Nice help wanted post. It's pretty detailed. I could definitely help out with marketing but I am not seeing any mentioning of compensation, just instructions to PM you. Would it be safe to assume that you are not going to be paying in spendable money for the work you are expecting? Is this an equity type arrangement? If you have a marketing budget, you may PM me any time. I won't pitch it here but I do own a licensed and registered marketing/copywriting/PR company. I'd be glad to discus. I just don't provide services for tokens or equity. I have to keep the lights on.

Don't worry we don't issue tokens or crypto-currency, so compensation in tokens is just not possible Grin as for equity and direct monetary payment it is discussed individually because our budgets are tight, but not zero Wink so it's all about finding the right balance of service + compensation + equity. And I will DM you. Thank you also very much for your interest!

I am interested in joining a project like yours.

As tester, ideas, community manager or connections with other teams.

I have helped an exchange before for more than a year. Was a very interesting job. Many of my ideas and bug finding was used. I helped building the brand and community.

Working from European time zone.

In my signature is link to page about me. Or we can chat on Telegram @JanEmil

Hello Jan, I am very sorry for such a late response. Was very busy with the existing team to develop the platform and doing some basic marketing, as well as negotiating with potential large traders who would use derivatives initially. I will surely contact you, and we really appreciate your positive feedback!

Hello everyone, would like to write a short review of Jambler’s Seller / (Investor) experience.

Tried investing 0.1 BTC on August 24, 2019 and received the return of 0.1 BTC + 1% as was promised on September 4, 2019.

Glad to see that its reliable, and will continue using the service.

However, I have few recommendations to improve user experience:
1)   The “Demand for BTC” indicator is confusing by showing the green battery it implies that the demand is high, and investment should be returned quickly. However, when actually investing, the investment bot in Telegram actually does display the message that the demand is low, and it might take >48 hours for returning the investment.
2)   When depositing BTC to investment account, Telegram bot does show a message that it identified an incoming transaction, but actually will need to wait 1-2 days for the balance to be displayed in the investment account (which is worrying for new investors).
3)   The team while being very responsive and helpful in answering all questions is clearly too busy, so it would be helpful if there would be a special 24/7 support.
4)   It would be really helpful if there would be an option to change the BTC address for receiving back the investment, but it’s not that significant.
5)   After few days of investment BTC Seller account shows a button for withdrawing investment + 1% (and such balance is displayed there), however it does not work as the team said it is for Partner’s account. So, it should either be removed, or should be “on” for investors too (as the team said funds can be withdrawn if message them and really need to receive it back asap).

So overall, the service is good and reliable, and for sure will continue using it, but the usability improvements would be really helpful Wink

You might find better chances if you post this thread in Project Development[1] or Services[2] if you want to pay them with BTC. A lot of copywriters also post their services thread over there.

Thank you very much for advise - quite new in posting here, so didn't know a better place. Will do as you suggested Smiley

Bitcointalk is where you get investors and leads and why did not take time to study how this forum works, you should have got an account here first and communicate to the community before launching or building your team for your ICO.

This goes to all planning to launch their ICO include Bitcointalk to your plan do not make it your last options because this is where you are likely to launch your ICO and do bounty campaign.

Actually if you read carefully - we don't do and will not do ICO/IEO/etc., nor there will be bounty campaign in "crypto-sense". But as the first assets that will be used for securitisation are crypto-assets, the forum and local community are very relevant. But surely your advise is valuable, and I appreciate it. In fact the decision to post here was made based on several other projects looking for partners and new team members which posted in the current thread, so we followed their example. But as you guys advise maybe they also posted in the wrong place Smiley

Reposting here as was suggested by one of the members Smiley

Hello everyone, I am the founder of Alter Securities. At Alter Securities, we develop new financial instruments and innovative technology to improve market efficiency, expand investment opportunities set, and enhance investors’ risk-return profiles. We aim for open, global financial system that is efficient, accessible and accommodates all investors. Currently we are looking for team members and project partners, but first let me introduce what and why we are doing Smiley

Why the project was created:
Currently there are many exchanges, OTC marketplaces and various markets for derivatives, however, the professional ones are inaccessible for individual investors. More traditional ones and well-known fail to offer tools for efficient risk-return optimization. Therefore, initially we are building an OTC market accessible to everyone, where innovative instruments will be offered. For fast launch, we will offer derivatives based on digital assets and crypto-currencies, but it will evolve to include other alternative assets too (real estate, fund shares, insurance products, structured products, etc.)

