281  Economy / Speculation / Re: take advantage of opportunities on: August 19, 2023, 11:59:28 PM
today i saw the btc market it went down 5% and now it is $26800 and i saw very scared people and many are selling their btc cheap but i will not miss this golden opportunity when people are panic selling so i will buy it. and I'm lucky to still have balance left on my exchange.

Are you also taking advantage of this opportunity, friend?

Now the price has become more low, now Bitcoins are at almost 25k usd price range. The reason for this sudden dip is uncertain. We are also not able to judge whether the price will go more down and if it goes down the where it will stop. But to be in safe hands, I would suggest not to wait more and buy the coins at current price. If we greed more and wait, then who knows if we miss this golden opportunity of 25k usd price for Bitcoins.
The price is around $26k and it had touched the low bottom around $25400. None is sure about the reason behind the price drop. Low liquidity is being experienced and the same could even push the market downward. It is time to be on the safer side. For all who believe on the re-bounce of the market, it is time to invest.

In relation to the halving there are more chances of price dropping down further and increase in a gradual manner so to make the progress in a better way at the time of halving than just experiencing a sudden steep on the growth chart.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Instead of Gold? on: August 19, 2023, 11:52:55 PM
The answer to a debate that is constantly discussed on social media accounts and news outlets may open doors to different answers for everyone. So, Why Bitcoin Instead of Gold for you?

If this topic has been discussed before, I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me.

For me, I chose Bitcoin because of its portability.  It can be easily transferred and does not need a third-party institution for Bitcoin transactions.  Even though gold has been circulating for too long, the age of technology isn't stuck with ancient technology.  So as technology changes, there is a compatible technology that will make access, transaction, buying, and selling more convenient for traders and investors.
Very few prefer bitcoin for the mentioned reason. Majority of us were upon the profitability. Just think of the growth bitcoin have achieved through the years. In reality most of the users who were part of bitcoin doesn't know the technology or the goodness behind it, just focusing on the profit they have made their entry into bitcoin. Even now the people who had made good profit out of gold investment never switch to bitcoin or something else considering the risks.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you will do? on: August 19, 2023, 11:38:22 PM
Give up/taking break from gambling for some time period is the right choice, but our minds won't get into it. Used to stay away for some time period, beyond that it is like switching to other games lowering the bet amount. Even in that if I wasn't able to keep up the capital then choice is to go for higher bet amount. This is to recover the lost amount in all the previous bets. If we never think about win, then this won't be a big deal. When our focus is money then we should have the perfect control on our gambling activities.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 19, 2023, 11:32:06 PM
Ramiz Raja is the one who talked about national dignity but Najam Sethi talked about money. The new government of Pakistan didn't even bothered to resist rather agreed on everything proposed by BCCI. Now India will not come to Pakistan for Asia Cup but Pakistan will go to India for World Cup. Next is icc championship trophy and same episode will be repeated by India.
Previous PCB Chairman Raja is taken strict action and stood on Asia Cup if India come to Pakistan. Pakistan Will go to India for the world cup but now current PCB chairman Najim is not taken a stand on the Asia Cup. I think The main reason is Asia Cup is not an ICC event. ICC champion trophy 2025 will be held in Pakistan. And every team come to Pakistan if any team doesn't come BCCI and another team. ICC will take action against him if which team doesn't come to Pakistan for the champion Trophy.
I am not going to lie here but a fair amount of people in India were counting on such tactics but it was bad luck (For Indians) that PCB caved.

BCCI or overall India in general wants Rambo (Immi) kind of people in charge of PCB (Pakistan). I won't dwell much on it but imagine what would happen if Pakistan actually boycott the World Cup.

If you can grab the gist of it then i won't mind a productive discussion.
If Pakistan boycott the World Cup some of the media will get in to make decisions on the venues or they'll try to make compromise talks. Rather than anyone it is the media that is making huge money out of the India vs Pakistan match. Surely one of the interesting part of World Cup could be left behind without Pakistan.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 19, 2023, 11:24:28 PM
Meanwhile, Carlitos Alcaraz had a tough fight against Aussie Max Purcell: 4:6, 6:3, 6:4. 20yr Spaniard managed to stop Purcell who was on the winning strike of his life defeating Ruud, Wawrinka and Harris on his way to the quarterfinal. Carlitos is going to meet Hubert Hurkacz who had already guaranteed himself a spot in the semis earlier.

