6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: April 29, 2021, 02:37:31 AM
President Joe Biden has just delivered his first State of the Union address 100 days on from his inauguration.

How is he doing? And, would you bet on him winning a second term?  (If not, who would you bet Bitcoin on?)

BUMP - What flavour of Rugby is being played in your part of the world right now?

Do your other alts also have trust lists, or is this a new development?

I was having those "500 error" issues again during the week, but have just rebroadcast (and have reached out to someone for their help).

Will advise if anything comes of it.

Australia's State of Origin Game Three is on in 24 hours.

It's State Vs State.

Who's going to win?
11  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: November 02, 2020, 10:35:04 PM
But DT1 has changed, and eddie13 is no longer on DT1.

I hadn't noticed that. Makes sense ...

(How much to subscribe to the "live" trust viewer instead of the free weekly update?) 😎
12  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: November 02, 2020, 08:47:03 PM
Yes. Unless some of the DT1's are excluded, in which case they can only vote for DT1 but can't vote for DT2.

I'm just on a short break at work, this user has one of each: https://loyce.club/trust/2020-10-31_Sat_04.09h/162384.html but their trust feedback (even with ;dt ) isn't showing up.
13  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some Guidelines when you posting a feedback. (Account sellers) on: September 19, 2020, 12:38:02 AM
Since so many new users are joining DT1 and DT2, there should be some guidelines, how to properly leave a feedback.
Many times I also have left just a "short" ones, but now I see them as a incomplete.
I have an idea to collect the best practices when leaving a feedback.

My first suggestion is regarding the Account Sellers.
Posting only "Account Seller" might be enough for those who are familiar with the rules but most of the time those who try to buy an account have heard that they can make money here and to skip developing an account, especially now with the merit system, just purchase one and have no idea that there are consequences. Most of the time they get scammed too.

So what I think we should be doing is to leave a bit more detailed information in the feedback, not only Account Seller. but Like for instance:

Here is an example of a short feedback - account_seller777:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2678226

Note:The self-moderation is only to prevent this thread from being flooded with spam. No censorship!

It'd take me a while to find the thread, but this was discussed by the various people DT and non-DT about three/three and a half years ago (as well as labling alts either those alts that have scammed, or, are simply alts but no scam is apparent).

Quote
Account buying/selling is not endorsed by the forum and can result in negative feedback on the account. Account sellers are not to be trusted, you are most likely to loose money.

I tend to write:

Quote
BCT account seller which causes instability in this forum and in real life.

and usually give a link to their account selling activities.  (I tend to place "BCT" to denote a forum account seller as opposed to a Pay Pal / Twitter / Facebook / Casino etc etc account seller.)

I'd be happy to go back and modify my previous posts with the above if there is consensus on that statement.

One question I would like to pose, is, are we just going to label bitcointalk account sellers, or, other types of accounts such as Facebook account - sellers?  or what about those who it would seem are offering to escrow such transactions?

Feel free to scroll back through my trust feedback on my main alt's page for more account sellers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=131361;page=sent;offset=0

Sorry to necro bump this thread, have you continued to study the decline of posting over time?  It'd be interesting to see if there was a rise during the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent lock-downs.
15  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists? on: September 12, 2020, 11:09:38 PM
I figure this is the right thread to post this.

I am distrusting these "mobile alts" from my own mobile alt account as a means to protect these accounts from being used and abused by any hackers.  This is not an indictment on the users (some of whom were on my main alt's distrust list up until today) and does not cover all "known alts", rather, just "mobile alts" of some well known users.  Given this "mobile alt" of mine is not on DT and does not "trust" any user (and has only made a dozen or so trust feedback posts) these "distrusts" hold no weight on their own.

The users are:

Code:
~DarkStar_alt
~DiamondCardzAlt
~dragonvsandroid
~fullypak-alt
~kenzawak_alt
~kenzawak_alt2
~LoyceMobile
~monbuxalt
~pam_alt_
~Philipma1957cellphone
~theymos_away
~V8s Road Warrior

This list may grow over time.

Feel free to distrust my own mobile alt: https://loyce.club/trust/2020-09-12_Sat_05.10h/2640757.html

Code:
~Timelord2o67
16  Economy / Services / Re: [LoyceMobile] Signature available! Accepting Bitcoin Lightning (LN) only on: September 12, 2020, 10:51:14 PM
Timelord2067/Timelord2o67's advertising ended, and I've removed their part of my signature. Thanks for being the first to advertise in my Mobile signature!
I don't know why, but Timelord2[0o]67 removed all their posts from this topic. Now it looks like I've been talking to myself. I've removed some of my posts, but I want to keep records of the payments, so I leave those posts.

Sorry I've just noticed this post, I'd only removed those posts to free up you thread for more serious enquiries to use your signature.  I'd only intended a short trial use and thought at the time that it'd look better for your thread if I removed my posts.

My apologies... But... Not really.... My list was long overdue for a major overhaul.

There were also other changes as well, if that makes anyone feel better Roll Eyes

How does adding multiple hundreds of UID's to your distrust list qualify as a "major overhaul"?

Well what do you know....

It works.
