Do not scan QR code you find online, only scan when paying to another crypto wallet or you want to sell your BTC on an exchange, QR codes can come with malicious things too.
As for the software update from the companies, pray that nothing bad comes up from their side, I still strongly believe that they are the only thing that can easily messed up hardware wallet security.
Any time possible to phishing or malicious attacks on any wallet on your using device, I see many people face the problem. 1. download the app. 2. create the wallet. 3. save your wallet address. 4. save private key/seed. (on your dairy or print it.)5. possible to convert QR on key/seed. (then print)6. When you run out of needs. Then uninstall the wallet app. *In this case, even if your device is damaged/phishing/malicious attacks, your money will remain intact. These are my personal opinions, I have read some such blogs and watched some videos, which now I can't remember properly. |

This is the heart-touching for forum member Light_warrior no more, Rest in peace Light_warrior. sometime I follow the post Light_warrior history but when I see this thread, From now on we may never see his post again, this is nothing but bad news for us. We may not live together for the rest of our lives but it will be very sad to me that we have lost a forum member.
RIP Light_warrior. My condolences to his family.

OK I'm gonna try to give you some helpful advice: stop posting what you think other people want to hear. Post your own, original thoughts. It helps if you can contribute something useful or original to the forum in general... in other threads (not this one). Maybe you look at other posters who have learned how to get merits here by saying the right things and you're trying to be like them -- don't. Its annoying and I will never merit them.
One time I gave 20+ merits here to an account I thought was here out of their own general interest... they joined a signature campaign within a week, and later it turned out to be the 5th alt account of a banned user (they got their ban removed and are still posting here under at least 2 other accounts, but that's not the point).
Since then, I almost never spend merits on any account less than a Hero in here. If it seems like they are just posting here to get merits, forget it, I will never help them anywhere.
I do not only want merit I want from advise more people. I will try to implement your advice properly. 3300 posts under 200 merits is impressive if in the negative sense. I am going to walk on the beach on the jersey shore. Its a nice day. I will read some of his posts and maybe. he has a few good ones. Some times I may read two shit posts from a low count guy and then decide to never merit them. So I will read up on him. his third post made in 2019 was okay https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5162520.msg51734686#msg51734686I read three posts from the earliest posts he did. I gave him 2 merits. I suggest reading his oldest posts first. I am wondering if he feels slighted and I can detect what happened to him. I will read more. I will try more productive posts. I remember I think he is naim027. I remember his story how he got perban first, then unban, then again ban (with alternative accounts confession). If I am not wrong. I mentioned naim027 for Negotiation. He should go through his story. Suspicion is not always correct, many people know me personally here, but I don't want to mention them. Finally, I can say good mind, careful for health, advise and help others... Thanks all. |

If I were you, I would research more and attempt to provide better quality posts. Sure no problem including your own experiences (at the same time, do not make your posts (or your threads) overly self-indulgent, which I have already seen those kinds of posts/threads from you in the past), but try to provide some substance and posts that are interesting and meaningful to others.. especially about bitcoin-related topics and maybe even read some bitcoin-related content and then post links to your sources, analyze what you had read and relate some of the contents back to some personal experience(s).. or whatever variation that is of interest to you, and maybe others will also find your analysis and your conclusions to be interesting, meaningful and/or helpful.. Perhaps? perhaps?
In the end, you do what you want, but there are ways to improve the quality of your posts.. especially from their currently bad state, and none of us should have to hold your hand in terms of your being able to figure out how to improve your posts.. so part of the reason that members send smerits to other members is because they can either relate to the posts or they get some kind of meaning or value out of what they read... and if you provide a bunch of crappy posts, some members are going to get to know you as someone who provides shitty posts, so they won't even be willing to send you an smerit if you do happen to make a good post now and then..
Yeah, first of all you find my making and corrections me, and advised on how to proceed. You can call it my failure that I could not think like you, because even before that I learned a lot from you. It might change my life even more. |

How did this unemployed person got addicted to gambling in the first place? Cross Addiction can be one therapy. This thread came up yesterday which seems a good alternative to battle addiction which is to divert the addiction to another addictive game. Somehow it could be a solution for a while in order for the addict to divert its attention to somewhere else. He could be battling this addiction soon but at least this will be another topic. PS4 is not so bad though. Somehow addicted to PS4 games is acceptable. I believe that aside from getting professional help for the gambling addict, especially when the addict or their loved ones can not afford the fees of the therapy, I think that the best thing for the addict is to engage in another kind of activity. There are different types of sports and games out there, football, tennis, basketball or games like chess, ps4, as you have suggested, lastly the addict can put his energy into learning new things, like an art or trade. The goal is to occupy his mind with something that will distract him from gambling, and channel his mind to enjoying new things. Since most gambling addicts don't want to acknowledge it as a problem it is also difficult to treat. That is why it is right to prepare yourself to quit gambling by trying to understand the various harmful aspects of gambling addiction. It is never possible to release it if the person does not want it to get rid of gambling addiction the first thing is awareness about it. This awareness should exist in the case of gambling addicts as well as other people in the society. Besides it is very important to know well about gambling addiction support from family and friends of addicts can help their loved ones return to a normal life. |

