1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the pump coming? on: July 04, 2023, 01:07:44 PM
It is not a pump 40k-50k is what should be todays price.

If we get to 40-50k and run to 80k or 90k that's a pump.

I would sell everything if we go to 100k in may

Correct. Must be sensitive in reading the situation. It is possible that those who don't really understand market performance still think that recent price movements are part of a pump set by big players or whales. It is true, it is generally seen that this is a strong enough magnet to attract retail investors and quickly dump their holdings to realize profits, leaving smaller investors at a loss. I think we have to have an inkling like that in looking at the market.
It is true that before investing in the market one must have an understanding of the market otherwise the investors will be at a loss. But for now it is better to hold because the crypto market is stable or the price will increase. In addition, even if the market is involved in the currency dilution policy, bitcoin can maintain its position largely free from the influence of the market. By doing this, investors think that bitcoin or cryptocurrency will be on the list of choices for future businessmen's investments.
1462  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: July 04, 2023, 12:46:26 PM
your earnings is fine but if you can't keep any welfare fund for the future then you can't take care of your family even if you have many sources of income. So spend your fixed income wisely and try to meet the basic needs of the family. Financial planning is a generator for life which is a prudent provision to protect against the uncertainties of life which may permanently affect the financial security of an individual and his dependents. Sufficient time and money must be spent to meet the financial needs of survival. Therefore, it is a good decision for the individual to create enough savings for the near future, distant future and the near future.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: I cannot go home if I don't make a lot of money now!! on: July 04, 2023, 12:30:46 PM
Skills are very important in work I think the online job will give you a lot of advantages nothing here will be illegal and unethical. If you want to work in crypto then there is no role of government it is decentralized. Earning on the internet or working online has become popular nowadays. Many are now turning to freelancing for the opportunity to work independently rather than in a job. But before that, the most important thing is to define your goal. You should first decide what kind of freelancing work you want to do or what services you want to sell. The mistake most people make is to follow what others are doing. Choose the subject that you have experience or that you like your own experience is most useful.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 03, 2023, 01:30:46 PM
I was threatened many times by my family members to stop gambling. Since gambling is considered a punishable offense in our country, one cannot openly indulge in gambling in our country. Sometimes law enforcement officers from gambling dens arrest criminals.

Threats are in categories when it comes to the ones coming as a result of gambling, you can manage to argue your way out with the kind of threats coming from the family members or your friends you're having, but you dare not risk any form of government threat on gambling especially when they are taking strictness on gambling in such country you may found yourself in or the local community settings where you lived in
I agree with you that family threats are normal when it comes to gambling because no family wants to put themselves at risk by gambling. Even if you go ahead at your own risk, if it is legalized by the government, then no strictness will work there, but if it is not legal, legal punishment has to be applied. It is a natural expectation that all those who break the law will be brought to justice. But selective arrests in anti casino operations gambling is still a punishable offense in many countries.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: July 03, 2023, 01:07:23 PM
Yes, whenever I experienced losses from gambling, I will promise myself never to bet next day but some games will come up that will make me to go back to betting next day because I understood the two teams very well and I know the team that will win at the end of the match. Since then,  I don't promise myself to stop gambling when am loosing money than to force myself to stop gamble that very day and continue the next day, and the next day will be a better day that will make me to smile to recover all the losses I experienced. I don't think, it easy to leave gambling when you have achieved so much money from it, but I can take a break from gambling like one or two days before continue gamble.
This is very normal to every gambler. It's like signing a contract with a devil that you can not be able to withdraw again. I can not tell the exact numbers of times I have vow not to ever gamble again but unfortunately I will go back again after few days of my break and that's how I realized that one can not fully abandon gambling once you're addicted unless you are just lucky.
In fact it is very difficult to take an oath in gambling, if it is more addictive it goes to such a point that even after taking the oath, it comes back again after a few days. Also if there are risk factors for gambling, consider avoiding all forms of gambling, people who gamble and places where gambling takes place. Learn to control yourself to prevent gambling from getting worse gambling commitment and returns are entirely up to the individual.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: July 03, 2023, 12:42:30 PM
It is always tough for gamblers to control the urge of gambling when they manage to win a huge amount of money from the casino out of a sudden, as the desire to win more money will always be one of the key reason gamblers losing back their huge amount of winnings back to the casino. I guess that is also one of the reason why casino owners are not panicking about a player winning huge amount of money from them as the same player will just kept on returning to gamble.
It's normal because when we can win a large amount of money, we are triggered to repeat it and try to get another big win. But we forget that big wins often don't come twice but only once, so when we try to continue, we end up getting a lot of losses, even exceeding the amount of big money we got before. Besides that, the greed to win again will come and make us keep playing because we feel we can win it again. The casino owner is of course happy if the winning gambler continues playing because that's when the casino can turn things around and take the winning money from the gambler.
Winning is worse than losing in the casino, a bigger loss. Because the winner will come back to taste the huge excitement that goes through the head. Will play with bigger pot and lose all his movables including previous winnings. Once he gets his head into it, he loses over and over again to withdraw those lost coins, and it usually becomes an addiction. Win to win bigger prizes. Because of this, the casino owner is the winner, but ordinary gamblers are at risk.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 03, 2023, 12:12:04 PM
The demand for gambling worldwide is so high that most gambling platforms do not set age limits. If there is kyc then many people are hindered but if valid and licensed then age does not matter. But in my opinion it is not right to legalize the gambling of minors. They need to have a minimum gambling age of 16-21 years. Gambling with casino games requires some experience or skill. Most games are mathematically arranged in such a way that families suffer more than gamblers. When a gambler starts before the right age in a gambler's life, gambling problems arise in the life of a certain type of adolescent child. Crypto gambling does not set an age limit but prevents minors from growing up.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think topics/discussion on gambling addictions is too much on: July 03, 2023, 11:55:30 AM
This is gambling discussion sub board of the gambling board of bitcointalk forum,  and the main goals of the gambling board is where casinos introduced the platforms via creation of ANN threads and also the discussion sub board where gamblers discuss many other topics as relate to gambling.