Initial offering by Alter Securities:
Currently, our premier offering for internally developed OTC platform is Tranched Value Security (TVS) - a patented financial instrument which allows investors to transform risk-return profile of their underlyings in previously unavailable ways. You can think of mortgage-backed securities, however they were backed by multiple assets / cash-flows, while TVS allows backing and risk-return transformation with a single asset.

Why the current offering is suitable for the market:
The initial offering as was mentioned earlier will be targeting derivatives and new financial products for crypto-currencies. There are already many exchanges offering spot trading, and only few offer derivatives… But even the ones that offer derivatives offer only futures & forwards, options, and perpetual contracts. NOTHING MORE! Which is a problem, as crypto-market participants aimed to make it a truly innovative industry, but fail to implement the latest financial innovation. Therefore, we will not offer futures, options and perpetuals for the moment, but rather will focus on what is not in the market!

Currently done:
•   Company registered
•   Marketing plan developed
•   Finishing Beta version of OTC market (will be ready by the end of September)
•   Negotiating with initial liquidity providers (interested parties already ready to commit $1M for the first period)
•   Applied for patenting Tranched Value Securities instrument

Next steps:
•   Increase initial order book for Beta phase
•   Increase brand awareness
•   Maintain marketing
•   Improve platform security and functionality
•   Build a community
•   Raise additional funds if needed
•   Partner with alternative investment platforms (for example CrowdEstate, SeedInvest, Fundable, etc.) to securitize their investor base’s holdings and issue derivatives
•   Partner with crypto-exchanges and institutional funds to securitize their holdings
•   Develop new product offerings for crypto-market, such as Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Credit Default Obligations (CDO), Volatility Swaps, Cat Bonds for Crypto-Assets, Traded Endowment Policies (TEPs), and Viatical Settlements

Current team:
Distributed internationally (China, Russia, Turkey, UAE, UK)
•   Nikolay Zvezdin | Founder | Experienced in PE/VC investments, VC portfolio management

9  Economy / Scam Accusations / BCTV, ExShell, BQEX - Scam or Unprofessional Business? on: August 15, 2019, 03:31:36 AM
Hello everyone, wanted to get your opinions on whether this exchange is legit or scam?

The main company is: https://www.bctv.world

Which operates:
www.exshell.hk
www.exshell.tw
www.bqex.hk
www.bqex.tw

According to the contract offered by CEO, “The Exchanges have an aggregate user base of circa 750,000 investors and daily trading volume of circa USD100 million.

So with these claims questions come:
1)   With such volumes, the exchange(s) should be in top50-60 globally by volume, which means someone should have had some reviews/experience/questions, but there’s nothing about the exchanges.
2)   With such volumes the exchange should be on coinmarketcap and other aggregators, but you will not find it anywhere.
3)   On bqex exchanges fiat (OTC) sections totally don’t work; as per CEO’s comment – its due to Chinese regulation of fiat-crypto deals. But that doesn’t stop well-known coincola to operate fiat-crypto for several years already.
4)   Not able to register on exshell from PC (didn’t try phone) for several weeks (and still cannot).
5)   No reviews of any of these exchanges on Bitcointalk.
6)   Checking traffic via Alexa, and SimilarWeb – there are (!) zero (!) results… which shouldn’t be the case for exchanges with “aggregate user base of circa 750,000 investors”.
7)   The user agreement on https://www.exshell.hk states the date of 25/10/2018, however the domain is registered only on 14/12/2018 (2 months later)
Cool   With such volumes and userbase it's strange that there are only 2 android app reviews (one of which is 1 star out of 5), and 0 for iOS app.
9)   Social media for exshell:
a.   In WeChat there are around 200 views per article
b.   In Twitter there are 136 followers and 0-2 activities for each post
c.   In Facebook there are 40 followers with 0 likes for each post
d.   In Telegram there are 14k group members with little activity from members and mostly posts from admin, and a lot of posts from deleted accounts
10)   Social media for bqex:
a.   In WeChat there’s no official channel but rather a personal account
b.   In Twitter – the account doesn’t exist anymore
c.   In Facebook there are 150 followers with 0 likes for each post
d.   In Telegram there are 530 group members with posts from admin, spam from members and a lot of new members joining the group with subsequently deleted accounts

