Bitcoin will never pay dividends  Cry

LIES!

Bitcoin DOES pay dividends its called "Tx Fees"

setup a node and start collecting

I run a full node and don't collect TX fees, only miners do.

Bitcoin will never pay dividends  Cry
Neither does Berkshire

But they might some day. I thought it was even discussed at the stockholders meeting this year.

Thank you for the clarification and correction

I believe that Bitcoin will go up in price at least $1000+ but who knows when? Until the market stabilizes and Gov'ts become more educated on BTC more traditional investors and merchants will continue to shy away

We also need more ideas on what this coin can actually be used for we either need way more people willing to rent out their rigs for ASC or find a distributor willing to accept it as payment for ASICS.......in fact I can fulfill that need I will start sel ling Gridseed orbs for ASC on the forums here.....ok so we need to come up with hard targets for max coins payout rate and halving schedule I'm thinking 210 million coins (x10 the amount of bitcoins) premine or no premine? Premine would be used for nothing other than initial bankrolling of ASICS to sell for ASC I.e. A buildup of ASC infrastructure. Payout of 102.4 initial per block halving at block 50,000 etc etc or does somebody have a better idea because I'm open to it

Thanks Mark!
Well I can finance this whole endeavor if I so choose I just wanted this to be a community project because not much point in forking a coin nobody wants or supports. I think a slightly better approach will be for me to start offering my SHA-256 miners for rent strictly payable in ASC and at the same time collaborating with a dev ASC payable or not the dev will just be a sub contractor for myself anyway so as long as I support the coin it doesn't matter if the dev does or not because if he does unsatisfactory work then I can refuse payment until he fixes it

Of course since the IRS has no way to monitor the trading arm of BTC yet you could just try not reporting it lol

Well we need more people then just the three of us and I haven't written up any contracts yet because I felt that was putting the cart before the horse so to speak we need to get enough people behind this before we actually get a dev

Escrow Services from multiple reputable Escrow Agents are available such as Maidak, Escrow.ms, OGNasty, and Vod that have already confirmed they are available to facilitate a smooth transaction.

Yup very much so I would more agree with BTC being income instead of capital gains but OP needs to look up tax brakets either he's an idiot that regurgitates misinformation from the reaches of the web or a jaded rich bastard that's never paid under the 40% bracket either way I am not a fan
918  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 12, 2014, 12:08:55 AM
Not a problem I apologize for getting a bit defensive, no hard feelings?
919  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 11, 2014, 11:57:40 PM
I even extended the auction time to allow you time to reply to either correct your bid or rescind it, obviously my generosity and patience has been misconstrued as weakness or unfairness and I am sorry if that is how you took it but you did not bid the STARTING bid if you would like to work out some sort of amicable deal then please feel free to PM me and I will be more than happy to try to come to a compromise with you that leaves us both happy
920  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] CryptoVest Special First Edition Physical Litecoin LOADED With 2 LTC!! on: May 11, 2014, 11:50:08 PM
How do you not understand the difference between a STARTING Bid and the MINIMUM bid? Any auction house you go to has a STARTING bid and then a MINIMUM bid after said STARTING bid has been reached which I stated and you even quoted Starting bid of 0.125 a minimum bid of 0.01 so as to keep ridiculous bids like 1 satoshi from flooding the auction as soon as the STARTING bid has been reached if I am sorry if you are mad that you cannot work around the stated prices but I even offered to work with you and accept a starting bid of 0.1