But recently I have read a lot of topics as regards to gambling (addictions) and it negative effects on individuals and how we have warn against it,  but at this time I am beginning to think that we are focusing too much on gambling addiction rather than employing ways to avoid addiction but at the same time gamble and have fun to the fullest.

The topics and discussion about gambling addiction is becoming too much and too often to the point that most newbie may likely get scared away from gambling which will not be ok for the casino revenue generation so at this point I am force to ear my view of this topic of gambling addictions, becoming too much in this board.

Or what do you think?

I agree but what we can expect? We are dealing with gambling here so for sure there will be more topic will be created since maybe they newly experience it and want to remind other for not going the same way then be careful on what they do especially when they go excessive gamblinh since there's bo good will happen in their life.
Yes gambling boards usually have a lot of discussions about gambling addiction because too much gambling addiction can make a person destitute. Due to discussion on this board many gamblers are gaining experience from here and controlling themselves and avoiding risk. Also, gambling addiction is the creation of an impossible and uncontrollable need in the mind for gambling. It is extremely difficult to remain unfulfilled therefore play as a medium of entertainment.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: July 02, 2023, 02:09:14 PM
Never heard of a casino going bankrupt due to player winnings. Casino games usually depend on luck and good legitimate casinos are less cheated but not bankrupt. New casinos tend to be less reliable. Participation in these is very low and scams cannot survive in the market for long. These types of online scams are widespread and sophisticated. It may seem like you're finally going to get your big win, but the process is often deliberately complicated and long, and most people give up halfway through and lose their deposits. Therefore, even if the casinos give big wins, the sites should be researched well.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 02, 2023, 01:47:18 PM
Despite the news of the fight that is speculated to be a ruse and may not happen, Elon Musk on his Twitter page some hours ago, made a remark on the possibility of the fight happening in the Colosseum.

This is still a joke that he, Elon can't stop making a muse about.
We all know what kind of person Elon is, he will never stop making news, making gossip , and he specialize in hyping something I am sure that he is just cooking something and there will be no fight that gonna happen, he just want to get people attention I don't know to zuckerberg but that was I am seeing with Elon, soon we will see he is hyping some coins or partnership again.

Am certainly convinced Elon has a magic trick up his sleeves, that he would reveal in the shortest possible time. Perhaps a breakthrough in one of his many projects will let loose his tongue into spilling the reasons why he is making talks about fighting Zuckerberg.
We are seeing competition between facebook twitter but I think Elon Musk may challenge Mark Zuckerberg for this magic trick. And immediately many people accepted it and because of that, the internet is in a frenzy. Many people cannot even imagine that two of the richest people in the world will enter the fighting field like this. Even if the fighting comments go on, the chances of it happening are very low.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 02, 2023, 01:02:13 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?

I regret when I lose money in gambling or when I don't take enough risks on a bet that I think is good. But basically, I just gamble for some dopamine. That's why I don't mind too much when I lose. And the money I use for this job does not strain my budget. Because I'm not pushing my limits and I'm not losing control of myself. However, I still feel sad when I lose and feel regret for my wrong choices, but not too much. In short, I gamble only to increase my emotional intensity. That's why I don't regret too much and I don't get upset.
I agree you have to control yourself in the beginning of gambling and it is foolish to spend more money in the beginning. It should be caught with a small amount which should not be regretted if lost. We love to follow others we judge what we see around us accordingly. But many times it is not possible to control myself it leads to regret. I have never felt pain and work should be taken not as a burden but as entertainment and curiosity. Then if you start immediately, everything will be fine and there will be mental peace.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: July 02, 2023, 12:40:46 PM
The past declared winners inspired people to continue grabbing their tickets because they also fantasize to win a huge amount of money and can change their life instantly.

