1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be confused, bitcoin halving doesn't translate into bitcoin All time high on: May 27, 2024, 07:03:28 PM
My advice
Don't buy bitcoin because you assume that bitcoin price will skyrocket after bitcoin halving, that is a wrong mentality that could lead to depressing results if that failed to happen.
Lots of people bought bitcoin when halving was close, thinking that immediately after halving, the bitcoin price was really going to pump. Some of them sold their properties, thinking that immediately after the halving, bitcoin would skyrocket and they would sell and buy back the property they sold, but most of them are just disappointed right now because bitcoin is still maintaining its price and it hasnít pumped yet. Most people donít really understand what halving is all about, they just hear about it, and they are told bitcoin will pump after halving, but they donít know itís not immediately after halving.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does addicted gamblers only lose money all the time on: May 27, 2024, 05:51:15 PM
Addiction is like a course because you don't even get to enjoy your lucky wins. You want to play all the time.
Thatís the problem with addicted gamblers, they never enjoy their money, even if they win. An addicted gambler will end up spending all the money won back on gambling, and they might end up losing it back. No matter the amount addicted gamblers are winning from gambling, you wonít know they have won because they hardly do things for themselves, they are always hoping to increase the money, and they will keep on gambling till everything is gone and they will have to start afresh.
If you calculate the amount lost by addicted gamblers and the amount they have won, then you will see it doesnít really make sense. The best thing is to stay away from gambling addiction, because you might find it very difficult to stop.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 27, 2024, 04:17:48 PM
Firstly because Manchester United's performance was so erratic. That's why we all considered Manchester City as favourites.   Manchester United's players could not perform well even against relatively weak teams.
Itís normal in football that a clubís performance in previous matches will be used to predict their next match. Since Manchester United's performance has been poor and Manchester City has been playing well, and they won the Premier League title. Everyone expected them to win Manchester United, but their performance wasnít really so good in the match. Things didnít really go well for Manchester City. They dominated the match, but they couldnít win the match.

But the performance of Manchester City players in this match was not good enough.   It's true that City's players attacked a lot, but Manchester City's players failed to find the weaknesses in United's defence.
I donít really know what happened to Manchester City's performance in the match, is it that they underestimated Manchester United in the match? or is it that Manchester United made their defense so strong that Manchester City wonít be able to break?

Before saying that I am a fool, I know this is a scam, but I need to ask about what could possibly go wrong if he submit a wallet address? I did told him to submit a random wallet address that is empty with no single transactions in the past though but I can't stop thinking what this could lead to.
Is it really necessary? Why waste your time doing all this? You know the person is a scammer, so I see no reason why you should even communicate with him. If I am your brother, I will just ignore the person because I know itís totally a waste of time, and the person will make me keep on remembering my past. I do say that anyone claiming to help you recover your coin is just trying to scam you, they want to increase your loss, so stay away from them. Itís better you just accept your loss and move on rather than trying to recover the coin.

If you know their trick you can always be ahead of them and possibly be able to Warn others too, I am just wondering what they could possibly have in mind, I think they will track his transactions to know his worth. Or there is more? What do you think?
I donít know what the scammer will be doing with the wallet address, but I am sure after asking for the wallet address, the scammer will also request the wallet private key, and if your brother can also provide that, then anything remaining in the wallet will be moved.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 26, 2024, 09:14:36 PM
When you want to invest in Bitcoin don't because people is investing in Bitcoin and you invest, I prefer taking my time to make a research before I invest on Bitcoin
I know everyone is now talking about bitcoin investment. Whenever you open your social media, you are going to see lots of posts about bitcoin and other altcoins. Donít just start investing in bitcoin because you see it on social media or because your friend asks you to invest without doing your own research first. If you do that, you might end up losing all your investment. If you are investing in bitcoin, then first take your time to learn about it. Learn about things you are supposed to do and things you are not supposed to do. Just make sure you have basic knowledge about bitcoin before putting your money in it.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing the money in gambling, what is your strategy on: May 26, 2024, 09:06:38 PM
One if my friends had loss nearly 2000$ in the gambling, because of his loss even his family suffered a lot in financially.Even his family not able to afford to pay their rent for their house for the few months.
What most people donít understand about gambling is that itís not a place where you can really make money. Thatís why you have to gamble with just a little amount,  itís not going to affect you even if you lose. In gambling, we are all just making predictions, and we can be wrong, so donít be too confident when placing a bet. I do feel bad whenever I see that family members are also suffering just because of a stupid mistake a family member makes.

