1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How To Take Back Control Of Your Crypto Finances on: July 22, 2020, 04:56:37 AM

It would be better if you write all the things in your language in this post instead of referring to other sites.
But I can't write it in mine language there is no sub section in this forum in my language and if I will post this in any other forum section than it will be count as a spam. But firstly I read the whole article and then I post the link in this community.

The OP meant to say, please explain in your words what you read in the link instead of just posting the link. If there is no sub-forum in your language, you can write in English here by explaining what you understand from the article.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can btc be use to purchase crude oil on: June 24, 2020, 12:19:24 PM
Your Topic question is about purchasing crude oil using BTC but the description is about the list of things that can be purchased with Bitcoin in the next 10 years? How are they related?

Please change your topic title or write the purpose of writing that question.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Crypto Exchange Platform on: June 24, 2020, 12:04:54 PM
Hey OP, move this post to Announcement section - Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements or Exchange section - Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Discussion > Exchanges

An announcement or Intro about exchanges should be posted under the above sections.
4  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchange? on: April 17, 2020, 01:04:49 PM
Crypto exchange is one of the important things when you are dealing with the cryptocurrency space. Currently, there are over 300+ crypto exchanges exist where most of the exchanges are scams and not having enough liquidity. In this case, selecting the crypto exchange is a bit confusing Huh. So, when you are going to select the crypto exchange, you have to consider some important facts such as exchange reputation, availability, fiat currency availability, KYC requirement, no of altcoin availability, etc. Here is the best cryptocurrency exchange that can be used confidently,
  • Coinbase - best for beginners
  • Cex.io - worldwide support fiat to crypto exchange
  • Binance - altcoin trading
  • Changelly - instant crypto swap
  • Bittrex
  • Kraken
  • Kucoin
  • OKEx
  • Gate.io

Yes, I agree that primarily we need to check the reputation of the company which we can check with the reviews and feedbacks about the exchange. And the number of coins available and Fiat currency availability can be checked on their website. The important thing should be checked is the KYC Requirements to trade. Few exchanges allow trading on them anonymously. I would like to recommend an exchange in addition to the exchanges listed above that pass all the requirements listed above is Coinswitch Exchange.

It's a reputed exchange with good reviews. It supports more than 300+ cryptocurrencies to exchange and also fiat to crypto exchange is available worldwide. And we can trade anonymously on that exchange. It is one of the best exchanges I have used that satisfies all the basic requirements of a user.
5  Other / Meta / [Suggestion] Ascending/Descending Order for Search results on: April 17, 2020, 01:01:39 PM
When we search for a topic in the Bitcointalk, the search result comes randomly there is no filter or drop-down to search with ascending or descending order. If we want the recent post, the search result shows the recent post somewhere in between or in the last. We need to manually search for that topic. It will be good if we have an option to check the topics with the "Date posted" filter either ascending or descending order.

Example:

In the image, we can see that the search result is not showing the recent post first, but it is random.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: VIDEO: Support & Resistance (Beginner Friendly) on: April 17, 2020, 12:43:22 PM
Great job OP! Nice video about trading. It would be good if you share this video in the trading section also, as many traders will be active on that board. Most of the trading enthusiasts will be beneficial with the video. I thought of posting your thread there but without your permission, I cannot post it.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallets, types, security and safety on: April 16, 2020, 12:12:13 PM
In addition to the wallets listed above, I have come across other hardware wallets like Coldcard and Archos Safe-T Mini.

Coldcard is the cheapest bitcoin hardware wallet. Coldcard lets you store and submit your transactions by revealing your private keys like other cryptocurrencies. You’ll need to confirm all your transactions on this external device physically.

Archos Safe-T Mini is a hardware altcoin wallet that is portable. It also has an offline private key storage using an encrypted chipset memory. It has a very easy setup and also multiple cryptocurrency support.

Read here to know more about these hardware wallets. I am sharing it as I came across that even these hardware wallets can be used which are not heard of much.

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please recommend me a place to sell/buy btc without ID verification on: December 22, 2019, 01:17:55 PM
There will be a ID verification in most of the exchanges for buying through a credit/debit card. There are some exchanges where ID verification is not necessary for exchanging cryptocurrencies. You can exchange your coins in this exchange.

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The misused of merit on forum..... on: December 14, 2019, 05:37:56 AM
In my opinion, merit should be given based on the quality of a post and how useful and relevant that post is.

  • If the post is good and the topic is old and known to everyone then it should be awarded 1-2 merits.
  • If the post is new and useful then it should be given 2-3 merits.
  • If the post is too good and benefits more users, then it should be given 5 merits and more.

The maximum smerits a person should give to a post should be below 10. Even though if that post deserves more merits than 10, there are many other members who will be giving the merits. So the number of smerits should be equally distributed to the deserving posts.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which of the following Exchanges have these Altcoins Trading Pairs/Wallets? on: December 14, 2019, 04:28:02 AM
From your list I felt Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin and Bitstamp are best. Other than that there are exchanges like Changelly, Coinswitch, etc which have more trading pairs. Though these exchanges are not on the top search, they are actually good exchanges with more Altcoin trading pairs . You can check the reviews about the exchanges and do some more research about the exchanges before making your decisions.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mobile Wallets on: December 07, 2019, 05:38:56 AM
Mobile wallets are convenient for fast and easy trading. But there is a risk of malware and virus attack. Also, if the phone is lost or damaged, then the cryptocurrency in the wallet is lost. The mobile wallets can be used for small purchases. For storing large number of coins, hardware wallets are the best option.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: new to bitcoin, how do i buy? on: December 07, 2019, 04:26:58 AM
You can buy on any leading exchanges like Binance, Coinswitch, Simplex etc. You can buy Bitcoin with Credit or Debit card with the exchange that supports buying from your location. Before buying on any exchange, please do some research about that platform, check their reviews and then buy.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Phishy Merit! on: December 03, 2019, 11:34:24 AM
On December 2, I have earned a Merit from (Bitcoin Forum) for (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored). I do not know which is this topic where I have never posted. When I open the Merit giver profile, my own profile is opening and when I open the topic for which the merit is given, there is no such topic. How is this possible? Who gave me that merit? I am confused Huh

I am attaching the screenshot -

Am I scammed? Please help me, what should I do?
