcoin prices are based on bitcoin prices.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: March 23, 2023, 04:29:52 PM
Of the many projects they offer, only a few pay, the rest are useless.  but many of the prizes that we think are scams turn out to be valuable in the future, it depends on the company and the quality of the prizes they provide.  So actually the bounty is more towards a giveaway so that we are interested and know where the company is holding the campaign.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too late to start? on: March 16, 2023, 02:36:29 PM
if I could turn back time I would have wanted to learn crypto a long time ago.  It's a little late to start now but better than nothing, it takes enough time to be able to understand the concept of this crypto market which is learned and applied in transactions.  So for friends who want to start from scratch, never be afraid because it's never too late while you still can.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: March 11, 2023, 02:22:52 AM
Well, I have to clarify that personally I have never had any loan or debt in my life so this thread has nothing to do with my experience but intends to find out how people in loan/debt deal with the problem. Let's say you take loans from a bank and sometimes for whatever reason, you can not pay the debt on time, then you borrow money from other channels. Sure this works for a certain period but later bad things may happen, you have to postpone the payment and struggle with finances again. Isn't this a vicious circle ? How would you deal with the problem ? I am all ears.

I definitely agree that this is indeed, a vicious cycle.

to be honest I do not justify someone to be in debt but everyone's circumstances are different. do you know the proverb dig a hole close a hole, now the picture is like you owe it to the bank but can't pay it and look for another platform to pay it so that the money we have runs out to pay the interest on the loan.
when you are going into debt, you should think carefully, there must be potential money to be paid so that the cycle does not spread.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: March 10, 2023, 02:49:58 AM

Money drives away every feelings that makes life better. Money is truly powerful
money is the biggest influence in life, all need money to eat, buy clothes, vehicles, etc.  The suicide rate is dominated because of financial depression, every problem can be solved with money because money can change everything.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is not trash on: February 27, 2023, 02:01:50 AM

Some people will say that Fiat is trash and they keep all their money in stable coins, the truth of this is you are doing things wrong, the stable coins in crypto space are backed by nothing, they can vanish into thin air if the government doesn't want stable coins to exists.

Fiat is not junk money, but everyone knows that saving in cash is not profitable because of inflationary pressures that can cause fiat values to decline. In addition, in some countries such as Zimbabwe and Venezuela, cash is so worthless that it is a sign that fiat is valuable in the right country in the sense that the exchange rate is high.
crypto is a storage that is being enjoyed by many people, besides being profitable, transactions are also easy and fast so that many people switch to the world of crypto but the theft rate is very easy in the digital world, prices are less stable, and the value of money is difficult to predict. Regardless of which one is more reliable, it's back to yourself, but everything has benefits and uses.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Is There a Lesson for Economies and Entrepreneurs to Learn from Bankruptcy? on: February 25, 2023, 05:11:48 AM
Bankruptcy started right after the second worst wave during the covid when whole world stood still and Governments were not understanding on what to do about it?

Imagine whole supply chain from multi-national routes, whether sea or air were stopped and billions of dollars worth transactions suddenly went to zero. This was definitely a seeding activity for the economic crash and start of inflation during that point.

Covid is a huge influence on the world of the economy which all turn off when infected with Covid everyone is isolated at home while the needs continue to increase. But maybe the company is unable to maintain it because the company's management is poor or uncontrollable outbody so that there is no income to the company. And there are many new breakthroughs and better innovations than other companies so that the bankrupt company intensively declined.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: February 25, 2023, 04:45:44 AM
Tips for saving food expenses
1. Buy raw materials as needed
2. Cooking yourself, because if you buy outside it will be more expensive
3. Collect coupons or vouchers
4. Find a food shop that is low

Besides having to choose the needs that must be purchased, you can also look for large discounts and promo prices. In my country discounts or promos are held only when there is a big event and weekend while weekday prices return to normal, therefore you should buy food ingredients for weekly to be more efficient. Whether it's happening in my country or in your country too?
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Rules of Taxes on: February 24, 2023, 04:30:47 PM

In my country there are 3 types of taxes including:
1. self-assessment
namely self-regulated taxation and reporting it to the tax office in the sense that he calculates, pays and reports it himself, the tax authorities only supervise it. Usually this is done by companies or restaurants and crowded places.
2. Official Assessment System
namely the tax party that determines how much to pay, usually this tax collection is for building houses and vehicles which have been determined by the government.
3. Withholding System
namely taxes that are taken care of by a third person, usually this is for income tax which is automatically deducted when we receive a salary so we don't need to take care of it because it has been done by this third person.

For the third tax, this is usually only for people who have a fixed income, while those who work odd jobs are far from tax collection. But with the change in the system, everyone who has an identity card has been registered in the taxation sector, this applies to those who are already working or unemployed.

I mean this tax regulation seems uneven and it seems that people who have to pay taxes are people who deal with large amounts of money. Let's say a farmer in 1 harvest (3-4 month) earns $2000, he will remain tax free if not registered or he doesn't register it whereas an employee from the start is already registered with the taxpayer even though their monthly salary is $300. What do you think? I'm a little confused with this tax rule.
it is indeed unfair for the people who have little income especially since the farmers do not harvest it every day. Therefore, there should be rules on how many producers have to pay taxes so that it is not burdensome for small farmers.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: February 22, 2023, 09:03:19 AM
It is true that financial management is very important, suppressing lifestyle to reduce exploding expenses, focusing on the basic costs that we really need. Everyone should have a savings where these funds can be used when there is an emergency, but if we spend it just for a moment's pleasure it doesn't feel necessary to do it especially just to buy an expensive drink at a famous restaurant it will only be a waste of the money we collect, right? means not allowed but more to where the needs that must be prioritized. Avoiding financial problems is one way to relieve stress and reduce the burden of life.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Precisely or erroneous on: February 22, 2023, 08:41:00 AM
people are tempted by the sweetness of investments that can be profitable without knowing the losses they can receive.  But there's really nothing wrong with setting aside some money to invest in bitcoin because, as many people know, bitcoin is very profitable and hunted by many people even though the price is dropping.  So think carefully about the actions you are taking now so you don't regret it in the future.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 22, 2023, 07:33:38 AM
Many governments are moving to push hard to reduce sales of diesel and petrol cars, the European Parliament has officially approved a law banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the EU from 2035
The effects of emission from petrol and diesel powered is becoming more of a concern as it contributes to global warming. It makes sense that there is an intentional move to slow down global warming by reducing the sales of petrol and diesel powered automobiles and replacing them with electrical vehicles. Tesla and some other automobile companies have already proven that it is possible, so in the coming years, we will see more automobile companies move into the production and sales of electrically powered vehicles, which will then replace Petrol and diesel and make them old-fashion.
this is likely to happen in 2035 where sales of gasoline and diesel will be scarce, this is evidenced by the many car companies that modify gasoline into electricity.  People have even felt the scarcity of oil from now on, in addition to reducing pollution on earth, electric cars are a community solution to protect the environment and natural resources so they don't become extinct. As we know, oil, diesel and gasoline are non-renewable resources.  .