I had suggested my friend to quit gambling and I had feel that he totally get addicted to the gambling.Which was the cause for the many high risk to get into the complete loss.
Thatís the problem I always have with addicted gamblers. Whenever you want to correct them, they hardly listen to correction, and they will make you feel like what they are doing is right. Some will tell you they can stop gambling whenever they want, and they will never admit they are addicted to gambling.

Now he had decided to start the gambling again with the loan money to balance the previous loss of 2000$.What is your opinion on this,I had suggested him to go to the regular job to reduce the loan in step by step to reduce the loan burden. But he had word of ďWe can earn,Where we had loss everything ď.Share your opinion on this.
I think your friend is just trying to increase his loan because he might end up losing the loan he just took again. The worst thing a person should do is take a loan to gamble. I think you should advise your friend to stop gambling completely and get a job just to pay back the loan instead of trying to add to his problem.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double your money and quite on: May 26, 2024, 08:24:02 PM
For me, when I play, I enter with the intention of double the amount of money and stop. This method may be followed by some people, and I do it sometimes.
You might be lucky, but whenever I try things like this, I always end up regretting why I did it. Whenever I want to gamble to increase money, things are always going against me. Thatís why I never have it in mind again to increase the money I am gambling with. Some of my friends also complained to me that whenever they are in need of emergency money and they decide to gamble, they are always losing the money they deposited. I donít really know the reason for that.

I stop and do not deviate from the scope of the plan. In such situations, especially when winning, the gambler may become greedy, and this may change the course of the game
Some gamblers do win when they are gambling, but what is always affecting them is that they are always finding it difficult to stop gambling whenever they are winning, they are always having the mindset that they will keep on winning, which means that at the end they will end up losing all the money they have won and even the money they started gambling with.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: May 25, 2024, 09:52:29 PM
I think this year in crypto is literally different from the rest. I don't know if it's just me. But do you guys notice that there have been a lot of airdrops done lately by wallets?
There have been lots of airdrops coming up recently, but the problem with all those airdrops is that most of them end up being scams. Some will pay people that participated in the airdrop, but they will never list any of them in exchange, and some airdrops just want you to connect your wallet with their website, and they will be moving everything you have in your wallet. So when participating in an airdrop, we still have to be very careful and smart. Most of those airdrops are scams, and just moving everything you have in your wallet.
When you are participating in airdrops, make sure you are making use of a new wallet address. Never connect your main wallet, which you have assets in, to any website for airdrops, you are risking losing your money.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 25, 2024, 09:30:01 PM
I tried an experiment by just recording my picks and then betting the opposite of my analysis. Surprisingly, this resulted in profitable betting.
Will I say your strategy is really effective, or should I say you are just lucky for now. It might not really last for you. How are you going to do your analysis, then you will decide to place a bet opposite your analysis, itís not really a good idea to me. If you know you will be going against your analysis, then why stress yourself out doing analysis? To save yourself from that kind of stress, you should just pick randomly and place your bet. You have to be careful because time might come when you will start losing money unnecessarily. Make sure you always control yourself when gambling.