Alcaraz is struggling a lot on hard court and is barely winning against guys that arent in top 50 even. This shouldnt happen to the no1 in the world. Look at Djokovic he destroyed Fritz in straight sets and first set 6-0. I think that if Djokovic goes up against Alcaraz he will beat him easily

Again, a good comeback from Alcaraz. He is definitely proving that he has great potential to come back from bad situations. I was a little surprised to see him training and losing the first set in the match, not gonna lie. But he did make it good comeback by winning the second and third sent back to back.

In the next match, which is the semi-final, he is going to face Harkacz. The match will actually start very soon. I think he is also going to win the match. This semi-final should not be a big problem for him in my opinion.
Alcaraz is really strong and he's making history. His comeback used to be the better thing with his performance similar to what Djokovic does. In the Cincinnati Masters Alcaraz hadn't won matches in an easy way. Every match he had good competence and won those matches reaching the deciding set.

Now in the semifinals he lost the second set and now leads the deciding set 4-1 which is going to be an easy win. Earlier he had lost the first set 2-6. Hurkacz is really good, as he had won against Tsitsipas and other leading players to reach the semifinals.

In the women's event, Muchova have reached the finals winning against Sabalenka 64-77 6-3 6-2. In the other semifinal Gauff defeated Swiatek 62-77 6-3 4-6.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 19, 2023, 11:12:33 PM
The Saudi league is back with the arrival of other European players and now it is Aleksander Mitrovic's turn to join Al-Hilal. It looks like the saudi league really wants to become one of the world's top leagues if this keeps happening and what they want will gradually be realized. The transfer fee totals over 50 million euros and Mitrovic will be under contract for 3 years. Now Al-Hilal's squad depth is evenly distributed with the presence of other European players, even though only yesterday they introduced Neymar as their star recruit. We will see a new trio from Al-Hillal namely Neymar, Malcom and Mitrovic for this season.
Is Al Hilal the team with the best squad at the moment?
There are seven of Europe's best players coming here, the last being Neymar, Mitrovic and Bono.

Goalkeeper, Bono
At the back we have Koulibaly
Midfielders, Ruben Neves and Savic.
Strikers, Neymar, Mitrovic and Malcom

It's safe to say that this season's championship candidates for the SPL, of course the race will get even more interesting, some other teams can get players during the 10 days before the transfer window closes. Grin

Soon the discussion could turn towards other teams as the performance from the much expected Al-Nassr isn't upto the level. The successive losses have made football fans with memes flowing on Al-Nassr.