অল্ট কয়েনে যেরকম ভাবে গেইন হয়, লস হওয়ার সময় সেভাবেই সমান তালে লস হয়। আমিও যে কয়েনগুলো আগে কিনেছিলাম, প্রায় সবগুলোই ১০ গুন ডাউন হয়ে আছে। গতকাল রাতে কয়েনমারকেট ক্যাপ এ লগইন করে পুরাতন পোর্টফোলিও টা দেখলাম, সেখানে এখনকার মার্কেট কন্ডিশন অনুযায়ী আমি অনেক লসে আছি। অবশ্য সেই কয়েনগুলো আমি কম রেটে থাকা অবস্থায় সেল করতে বাধ্য হয়েছিলাম।
আপনার কপাল তো তাও ভালো ভাই আর আমার টা তো আরো খারাপ, জখন আমি মনে মনে প্রেডিক করে রাখি সব ঠিক থাকে বেশির ভাগই, আর যখন ইনভেস্ট করি তখন একেবারে জিরো না হয়ে বের হতে পারিনা   মানে যা নিয়ে মাঠে নামি একদম জিরো করে উঠে আসি। |

মুল কাহিনী বিটকয়েনে লেনদেন ।
বিটকয়েনের কথা কোথায় উল্লেখ আছে ভাই? এইখানে তো বলা আছে ওয়ান এক্স বেট এর সাথে তারা সরাসরি সম্পৃক্ত ছিল। বাংলাদেশে বর্তমানে জুয়ার হার বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে অনেকাংশে। জুয়া খেলা বাংলাদেশে অবৈধ। আমি আর্টিকেল পড়ে কোথাও বিটকয়েনের উল্লেখ পাই নি ভাই। আপনি ঠিকই বলেছেন, মনে হয় এইটা বিটকয়েন লেনদেন জন্য হয় নাই। কিন্তু আবার একটা বিষয়ে আমি যতদুর জানি এখানে নাকী, বিটকয়েন সহ আরও অন্যান্য কিপ্টোকারেন্সি দিয়ে বাজি ধরা যায়। বাংলাদেশী টাকা সহ ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি ডিপোজিট করা যায়। মুল কাহিনি হচ্ছে এইরকম জুয়ার সাইডে দেশের তরুন প্রজন্ম অধিকাংশ জুয়ার আসক্ত হয়ে পরেছে। আমাদের দেশের টাকা বাহিরের দেশে চলে যাচ্ছে। আইপিএল খেলা ও বড় বড় আসর আসলে বাজি ধরা আরও কয়েক গুন বেড়ে যায়। দেখা যায় প্রতি ওভারে বাজি ধরে থাকেন। আমি একজনের গল্প শুনেছিলাম সে মনে হয় ৪০০ টাকা দিয়ে কোন একসাইডে খেলায় বাজি ধরে ৪০০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত বানিয়েছিলো শেষ পর্যন্ত ০ টাকা নিয়ে ফিরে এসেছে। @Negotiation ভাইয়ের লিংকে ঢুকেছিলাম কিন্তু সম্পুর্ন তথ্য দেখতে পেলাম না। ভাই আমার পরিচিত ২জনকে ধরেছে এদের মধ্যে, তাদের বিটকয়েন সহ নিয়ে গেছে, আমি আজকে আপডেট যানানোর চেস্টা করবো...! এখানে বিটকয়েন ও ফোন সহো নিয়ে গেছে কিন্তু চালান দেয়ার সময় বিটকয়েন উল্লেখ করেনি। |

When I think back and the whole journey since I’m a bitcoiner …
Many know my story but when my friend showed me BTC and told me to buy/keep/hodl it.
I knew he would explain me everything a long the way.
But at the very beginning he said you just buy BTC and you hodl it everything in between is noise that you just ignore.
I think that’s the best advice for almost everybody.