So how about you? Have you ever thought of this idea when your picks aren't hitting?
If my picks arenít hitting, then I will just check whatís wrong, maybe during that period, I will have to gamble less. When gambling, there is always a period when you are going to be winning frequently, and time will come when you will be losing, so just because I am losing doesnít mean I will start placing bets against my analysis.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: May 25, 2024, 09:11:15 PM
Man United saved this season with win against City rivals, but I didnt expect such outcome today.
Maybe Man City players celebrated Premier League title and got more relaxed then they should, so it was hard to get motivated today.
Well done Man United for getting in Europe competition next season and congrats for winning this year FA Cup.
Maybe Manchester City underestimated Manchester United. Maybe that was what happened today, because I was just surprised by what happened in todayís match. Manchester City celebrated their premier league win, and they lost focus on the FA Cup. this will serve as a lesson to Manchester City, but I know Pep Guardiola will really be pained by the result of the match. Guardiola wanted to win both the Premier League and the FA Cup this season, but he could only get the Premier League this season. Thatís just why football is really interesting, surprises happen always. Manchester United tried today and they won the FA CUP, but their inconsistency makes people think they wonít be winning the match.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 25, 2024, 08:28:00 PM
I wouldn't believe the outcome of the FA Cup finals. I thought Manchester City would beat Manchester United as usual, but when I went to watch the match, Manchester United was already leading Manchester City by two goals, thanks to the error of Manchester City's defender for Manchester United's first goal.
I didnít also expect the result of the match, I was unable to watch the first half of the match. I started watching in the second half of the match, and I was just shocked to see that Manchester United were already winning the match. I was too confident that Manchester City would win the match, so seeing Manchester United win the FA cup this season is really surprising to me, but thatís football for you, anything can happen at any time, and we shouldnít be too confident always.

I am happy that Manchester United won the FA Cup trophy when nobody gave them the chance of winning it this season.
Congratulations to Manchester United. I never wanted Manchester United to win the cup. I am not really a Manchester City fan, but I wanted them to win the FA Cup today, but things didnít go well for them. Once again, congratulations to Manchester United.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy method to stay safe for new bitcoin buyer crypto beginner on: May 24, 2024, 09:11:09 PM
1) Stop visiting pornography websites.
Reason: These sites have the most traps or nets for hacking, moreover, these sites stimulate people's brains, then you will be restless to click anywhere, which is a trap for hackers.
I donít think pornography websites are the only ones where you can get hacked. All I will say is that we should stop visiting random websites. If we are visiting any website, we should always make sure that we double check to confirm if we are visiting the legitimate site and not a fake one.

3) If you use an online wallet, always keep the wallet's email address username and passwords separate from other accounts.
You shouldnít even leave your bitcoin in an online wallet,  if you are holding your bitcoin, then it should be kept in a non-custodial wallet. Never leave your bitcoin in a hot wallet, anything can end up happening to it at any moment because you donít have total control over it.
Also, if you have an exchange account, make sure you use a different gmail username and password from the one you were using for other websites, and make sure your sensitive information shouldnít be stored online.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 24, 2024, 08:42:02 PM
Since bitcoin promotes mostly anti-government, banks, etc.

I am wondering; Do you trust bitcoin holders?
Why do you think bitcoin holders are anti-government? No they are not. Bitcoin holders do complain about the government just because the government and the banks are against bitcoin, and we know that they are doing it just for their own selfish interests, they are making people believe that bitcoin is bad and that it is only used by scammers, which is very wrong. Banks are against bitcoin because they know itís going to kill their business. People now prefer to leave their money in bitcoin rather than keep it in banks, which is why banks are against bitcoin. So I do trust bitcoin holders, and they are not anti-government, they are just fighting for bitcoin.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 23, 2024, 09:33:38 PM
I used to hear people say that most of the matches are being fixed by the football body such that they make sure that the matches play according to how they fixed them to play and the reason why the VAR was introduced was even to help in actualizing the match fixing.
I donít really believe in match fixing, actually, it might be happening, but I believe itís going to be all those local leagues. Maybe things like that might be happening, but even if there will be match fixing, itís going to be done hidden, and people wonít know about it. I'm sure only the body will know about it, and if they are caught, then they are going to be punished for that, so anything happening is going to be hidden. All those people making advertisements on social media about selling out fixed matches are just fake. Donít believe all those people, fixed matches wonít be made public.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What ways can a trader raise money? on: May 23, 2024, 08:43:01 PM
If they don't have a source of income to trade, then I would emphasize finding a job first.
How will you be able to trade when you donít have money? Itís not possible. If you want to be a trader, then get yourself a job and save money. After accumulating some reasonable amount of money, you can decide to start trading with the money. Some people always have the wrong orientation about cryptocurrency, they think itís a place where you can just make free money, but things are not like that. If you want to be a trader, you have to first acquire knowledge about trading, then deposit a small amount of money and practice with it. With time, you can increase your money and enjoy your trading.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How active can a newbie be daily? on: May 23, 2024, 08:25:43 PM
My question is what does it mean to be active on the forum,
How many quality Posts can someone make daily before he or she can be considered active on this forum, sorry I ask a lot of questions so u can learn too.
You can be always online on the forum but that doesnít mean you should post always, just always spend time on the forum reading. What it means to be active is just for you to make quality posts whenever you have any contribution to make. Some people might think making so many posts daily on the forum is the definition of being active, but making so many rubbish posts daily doesnít make you active, because your posts are of no use.