There's no doubt that some have made this an opportunity to win a lifetime experience they will never forget in lottery, yet some have also been trying over time to make such opportunity but it never comes but despite they keep trying while some had stop giving a try on lottery application, since it's believee that lottery comes with alot of benefits, if everyone can made it to the entry because they needed just few applicants to be selected among many applying.
The lottery game has less risk and more joy in winning no need to invest anything here. A lucky person gets a chance to win tickets that are cheap even if one chooses to play the lottery, and there is no incentive to spend a lot of money to get a large number of tickets. Because the lottery does not participate in the game, there is no reason to accuse the organizers of wrongdoing. The risk of addiction is the least, this type of gambling is the least risky, so the joy of winning the game once is more.
1473  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: July 02, 2023, 12:20:55 PM
In fact, hacking is more common through kyc sites, because the KYC system of gambling platforms requires you to provide any personal information first, so the risk is high and no one can trust you in gambling, so it is better to stay away from casino kyc sites. Also before choosing a casino you should personally check how the platform works, whether it complies with all the rules, whether it meets the requirements and whether it cheats the players. It is important to know what the user feels during the game. Good casino sites do not require kyc now most casinos have fines in kyc.

1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 28, 2023, 02:02:24 PM
Arsenal are serious about getting Declan Rice’s signature and have had two of their bids rejected already, I’m also shocked how much West Ham United are requesting for Declan Rice’s signature and it also reminded me Harry Maguire was signed for a whopping £80m plus and he is not even performing half the expectations for an 80million Euros worth player. Declan Rice is a good player but £100million is just too much to be demanding for a player from West Ham United.
Manchester City made a big bid for Rice, but West Ham turned it down, requesting an increase in the price to match the £100 million. Declan Rice is overhyped, and investing a high sum of money on the Englishman is absurd. I know he's an important player for the Hammers and it would be a huge loss if he left, which is why they're making every effort to profit massively from his deal. Furthermore, David Moyes hunts for a potential replacement for the departing star, it will undoubtedly take time before they find someone who can match Declan Rice's remarkable performance.

I think now is the time for West Ham to sell him and make a huge sum of money but while not having the financial power of Manchester City, or Chelsea, West Ham United is one of the most traditional and richest clubs in England. And, they have proved it time and again over the last four years by buying various famous players for huge sums of money. West Ham have been preparing for a long transfer season to actually reject offers for Rhys. So they have made it clear to the clubs that are interested in Rhys that they are not willing to let him go for even a penny less than his market value of 150 million.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: June 28, 2023, 01:15:02 PM
I think Luka Modric won't go to Saudi Arabia after the end of his contract with Real Madrid either. I expect him to retire after having his last season here. He can even retire from national football as well at the same time. It just feels like Modric could have gone to a Saudi Arabian team or an MLS team maybe already. Because he is really old now.

Of course it is still admirable to see him being able to play for 120 minutes despite his age. We saw this in the Nations League you know. But he doesn't seem interested in going to a team outside Europe for now.
The thought of Luka Modric heading to Saudi Arabia or MLS? Tough to envision. His Real Madrid journey has been spectacular – a perfect curtain call. His capability for handling 120-minute marathons, as seen in the Nations League, is remarkable.

But, the temptation of Saudi teams' big salaries could be actractive. His unyielding tenacity suggests he could still shake things up in a softer league. Yet, it's all speculation. He's not hinted at wanting a ticket out of Europe.
Many believe that Modric and Real Madrid could leave. He will not renew the contract with Real Madrid at the end, will go to the league of Saudi Arabia. Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric was offered by Saudi Arabia. But every time the offer came, he turned it down. He wants to stay at Real Madrid. The 37 year old croatian star still wants to play European football. So the Croatian midfielder has renewed his contract with Real for one more year.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 27, 2023, 07:02:09 AM
Will the price pass 100k$ next year 2024 for buys to make their gain?

As far as I know, people who invest in Bitcoin think that the price of Bitcoin will go up, there are some people who think that they will not sell their Bitcoin until the price goes up, and on the flip side, there are many people who don't. They believe that the price of Bitcoin will fall further, so they sell it at a low price in a hurry. But most people who already know about Bitcoin always benefit.

Well I've hit another birthday, and it's lonely in the old fogie team. I'm thinking of starting an octogenarian group here, but I don't know of any other potential members. Why don't you guys recruit some of the elders you know? Maybe I should invite Biden. Smiley

It's too late to say but still want to say happy birthday Grandpa, You are certainly an important and old man but I think it takes no age to love Bitcoin and you are a respected man, we wish you well so that you can stay with us for more time.
