1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchange (PayPal) funds for (BTC) best rates possible. on: December 29, 2020, 11:55:38 AM
Just to clarify, you are accepting Paypal for your Bitcoin, correct?
I'm just unclear on whether you are interested in only exchanging one way or the other.

Not many people are interested in accepting Paypal funds from someone without any reputation, and tons of people won't take Paypal even if it were free.

This post is going to raise more red-flags than it is going to open opportunities.

Thanks for the positivity, for your inquiry I would be trading PayPal funds for BTC.
2  Economy / Currency exchange / Exchange (PayPal) funds for (BTC) best rates possible. on: December 29, 2020, 11:46:50 AM
New Post*

I use preev.com for going rate +5-10% on each individual trade depending on volume and trade amount.

You can telegram me via link https://t.me/PabOTC or simply search @PabOTC via telegram app. ( time is limited, telegram would be the fastest response from myself )

If we've traded before please post a positive message, keep trade details anonymous if possible.

UK traders wanting to work with Bank Transfers and NOT PayPal I need to comply with local AML and KYC regulations. I'm a sole trader operating with National Banks.

Starting this new business with pp ( PayPal) , hoping to gain rep on btt ( Bitcointalk ) and provide a great service to the wider community.

Also can show lbc ( localbitcoins ) account which is older than this btt account, if that means anything. Stats for nerds.
Signing off

I will eat today thank god for Naster. He's a life saver!

So any admins or highly ranked members want to test his trust? I have loads of transaction dealing directly and indirectly with Naster. I hate to see bad rep over a trade gone wrong like who in this industry hasn'thad a bad experienceand lose some funds. I also had problems with Paypal but it doesn't stop my business growing. I hope all parties involved are happy with outcome as s*** happens.

Naster has put food on my table to be honest! He has opened my eyes and learned me some valuable lessons in this game, every deal/trade which we have conducted p2p service no 3rd party involved all on word and trust, It has been completely awesome to have a person like this within our nite community which only grows rapidly, my volume of trade size has been large amounts in total. I can provide any admin or member who has the highest standards of my trades with Nas, Idk what situation these guys are in with Paypal. But to be Frank paypal are the ones doing the messing about most times. This guy seems unprofessional just reading their text, as me and Naster have a great working relationship and the best communication. I hope more clients/partners write some good about our guy here A*++

Never send proof of funds such as bank statements or MT760/MT799 bank guarantees, along with government issued identification such as passports or identity cards. They will be misused.

Scammers will also attempt to scam sums of money incrementally. Never ever send any amount upfront, even if you are presented with tall words or impressive credentials such as a “mandate to sell bulk bitcoin at a ten percent discount” which sounds suspiciously rounded. Bitcoin being volatile and rates often fluctuating between exchanges, I would expect a legitimate trader to carefully consider margins and balance them against the market price.

Hi, I am Robert Hill. Please email me at robert_hill@joshuamutualgoldfund.com. I am mandated to sell bulk bitcoin at a ten percent discount.
Fishy.
Does smell ^^
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New EU Law Will Make it Impossible for Banks to Ban Cryptocurrency-Related Trans on: February 24, 2020, 09:25:03 PM
The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD5) will soon go into effect and it will inadvertently boost the cryptocurrency industry in the EU. Under the new directive, cryptocurrency-related companies will be treated like any other business.

The blockchain sector has always seen regulation as the greatest roadblock. However, the latest installment of anti-money laundering laws in the European Union could change things.

The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD5) was officially signed into law in July 2018 and came into force on Jan 10 of this year. It groups all virtual assets and their providers as ‘obliged entities.’ According to Forbes writer Pawel Kuskowski, this places the cryptocurrency sector in the same legal category as banks, payment processors, gaming, and gambling-related services. In effect, this means that cryptocurrency-related businesses will be treated like any other.

However, the AMLD5 goes further in boosting protections for the cryptocurrency industry. Banks now have to provide valid, individual justification to refuse services to a particular customer. It cannot simply ban services with cryptocurrency-related payment processors or companies. This will mean that millions more will finally be able to purchase virtual assets without bank meddling.

What do you think about this? Also if you want to read the full article where i found the information, you can click on the link below.

Hi guys

My virgin post, be gentle Wink

So let's jump to it.

I represent buyers and am looking to buy BTC in bulk. We can handle as much as you can provide, either on a regular basis or one shot.

Price wise, we typically expect spot price -x to -xx%. If you can't provide a discounted spot rate, this is not for you.

You'll need to be comfortable with things like:
- Escrow OR
- Meet up, we're based in Asia, Singapore
- Providing proof of coins via wallet address / meetup etc. We can provide proof of funds as well.

I understand some sticking points after reading thru some posts. Nobody wants to get scammed or robbed of their coins or funds so it can be done using digital methods initially. We can work out how to move forward in a way everyone is comfortable with.

If you've BTC in bulk to sell, for a start please provide some initial info:
- Amount
- Price
- Contact method

PS: We will have a tech team and lawyers who will be monitoring deals during execution, this may be my virgin post but not our virgin transaction. If you're looking to pull a scam do just pass, there's enough money to be made for everyone with legitimate deals.

PPS: Saw a ton of negative comments & trolls on almost every bulk buy/sell post. Try looking at it from another way, just because you haven't done or don't believe in large private deals doesn't mean they don't exist.

Cheers.
You can contact me via tele @PabOTC for further communication.

Very recent I've traded btc V Pp on Lbc. btc stuck in escrow as payment sent from buyer didn't add up to amount and payment says (On Hold!) but received, I have no control of funds which is -5% difference, should I release or wait till I receive funds/have control.

Lbc say's.
"How am I protected from being scammed?
All online trades are protected by escrow. When a trade is started the amount of Bitcoins for the trade is automatically reserved from the seller's LocalBitcoins Wallet. This means that if the seller runs away with your money and does not release your Bitcoins LocalBitcoins.com support can release the Bitcoins to you from escrow. If you're selling Bitcoins, never release the escrow before you know that you have received money from the Bitcoin buyer."

Thanks in advance for you're advice much appreciated ppl  Roll Eyes