ভাই আপনি হয়তো এগুলো পিসিতে ব্যবহার করেন। এক্সটিনশন সাপোর্ট করে এমনে ব্রাউজারে (Kiwi Browser) কি এগুলো ইউজ করা যাবে? আমি কমবেশি সবসময় ফোনেই থাকি।
জি ভাই এটা পিসিতে, মোবাইল নিয়ে আমার আইডিয়া নাই আমি কখোনো ব্যাবহার করিনি, মোবাইলে যদি ব্যাবহার করতেও পারেন তাহলে ফুল অপটিমাইজ করতে পারবেন না কারন এগুলো কম্পিউটার বেজ ডেভোলপ করা। ১. নম্বরটার কাজ নিয়ে একটু কনফিউশন ছিলো। এটা কি জাস্ট একটা পপআপ রিমাইন্ডার দিবে নাকি ব্রাউজার ব্যবহার করা থেকে বিরত রাখবে? মানে কিছু করতে গেলেই নোটিস দিবে, এমন?
এটা মুলত পপআপ আশবে ব্রাউজার এর ক্ষেত্রে, এবং অন্য একটি স্ক্রিন দ্বারা ব্লক হয়ে থাকবে। ৩. কখনো ইউজ করিনি, তবে সরাসরি গুগলে সার্চ করলেই সম্ভবতো কাছাকাছি শব্দ পাওয়া সম্ভব, তাই ব্যবহার করার দরকার দেখিনা।
ভাই এটা যারা অল্প সময়ে অনেক ডেটা একসাথে পেতে চায় তাদের জন্যে কার্যকরি, সবসময় গুওগলে সার্স করে সঠিক রেজাল্ট পাওয়া যায়না, আপনার কাজের পরিধির উপরে নীর্ভর করে কার কোনটা ব্যাবহার করা প্রয়োজন, যেমন আপনি বেশি সময় ফোনে থাকেন আবার অন্য একজন গেমিং পিসিতেও কাভার করতে পারেনা, সে মনে করে তার আরো পাওয়ারফুল কোনো ডিভাইস প্রয়োজন। অফিস থেকে শুরু করে প্রোডাক্টিভ কাজে এটা ব্যাবহার হতে দেখেছি। ৪. গ্রামারলিটা সবথেকে বেশি কাজের। তবে ঐ আবারো কনফিউজড ফোন নিয়ে। আমার একটা জিনিস মনে হয় গ্রামারলি শুধুমাত্র বানান ঠিক করার জন্য ব্যবহার করা উচিত। কিন্তু লেখার স্টাইল চেন্জ না করাই বেটার। এমনো অনেক কেস দেখছি যেখানে নিজে লিখে সেটা গ্রামার চেকার দিয়ে ঠিক করার পর যখন AI কিনা চেক দেই, ৩০-৪০% AI সো করে, যদিও সব কিন্তু নিজেরই লেখা। এজন্য ২-১ টা দাড়ি কমা ভুল থাকলেও রেখে দেই, ইডিট করিনা। তবে বড় পোস্ট করলে কথা ভিন্ন।
ফোন থেকে ফুল মোড কাজ করেনা ভাই, আর পিসি ভার্সনে প্রিমিয়াম হলে অনেক কাজ করে, অনেকেই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের থিসিস এর জন্যে এই টুলস ব্যাবহার করে। আরেকটা জিনিস, যেহেতু আমরা ক্রিপ্টোর সাথে জড়িত, তাই যত সম্ভব কম থার্ড পার্টি এসব টুলস্ ব্যবহার করাই শ্রেয়। এতে নিজেরই ভালো। ধন্যবাদ, ট্রাই করবোনি কেমন চলে।
এইটার উত্তর আপনারও যানা, একমাত্র এ্যাপেল এর প্রোডাক্ট ছাড়া কোনোকিছুই সেভ মনে হয়না আমার কাছে, আপনার হাতের ফোনটা সবথেকে বেশি রিস্কি, একমাত্র এ্যাপেল ছাড়া সকল ফোন বা ডিভাইসে স্ক্রিপ্ট দিয়ে খুব সহজে আপনার উপরে নজরদ্বারী করা সম্ভব। আর এগুলো আমাদের আসে পাসে হর হামেসাই হচ্ছে ।
এখনো ২এক্স যায় নি কিন্তু আশা করি এই মাসেই আমাদের প্রথম স্টেপ ডান হবে।
অনেক অল্টকয়েন একদিনেও ৫এক্স যায় কিন্তু রিস্কি বিনিয়োগ অবশ্যই। আমরা শুধু ফান্ডামেন্টালি ভালো প্রজেক্টের দিকেই নজর দিব।