Maybe Al-Hilal could be the best squad. We'll get to know better as matches go on. We're at the very beginning of the season. In my understanding some of the much focused teams could leave the race earlier if this is how they play.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 19, 2023, 11:08:03 PM
It took Kosovare Asllani's stunning second half strike to seal Sweden's victory over co-hosts Australia as the swedish team finished their 2023 Women's World Cup campaign as their their best team of the tournament.
Following Australia's scintillating performance in the tournament, I had tipped them to win the third-place play-off against Sweden because of the support of the home fans but unfortunately for them they were comfortably beaten by Sweden. The defeat ended Australia's heroic performance in this edition of the World Cup as it was their best performance in the history of the competition
Being the host Australia had got added advantage with the home support. Throughout the tournament the support from the home ground audience is really great and this had pushed Australia to reach this level defeating stronger teams. It is like a big dream come true and the Australia team feels proud that they're a football nation. Now the heat is high and the complete attention is upon the England vs Spain match which is gonna decide the FIFA Women's World Cup Winner for the year 2023.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: August 18, 2023, 11:52:30 PM
This should be stopped at the right time, if not he could end up with addiction. During their school education they shouldn't be exposed to such activities. Nowadays this is really difficult, it is the parents responsibility to explain the student in this best way and keep him away from gambling. Once started to experience the addiction, surely it'll keep them follow it unlike the scenario around them.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 18, 2023, 11:48:52 PM
It is able to see technology wise interested people among the old ones. This means better the technology taught better will be the goodness from the users happening around. Technology is life changing and majority of the people realise it. Age used to be a constraint that lets them stay away. It is good to identify such people and educate them about the good of bitcoin and the need in the future.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help to Bitcoin education? on: August 18, 2023, 11:45:56 PM
Spread the real word about bitcoin which is the real way of helping with the Bitcoin education. Not many were able to understand the reality, but they all believe in the market. When they understand what is happening, the users will be more confident as well as there won't be panic and other formats of trades take place.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 18, 2023, 08:27:17 AM
Today in Saudi Professional League Al-Khaleej vs Al-Ahli Saudi in the match of these two teams, Al-Ahli Saudi won the match by scoring 3 goals. The game did very well from the beginning to the end. R.  Ibañez scored the first goal in the 9th minute.R.  Mahrez scored the 2nd goal at 45+1 minutes.S.  Al-Nabit scored the 3rd goal at 90+11 minutes to win the match. Enjoyed a very nice game between the two teams. But Al-Khaleej team players played very poorly. Al-Khaleej only scored 1 goal in this match.
Obviously this is an easy victory for Al-Ahli, especially with the European players they have. The former AS Roma defender opened the scoring for Al-Ahli and heading into halftime, Riyad Mahrez grabbed the second with his right foot. I didn't see Roberto Firmino starting this game and not even on the bench. If he had been available in last night's match, Al-Ahli would have scored more than 3 goals for sure. Well, at least this is a good result to continue to dominate the Saudi league and Al-Ahli currently leads the top of the standings with a total of 6 points from two winning matches.
Al-Ahli made it an easy win converting the opportunities into goal. From the beginning Al-Ahli was in lead and this made them play without much of pressure. After hard fight Al-Khaleej made a goal in the 58th minute. Al-Ahli was in lead, based on the statistics of the match both the teams were equally strong and are similar in performance. Al-Ahli converted the chances into goal where Al-Khaleej was wasn't able to do it. With the win Al-Ahli stands on the top, and more to go. So, daily we can experience changes on the top order of points table.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 18, 2023, 12:00:04 AM
Batting first, New Zealand set UAE a target of 156 runs. A target of 156 runs is not a big target. The UAE players, however, failed to meet the target set by New Zealand. But if the players of United Arab Emirates could do better in batting. Then UAE could have won the match against New Zealand. There are two more matches left and hopefully UAE will be ready to do well in the upcoming matches
In the powerplay UAE scored 59/2 and the winning chance was high. Further wicket started to fall, but runs came through the players and on one side Aryansh took the team towards the historic win. At some point he's very tired and couldn't bat well. Anyhow he made a personal record of a debutant scoring highest run for UAE. The team at the end should've scored little by little, if that had taken place the losing margin could've got lowered. Anyhow this is really tough game for New Zealand as they couldn't have expected such a performance from the UAE team.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: August 17, 2023, 11:55:09 PM
I can honestly say that many people around me have complained about the radical change efforts on twitter. maybe Musk's mistake is that he can't tell us exactly the platform he wants to create. but people don't seem to want any other innovation on twitter except for minor improvements. i think he wants to make it a platform where more crypto aware people can use it and get some work done, but i think it's too early for that. as you said, millions of ordinary people use this platform and he should make it a more democratic and user request based platform instead of using it like a rich kid playing with his toy. otherwise this decline will continue.
Many users are lost from Twitter due to Twitter's name and logo change. Personally speaking, I find it very bad now.  And now I ignore Twitter. That's exactly how many users are leaving Twitter. This is a wrong decision of Elon Musk on the other hand now anyone can buy a verified badge in exchange of money on Twitter due to which now many fake accounts are also getting verified badge.  Due to this, it is becoming difficult to find a legal company's Twitter page.  This is another fault of Twitter.  I don't know why Elon Musk is doing this.  I personally condemn it

Take McDonalds rebranding for example. Search in google how McDonalds looked 20-40-60 years ago. They have completely change the way their restaurants look, the way employees look (uniform), the way menu look (wrapping and etc). Do you think less people started to visit McDonalds or change their taste? Imho every company needs a rebranding. Standing on one place, while industry is walking forward is wrong. Rebranding was needed. In fact, Elon has changed only the logo. Everything else stayed the same. Users habits remained the same. Every single button is on a same place.
You have a point because there is new management on it, so for sure having to change its name and branding is a possibility because the original owner is not there anymore, and those people who invest to earn big on it have a responsibility to change it on whatever they want too. Also, I don't see people laving Twitter ber like the purpose is the same ,but correc m e if i am wrnng as i am not reall into Ttwiteer as i a into Facacebook but you ar righ right functions are there and stil what Twitttwitter before is still the same riht nowow so i don't really understand why.
Behind the change of name there used to be some reason and the same won't be exposed in the short time. Over time people will come to know or the real reason behind the new name. For now it looks like it is his tag letter, because almost everything he owns have got a X. Earlier it is the SpaceX and now Twitter getting rebranded to "X" which could make changes.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to be great? Then be ready to learn. on: August 17, 2023, 11:50:19 PM
Not everyone have the mind to learn. Whenever you hear about something new we should understand what is behind it and analyse to know it better than coming to a conclusion on someone else words. This is the reality with most of the people, over time they've corrected themselves and are concentrating good on cryptocurrency investment.

