1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: February 24, 2021, 12:37:52 PM
The easiest way to make money in crypto is through accumulation when crypto bear market begins and most popular projects have lost 95% of their worths or value that's the best time to accumulate and also never get tired of holding because many people are holding since 2018 and later got tired of holding and sold all their coins and tokens, you will need big patience to see this work too
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: February 24, 2021, 12:25:33 PM
BNB is a massive success due to the fact numerous initiatives already developing at the BNB platform and also ethereum is not advisable presently because ETH have high gas fee problem, it will be hard for people to invest in any new projects running on erc20 smart contract
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lolMiner 1.24a: AMD Miner for Ethash / BEAM / GRIN / Ae / Tube / Equihash & more on: February 24, 2021, 12:20:49 PM
Everyone keep talking about this lolminer but whenever I tried using with my rx580 the hashrate is way smaller that what phoenixminer or NB miner is giving me, is there something I don't get with this lolminer?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: find uniswap tokens on: February 23, 2021, 12:12:49 PM
If it's a token it might be invisible in your wallet, that is if the transaction hash says the token is been sent and verified on blockchain too, find the token smart contract address and decimal number and add in manually in your wallet, the token balance will appear after adding
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Error when mining XMR with GPU on: February 23, 2021, 10:25:36 AM
If you can't get the settings for XMRIG software or you can't make GPU work with the miner  then it is better to download nicehash software and mine monero through Nicehash software, it supports XMRIG inbuilt and if far easier to operate for any crypto newbie, by the way the link to images you drop isn't working, I'm getting error 404

Oh sory, I updated link. Thank you for support
Still not working, try using imgur the mobile app is available on playstore, it's very easy to use, also have you tried using Nicehash miner? The software is capable of finding the most profitable altcoin for your GPU and CPU, by the way pls share the name of the graphic card you are using
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ok, GPU on the way, any help building the rest of my gaming/mining rig (canada) on: February 23, 2021, 10:22:35 AM
Hey everyone

Was able to order a 5700xt, it should arrive in 3 days or so.

My current gaming desktop is an old i7 930 with a geforce 750ti, I am thinking of buying/building a new system to house the new 5700xt.

Can anyone help with a parts list I can start ordering for a solid build?  Was thinking amd but im flexible, just looking for a solid build.  Alot of the youtube builds are decent but the prices and items they link are all much higher than when the video was made, if anyone has a good build/parts list with current pricing id appreciate it.

I need everything but the GPU.

Id prefer to buy quality parts, of good build that have either a solid warranty or will last me a long time.  At least for the PSU and the motherboard.  The ram, I am hoping to get 2 sticks for dual channel mode.  Other than that my only other preference would be for future upgradeability of the motherboard (ie, i hope to put a 2nd gpu in there someday when prices/availability comes around so a big enough case and mobo for that)

This rig will be mainly for gaming, and will likely run at least 18 hours a day for the next 3 years+

Any and all efforts spent compiling lists will be greatly appreciated!!!!

The smart buy right now is the Intel 10600KF.  $259 CDN on Newegg, and it's the equivalent (and a little faster in gaming) of the 5600x.  I have a B550/5600X, but if I was buying right now, I'd get the 10600KF as it's almost $400(!?) cheaper than the 5600x.  I'm no fanboy either way.  I had an i5 4670K and after a lot of years with Intel, I switched to the 3600 and now 5600X, but I paid $400 CAD for that.  I paid too much with the price of the 10600KF right now!

For GPU, keep an eye on Memory Express.  I managed to get an EVGA XC3 Ultra 3070 by checking my local stock online several times a day. They are unaffected by bots as you must pay for and pick up your card in store, limit of one per customer per address.  I could have also got a few different 6800's, but went with the 3070 as it was $240 cheaper, and EVGA always makes solid cards.  I already had a Sapphire 5700XT card that I luckily bought new from Newegg for $500 CAD ($380USD) in November before the real stupidity took over.

Don't spend too much on a card right now as crypto prices are tanking.  This may be the end of the 'bull' run...
Well it will be a big disappointment if the bullrun is already over, that's too soon I believe, I've not even get half of my ROI back yet, and there is no how Ethereum mining profitability won't be affected, is memory express a website? Can you drop a link to the website for me? Thanks
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Safe overclocking settings? on: February 22, 2021, 01:55:26 PM
Guys I manage to hit 30mh on a rx580 gpu at 2200 memory clock, I just want to ask if the is a safe overclock number for the GPU memory? Is there anyone running on same memory settings?
This is something you need to figure out on your own, juts because a overclock settings works for someone doesn't mean it will work for you, adjust overclock bit by bit and test for hours, if there is no crashes then you can keep repeating the process to get to max safe zone
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: February 22, 2021, 01:52:39 PM
Crypto bounties = join at your own risk, since bounties are not regulated anything is bound to happen, every bounty hunters should understand that not all projects will do so well or keep their promises, always treat bounties as a side hustle because it's not a guaranteed way of making money, let this sink in
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A friend of me got hacked and lost 3000waves on: February 22, 2021, 01:48:16 PM
Tell your friend to move on and don't expect anyone to help him out, he can lose more money again trying to pursue this lost waves coins, some can even private message you that they can help you get your coins back, this is another trick from scammers, it's better to move on and learn from your mistake
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 400$ per GTX1660 Ti on: February 21, 2021, 01:34:01 PM
Presently is 400$ per gtx1660 Ti a good buy? Now that no one knows how long mining profitability will keep up, is this a good price to buy or I should let go and wait for later? The offer consist of just three of this graphic cards right now, what do you say?

