I have lots of risers , also have a few PSU's if your interested.
If they're USB risers and the price is right, yeah. same here. Ive got 3-4 USB risers and two x16 ribbon risers located in toronto. also PSUs (including a few 1200W-1350W gold ones with original packaging) Drop me a quote for the usb risers, if you're so inclined.

Yeah something like that however the neighbours can probably see all that so I am looking for something a little more private.
Something to exhaust the heat thru a vent hose.
So using my frame built out of the wire shelf; I put it against the wall and i'm pushing the hot air toward the window. Here is a rough idea for that setup which is effectively the same as mine; 12kW to 6.6kW Yellow is temporary "wall" personally i'm using acoustic panels where i can. Green is the GPU area which would be one wire shelf with multiple levels. Arrow is airflow. The opening is ideally a huge window that fit 20" fans or bigger or a doorway. Mine fit 18"*44* so i'm good for two boxfan and i'm dumping upward of 10kW outside. From the outside you see 2 box fan and thats it.

Somebody should post some custom GPU frames where you can exhaust the heat outside. Never mined in the summer before with GPUs.
I think you could build a open rectangle and stuff the whole lineup with 20inch box fan. From there i'm not sure, you'd need a massive amount of airflow. Maybe push the air into an attic or something, and have some massive CFM metal fan as in and out? After adding support beams to my wire shelf, i was thinking of pushing all the hot air to one side of the room(side with open window) and have positive pressure in the apartment so the air would all rush out from the open window. For the noise and directing the airflow i was thinking of using acoustic panels to form the "rectangle" i mentioned.

I purchased a copy of ethOS and its a 16gb image on my Mac hard drive.
I have a spare 120Gb SSD. I have a spare rig for testing too. So ready to rock and roll.
How do you start getting the image into a bootable OS on the SSD?
Any step by step guide for me? All my rigs are on Win8.1...
thanks!
You just buy another copy with the digital download option. Instructions; http://ethosdistro.com/kb/or just copy the SSD image to the other drive? (unless you believe 1 purchase=1 license) 1 Purchase = 1 License for one rig.

...how me saying GPU come with their own proprietary overclocking software mean you're going to not use that one... = breaking ToS. You're changing your tune every single time. Either OC break ToS or it doesnt. You keep adding and removing condition to justify your logic.
Gimmick: selling replacement plans, when its already going to be replaced with the warranty for no additional cost.
You are not offering any price and i doubt you could sell under retail price since you're buying at a premium price on top of retail. But i'll give you the benefit of the doubt with what you can actually sell at what price.
And i'll do you a favor and just leave you alone. Talking to you is like talking to a wall, and you dont get a single thing i say so you think i'm spouting random things. I think there is no point in further discussion and its not like anyone is actually confused about what you are (not) offering here.

That's not CUSTOM....its literally an off the shelf product...I'm asking for custom made ones. Thanks. Oh i'm sorry. How do you plan on taking a wire rack and mounting GPUs on it "off the shelf"? I used a rack as base. You used a aluminium sheet. Thats as far as it take you. What do you do after that? They're both as much "off the shelf" as the other. I have those rig frame exactly like your's, its as simple as assembling legos. There is a lot more DIY involved in using wire shelves as base. Are you interested in having, actual, constructive conversation on how people built their frames to mount mobo, psu and GPUs or are you just trying to show off your copy pasta rig and verbally attack people who are more open minded than you?

I found a solution I can increase intensity and use instead of 2 gpu just one and it works. "gpu-threads" : "2", changed to "gpu-threads" : "1",
Thats threads. Its very demanding on a GPU and generally a marginal hash gain. For gaming you could probably use xI 6 to 40.

Just for a little bump this warranty covers most broken pieces as long as you didn't dismantle yourself. Not going to go into what manufacturer's will cover or not that is up to you to look at there official terms and or to believe a so-called message between a person and a representative.
Most countries I can sell to you pay shipping also if anyone wants to know if this is true we will setup an escrow for them to verify as I will give them the info of who/where I'm going through.
Also this warranty is fully transferable even tho it's in house but that just ensures that there can never/or will be a problem.
Yes... the EVGA's official FAQ is merely a"so called message". Its not a message its the official FAQ. Lol, please stop spamming I added the official link that clearly states any 3rd party clients to adjust the video card voids warranty and any damages to the card voids the warranty as well. Thanks You know the GPU come with their own overclocking software. Right? Thats not 3rd party. And physical damage is physical damage, not components burning out due to heat. Components burning out = something. Physical damage = something else. You're in the computer hardware section anyways, not the service section (You're trying to offer a service, from a gimmick/ripoff shop to people). So if you actually want to go through with this, you're still posting in the wrong section.

I wonder what happened with their 110TH/s units. The SP50.
Maybe by the time they sold them, they had devalued too much because their production time could not keep up with our Chinese friends?

I have $10,000-15,000 to invest into Bitcoin/altcoin mining. I'd love for someone who's very experienced in the field to give me the hardware and shit that I can get for $10,000 and $15,000. I tried doing it myself but couldn't get around it. I'd probably go even up to $20,000 if that's something I'd need to make profit. Please do include cooling in the price. Thanks a lot!
There is more to it then just cooling. You need a proper location with electricity wired, most likely 240 with this amount of miners. Do you have an area wired for lots of watts of electricity? What is your electricity price... as really it comes down to that. Also without knowing location it's hard to do cooling as don't know if you will be doing with CFM's or Evaporation. It highly depends on location. So your asking kinda the impossible without knowing a lot more information. I've taken care of location. Our price is $0.09/kWh That is very very high, you'd get better prices hosting the miners at remote Datacenters.

Hi guys,
what is the sweet spot in terms of frequency/Watts for the S5 ?
I need to put 4xS5 and 4xS3+ on a 16A line and they're using slightly over 17A at default freq(S5:350, S3+:250) so I need to underclock them a bit...
If you are just changing the Frequency and not the Voltage then the efficiency is virtually constant at all Frequencies, so just turn it down to whatever level you want. Rich Ok, is there a table somewhere with a summary of freq + power usage ? I've not found anything yet ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1151326.0The clock i settled with at the time was 393 for 1.30~1.31TH/s on most S5's.

Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Is elgius a good mining pool to join?

I want to join a mining pool and Elgius seemed like a good choice. I don't have very good mining hardware, I mine from a PC, but I heard that mining pools are the way to go if you don't have special mining equipment. I'm a beginner and want to know if Elgius is a good starter pool. I've read a few reviews about it.
You need special equipment to get in a pool. Even the multi millions setup use pools.

Not really, shipping costs are way too high.
Yes I can understand you. Shipping is always going to be high for these. I don't know why I even bothered to post them for sale here. Maybe when you unplug them, shipping to Gatineau would be doable? Dunno. Maybe undervolted SP20 would make for silent heater as well, but better efficiency, gah.