So with such results here comes a question, if the operating company and exchanges are scam or just very unprofessional in doing their business and 750k users just didn't check what they trade on?
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM??? on: August 10, 2019, 07:15:51 AM
on francex.in it even states that they had ICO Grin "Francoin ICO, First drop finished, Funding the second" not sure if anyone here heard of it
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM??? on: August 10, 2019, 06:46:25 AM
Maybe you can check out a thread of Jamber.io which was created here by one of the owners, i think; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4667343.0
You can read through to get a clear picture of the discussion.

As for francex.in, i have never heard of it. if the website or service is brand new... don't waste time with it.

Yes, I also think that whatever you find from darknet is "more likely than not" to be a scam. And when I was also checking Jamber I also didn't find any actual feedbacks from investors. The thread is mostly from user side and only few ppl asked questions about investors, but didn't really say if they tried investing there.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Idea of exchange platform on: August 06, 2019, 10:49:39 AM
I have an idea of a exchange platform that can help the exchange increase the amount of users and transaction volumes. But now I don't have the financial resources to implement it.
Should I contact a exchange and sell the idea to them?
Can you give me a comment?

You can message me, we are actually developing a new type of trading venue and could cooperate with you.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Feedback on New Financial Derivative on: August 06, 2019, 10:35:42 AM
Hello guys, initially this post appeared in Economics section, but since there was no reply I assume it might be more appropriate in trading section.

Basically, we are launching a startup (it's not a promotion post - just looking for feedback) – OTC marketplace of innovative financial instruments, new types of derivatives and alternative assets. The ultimate goal is to allow investors to better execute risk management and achieve the desired financial performance.

Our first product will be Tranched Value Security (patent pending). And we would be grateful for any review or feedback you might have about this. We are still developing the marketplace (expected to be in Beta launch in September) and your feedback would really help us.

To minimize compliance burden, we will start with crypto assets, and later will add other underlying assets.

The Tranched Value Security (TVS) works in a concept similar to Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) and Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) in particular. Whereas ABS and MBS securitize a pool of assets or asset’s cash flows, split them and sell as separate tranches to investors, TVS follows a similar procedure, but rather than securitizing an asset / cash-flow base, it securitizes a value! So, the underlying can be a single asset value, a portfolio, a cash flow or any other investible asset.

To give you a brief example, imagine that today BTC costs $100, and you securitize it and issue 2 TVSs, where TVS-Senior has a claim on 50% of BTC market value OR $50 fixed; and the TVS-Junior has a claim on the rest of BTC value (50%) OR $50 fixed, ONLY IF TVS-Senior’s claim was satisfied, OR whatever left after TVS-Senior’s claim. It implies that if BTC goes up to $150 – TVS-Senior can claim 50% of market value (as its > than $50 fixed), and so does TVS-Junior. But if BTC market value declines to $80, TVS-Senior can claim $50 (as its greater than 50% of BTC value), while TVS-Junior can only claim $30. With subsequent increase in BTC value – TVS-Senior’s return will be slightly less than BTC’s return, but TVS-Junior’s return will be significantly greater than even BTC’s.

Of course that is just an example, and all variables can vary – asset can be different, number of TVSs can be different, they can be perpetual or with maturities, % and $ value claims can be different, and overall it can be highly customizable upon investor’s needs.

