1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will DeFi's Future look like? on: December 22, 2020, 09:17:41 AM
So, in conclusion, DeFi is good for "farming" money but not stable at all.

The bubble will soon burst.

Bitcoin breaks 20K is a sign that people are getting back to the "origin" of cryptocurrency. DeFi tokens will be taken down sooner or later, and people will get back together with their old friends: Bitcoin and altcoins.

Some current DeFi projects do not have such a thing called "Governance". It will fall very soon after the hype goes by.

I can't wait to see what they can bring us in 2021.

DeFi has been a bomb in 2020 so far, that's the truth.

There were many DeFi projects being announced to the world. The appearance of UNI is like a savior in the midst of the downtrend.

Now when Bitcoin is back in the game and Ethereum V2 is coming to town, DeFi is likely to take a huge leap next year.

I think next year, Yield Farming will still be the core of DeFi development.

Let's see what else will come.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 5 Best Books On Blockchain You Should Read on: December 16, 2020, 02:44:34 AM
To be honest, books are not my priorities these days Cry
When I need to learn more about blockchain and related things, I will consider YouTube videos, or online magazine such as Cointelegraph, Coindesk, etc.
Those sources bring me a comfortable sense to acquire knowledge since they are full of illustration Roll Eyes as well as clear narrator's voice and easy-to-read paragraphs.
However, I still would like to say thank you very much for the recommendations  Cool I shall read some books someday in the future and your list may help  Wink
Great post!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Benefits Of Blockchain In Our Today’s Life? on: November 20, 2020, 09:00:16 AM
That is a very good article. Kudos to the team!  Wink

As mentioned, '51% attacks' could be a threat to Blockchain. But with the rise of many Proof of Stake blockchains, this happens to be less dangerous than before. With a PoS, the attacker would need to obtain 51% of the cryptocurrency to carry out a 51% attack. The proof of stake avoids this ‘tragedy’ by making it disadvantageous for a miner with a 51% stake in a cryptocurrency to attack the network.

I am also very impressed by this information:
Quote
A recent example is TomoChain. They have officially cooperated with Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training to architect & utilize the NQA system for millions of Diplomas on their Blockchain, handling an entire nation’s demand for education.

This news shows us how far blockchain adoption has gone. Teaming up with the government is a huge step! Let's hope these kinds of partnerships will make blockchain become more friendly to our daily use, and when speaking of blockchain, people will have more things to discuss than just cryptocurrency.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in blockchain? on: September 23, 2020, 07:37:19 AM
I understand what you mean by investing in crypto.
Investing in blockchain has another meaning.
Blockchain is a technology, investing in blockchain is studying new ways to improve blockchain.
Blockchain investment is not only for profit but also an investment in the future, it is longer-term than any way of making money.
Very nice answer. I totally agree with you.
Technology in general and Blockchain in particular will not make it this far if people keep talking about profit and how much they can earn from it. The main purpose of technology is to make world a better place. Blockchain day by day proves itself can became the game changer.
I hope that in the near future, the price of cryptocurrencies will mean nothing but a reflection of the value of blockchain.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are nodes? on: September 14, 2020, 07:25:03 AM
So in each Proof-of-Stake blockchain, there might be only a limited number of these Master Nodes?
I think this is an innovation compared to the early Proof-of-Work blockchains that have been showing many limitations.
But what will happen if one of these Master Nodes run into errors and you do not have an alternative Master Node right away?

Okay I tried Pantograph and it impresses me!
Basically, I can do everything with Pantograph as on Telegram or even Facebook.
Also, I can tip or host an airdrop for my beloved community if I want to. Everything is very simple and easy to do.
So far, this is my #1 dApp on TomoChain.
Let's see what Bacoor team can bring to Pantograph in the future.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: List of Decentralized/Centralized Exchanges on: July 03, 2019, 09:20:48 AM
Hi,

Try HB DEX, a built-in decentralized exchanges in HB Wallet.

HB DEX is a decentralized exchange market where all transactions will be conducted directly on Ethereum Blockchain. HB DEX operates entirely on HB Wallet Desktop Application, which is safer than web-based Exchanges and Wallets. Everything will be taken care by HB Wallet from storing tokens, conducting transactions, paying fees to check for transaction statuses. Via HB DEX, users can easily exchange ERC-20 token for ETH and vice versa, then sync their wallets to HB Mobile later.

Download HB Wallet Desktop version here to try HB DEX: https://www.hb-wallet.com/promo