The price is definitely cheaper than in my country (about $500 right now for 1660 Ti). With 1660 ti you can get about 30 Mh/s for each card which can earn you $4/day right now and with that you can hit BEP at about 3-4 months and if you need to buy other part for the mining rig then you'll need more time to break even. Keep in mind that the income right now is very high (it used to be sub $1/day last year and about $2/day early this year) and can decrease as the network difficulty keep increasing, the activity of ethereum network, the talk about EIP 1559, etc. At the end of the day it's your decision whether you are comfortable or not with this kind of risk. You can probably sell the card for $100 if the market crash later and a lot of card flooded the market.
There is no point in selling the card for 100$ when ethereum mining is not profitable anymore, I would advice to keep mining because crypto space is season base, gather the coins in bear market and wait for bull season again, there are many who are now rich because they keep mining Ethereum in 2018 after bears took over the market, now they are in millions, satoshis will be satoshis but value worth us all that matters
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: my first crypto mining rig, on: February 21, 2021, 01:24:53 PM
If the 2x 3070 vs 3x 3060ti cost same amount then I would go for the rtx3060ti, the hashrate is near same thing and with 3x rtx3060ti you will get higher hashrate, higher hashrate means better ROI in a short time
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Dogecoin for what? (I need advice) on: February 21, 2021, 11:12:00 AM
It's pretty hard to tell if Doge will still grow higher or not but there are other altcoins that I'm pretty sure will grow better as fast as the bitcoin bullrun is still up and running, altcoins like avalanche, polkadot, chainlink, BNB, Neo haven't get done yet, I believe they are just getting started
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 20, 2021, 01:08:57 PM
It's the same mentality I always had and that costs me alot in 2017 bull run, I saw my portfolio in big profits but I wasn't satisfied enough, I desired to have more and more until January 2018 when the almighty bloodbath began, now I'm a different man, I take profits and my life have changed since then, greediness is a big disease
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZOTAC GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC as a mining card ?... on: February 20, 2021, 01:02:54 PM
This card is very good, it's energy efficiency I could have buy two RTX3070 instead of buying 4 gtx1660 super, the two RTX will net me 120-124MH at 240 watts while the 4 gtx1660 super is netting me 126MH at 320 watts, as you can see the RTX wins here, less power consumption is what I needed the most because I'm running on solar power
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: February 20, 2021, 12:54:44 PM
I think I need a working bat file for this latest phoenix miner, when I tried to run it I always get error and the funny part is the miner is working through Nicehash software but low hashrate so I would prefer to run things myself and use another pool
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List undervalued tokens or coins to load on: February 17, 2021, 07:41:10 PM
We have Wazirx, OKB, bnb, and many others, even DeFi projects are still considerable for example Polkadot and avalanche project, the choice is many and all you have to do is make your choice, these coins are more safer than projects under top 50-100, do your own research
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is an outdated coin on: February 17, 2021, 07:38:35 PM
Over expectations is what's killing so many investors in crypto space, not long ago a Tron coin costs 0.01 and yesterday this coin hits 0.05$, isn't that 5x already? What more could people hoped for? Not every projects will give you 1000% gains that's so unrealistic expectations
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Windows wallet or regular wallet? on: February 17, 2021, 07:36:45 PM
Windows wallet or not what matters is if the wallet will give you access to your private key or recovery seed, without those keys don't even think about it because someone else is keeping your keys for you doesn't guarantee you will get your coins
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gpu memory error on: February 16, 2021, 12:49:06 PM
Some details are still missing, what Algorithm are you mining? What type of gpu ate you using? If you overclock that can be the issue, try resetting back to factory clock and try again if that solves the problem
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is still profitable to buy an Antminer L3+ in 2021? on: February 16, 2021, 12:42:38 PM
Why not? The bad boy has good hashrates, if you have cheap or free electricity it will make more sense, L3+ has 504MH for scrypt algorithm and that's LTC I believe, the whole Powe draw is just 1600watts, go for it mate