You might be making just few posts daily, but make sure the post is really worth it. I wonít tell you the amount of posts you should make in a day to make you active, we are different from each other, and sometimes you might not have much contribution to make to the posts that are available, so the amount of posts you should make depends on you, but make sure those posts are really worth it.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i make some coins that wort something? ??? on: May 22, 2024, 09:30:38 PM
I am begginer with crypto , is there any possibility to earn something?
There are different ways in which you can earn from crypto, but firstly, you have to take your time to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. If you can learn about trading, you can decide to deposit some money into your trading account, and you will be trading and earning. But as a beginner, you have to take your time to learn about trading, itís not something you are just going to jump into, if you do that, you are just going to be losing without earning.
You can also participate in bounties, airdrops, and mining. Actually,  you will find it difficult to find legitimate ones right now, most of them are scams, and the amount some will be paying you isnít really worth it, so I donít really encourage people to go into bounties and airdrops for now. Maybe when we are in bounty season, you will be able to earn some reasonable amount of money.
You can participate in signature campaigns on the forum here, but firstly, you will have to rank up your account, which I know might not really be an easy task for you, but if you are dedicated and want to learn about bitcoin and crypto in general, then ranking up shouldnít be a problem.
If you are talented, then you can also visit the service board, where you can advertise any service you are offering, and anyone who needs your service will contact you for it.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Story of my life on: May 22, 2024, 09:03:03 PM
Yes, I really understand this. It has also happened to so many people I knew, and also happened to me when I am always in the hurry and gambling betting every time  am not even ready or proper planning.
Itís normal that when you are desperate to make money from gambling, you will end up losing more, but when you are calm and you stop thinking about winning when you are gambling, donít be surprised that you might end up winning more. When you are desperate and looking for money, there are things you will see that are wrong, or if you place a bet, you already know you wonít win. But just because you are desperate, you will decide to take the risk. If you are not desperate, then you will be able to take your time to do your analysis.

I keep on losing more and more and it becomes so difficult for me to accommodate so I end up on problem and losing more money but whenever I take my time and credit games properly, I see myself more and more
Then you already know your lapses, so when gambling, just be calm and donít be in a rush. Since when you are calm, you are always winning more, I see no reason why you should be in a rush. I'm sure you wonít be happy when you are losing your money always.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 22, 2024, 08:24:56 PM
If you're a kind of a wise person, you will eventually think that using all of your salary is not a good advice because there's a lot of things may happen in just a snap and in just one wrong move in your bets so it's really up to a person how risk taker and decision maker they are.
How are you going to gamble with all your salary? I donít even think someone with his right senses will do something like that. What if you decide to gamble with all your salary and you lose everything, How are you going to survive for that month? What are you going to feed yourself and your family members with? How are you going to pay your bills? Seriously, the risk is just too high. When gambling, we should know the chances of losing are higher than the chances of winning, so taking that kind of risk doesnít make sense, and I know only addicted gamblers will take risks like that.