What it gives you is that in the case if you want to reduce downside exposure – you securitize and sell Junior TVSs to others, and if you are very certain of upside potential or have ability to hold Junior TVSs – you can buy cheaply a portfolio of Junior TVSs and earn significant returns.

This is pretty much it. And TVS is just a first instrument that we intend to implement on the marketplace (already have working papers for other instruments too). If you would like to learn more about TVS, you can visit our web-site at: https://www.altersecurities.com, http://as.exchange, or see the entire research paper at: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3337692#

Any kind of constructive feedback is welcome guys! And thanks in advance!
14  Economy / Economics / Re: How many months left until recession? on: August 05, 2019, 02:59:44 PM
Isn't it much more worrying the interest didn't reach it's precious high before they start reducing it again? I see a overall decline in peaks, doesn't that mean the economic boom was less strong than the previous one?

Yes, they have little firepower to fight recession. Many believe this will be the last recession and after it economists will forget about Keynes and revive Hayek. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0nERTFo-Sk Economy is not as strong as in early 2000 because recession of 2008 was never really cured.

As somebody said: when everyone talks about upcoming crisis - there will be no crisis, but when everyone forgets about it - crisis will come. I might be quoting it wrong, but I also believe that nowadays as literally everyone knows about economic problems, everyone is prepared and tries to mitigate it - there is little chance of significant recession occurring. Temporary minor decline - possible, but not recession. And surely the countdown is not for months, but rather for few years.

When you have no weapons to fight it does not matter much if you know the enemy is at the gates. Just look at the graph. Normal interest rates should be from 2-5% and crisis used to start when were above 5%. Now are at 2% and in Europe at zero.

"Normal interest rates" - that's the issue with such logic. What used to be normal decades ago - not anymore, what was normal ages ago - not anymore. So the case with interest rates. So who said low interest rates are bad? Books or academicians? Well I guess if they would be so successful in economic planning and management - they would be the ones running the current economy Wink People live and predict collapse and recession already for at least 3-4 years as I remember. Every year new prophets come with their prediction of soon to collapse markets. But we just continue to see ATHs. So isn't is the new normal? If you wanna argue the interest rates then yes, the system itself is designed in such a way that credit collapses and grows will occur, but not necessarily because of too low or too high interest rates. There need to be many other factors to come into play (productivity, unemployment, social factors, and many others), or just one a major one (such as Lehman was, and now everyone expects Deutsche to be), but until then - prophets will continue forecasting recessions in the next X months/years, but nothing will change significantly without major disruption, as long as everything keeps going the way it is.

兄弟,我要告诉你:香港属于中国

你是对的! 香港属于中国,现在属于中国,永远属于中国。

You're in the international section so you should speak English for them to understand what's your thoughts.
This is a discussion thread so we're hoping to have a discussion with you also.

Your post might get deleted.

Thank you, will keep it in mind next time. And the messages are simply about pointing our that HK belongs to China. In any case it was historically like this, and currently like this. But anyways here is not a place to talk about politics. In the end we are all here for the same goal and reasons - innovation, and innovation does not have borders. As for affect of tensions on HK price, I shared my opinion above that it might contribute to volatility, but not to any significant price change as ppl who need crypto - already have it since long time ago.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong kong and China war can lead to possible Bitcoin popularity on: August 04, 2019, 01:25:44 PM
The impact on BTC price will be minimal if any. People in China and HK who wanted to invest in BTC, already did so long time ago, and with increased volatility in capital markets in the region, its very unlikely that pension funds or insurance companies will all of a sudden switch to BTC from bonds and stocks Grin therefore, I would say impact on BTC from this particular event is: increased volatility? - yes, a little; significant price change? - no. In the end of the day HK was Chinese and will be, so nothing new, just a bunch of people thinking that by protesting they can get USA help them out, while in the end of the day they live in buildings and drive the cars that are funded by Chinese money.

A better investment thesis in such situation would be shorting HK stocks or loading puts on HK stocks Wink

Any kind of constructive feedback is welcome guys! And thanks in advance!