Ignorance is a big problem, and after years thinks bad of missing opportunities. When it comes to bitcoin, there is nothing to worry because you'll get opportunities and we should be prepared enough to experience the best out of it.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe are physical exchanges in your neighborhood. on: August 17, 2023, 11:44:31 PM
This is the first time I'm hearing about a physical exchange of Bitcoin and I hope the OP or those who have tried these services can tell us what countries they live in and how it works. This is just out of curiosity and knowledge of something new, but personally I would never venture to use these services if the country does not support crypto services. In the most extreme cases, if I have to use it, I prefer to maintain as much privacy as possible, such as visiting stores that are not in my neighborhood, or dividing the amount that I want to exchange into more than one part, and asking some friends to exchange it for me at new addresses. It is not without risk, in my opinion.
When the country hadn't legally providing support for the service, it is really risky to run the exchange service. In my country I haven't come across these kind of services, but I have the thought of opening a store to support people to know about bitcoin and invest into it. In my country the same problem, the government isn't steady in its position. Anytime something against the service can happen, better is to stay away from these kind of services. However in my understanding these services surely help with the spread about bitcoin.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 16, 2023, 12:41:03 PM
Not many have experienced it. Once out of the urge to gamble I used the loan money for the purpose of gambling. The bad thing is with the buying process. After buying bitcoin for the purpose of gambling once I realised I couldn't have done it. Because there is difference in the buying and selling price. Finally the mind thought of gambling to gain the margin paid addition while buying. Started and things went well and I was able to make profit. I could've stopped there, but I didn't and the same made me loss all the loan amount and it took me years to settle the loan amount along with the interest.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: August 16, 2023, 12:21:16 PM
Online gambling is a billion dollar industry. Even the country that doesn't have the perfect regulatory compliance makes billion dollar revenue. This is the reason we were able to see countries that doesn't ban gambling completely.

The increasing online penetration and the increasing usage of smartphones leads to the rise in the demand of online gambling against the traditional gambling service that were used by very specific category of people.

The healthy part is the growth of the gaming industry. There is good growth in the gaming industry which keeps people away from gambling. The growth of online gambling is experienced high during the COVID lockdown and the same is getting continued. Maybe if such thing hadn't happened we might've not experienced this level of growth.

Sam ker goal has just resuscitated the hopes of Australian women in the game. And from how the 18munites of the second half has been played Australia is possessing the ball and the game has become daisy at the moment. Its getting more interesting with a winner yet unclear.

Its too bad that she has to do it again because the Australian defense (which is usually very strong and solid) just made an error that cost them another goal. Its bad because this was a goal that could've been easily prevented since the ball was in Australian court but they miscommunicated and England capitalized on it.

England back in the lead, 2-1 now.  We're now heading to the closing stages of the game. I'm hopeful Australia can see another goal otherwise, it's the end of the road for them.
However, Australian's defense is performing poor right now, which is why cost them and England is leading 2-1.
Sam Kerr managed to equalize briefly, but Australia couldn't hold onto it for long. Just after celebrating Kerr's goal, Australia conceded another goal by Hemp eight minutes later, making it 2-1.

86' England 3-1 Australia

As predicted England have won the semifinal match with a big lead 3-1. Australia wasn't able to keep its competence high against England's performance. England made its first goal at the 36th minute. With hard fight Australia levelled the goal 1-1 with the goal coming from Kerr at the second half 63rd minute. Soon after that consecutive goals came from England players Hemp and Russo in the 71st & 86th minute. Australia isn't bad with its performance, they lacked in converting the chances into goals. Anyhow a good match. Final is going to be lucky as the tough one play against the lucky one.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 15, 2023, 09:48:36 AM
1st semifinal is close to the end. As the majority predicted match is going so close, Spain took the lead with the goal in the 81st minute. Following the goal Sweden have made a goal in the 88th minute. Match is getting interesting at the last moment. Comeback goal from Spain in the 89th minute, and now with the goal from Carmona the lead is 2-1.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the powerhouse of cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2023, 05:59:48 PM
Thats the truth. Rather than mentioning it as the power house we can state it to be the backbone to the entire cryptocurrencies. If the bitcoin wasn't able to stand strong none of the cryptocurrency stands in the upright position.

The usage of BlockChain technology is quite effective and even the countries that had banned cryptocurrencies were in much favour on blockchain technology usage. Some way the technology is making big change around the world.

Altcoins kept separately will give good profit based on the asset. We don't know how many games were there to be prized. When something had gained popularity, then we shouldn't fall for it.
