I lost close to 80% on this coin when I invested in 2017, any regrets? NO! I learnt a lot from Gulden as my first crypto. Thank fuck I did sell or I would be over 95% loss with todays prices. Most people invested in this coin because of the emotion it stirred up for some of us in the Netherlands which gave this blockchain some value, mainly emotional value. With the new name the emotional value is gone.
Yes, Munt name won't work as no effort is done. Gulden needs less effort to make a success because of the name. Rijk does not like to work and Malcolm announce his leaving no work will be done. |

The forever down coin, I liquidated my position on this trash long ago. Useless leadership that doesn't take solid advice from people who know how markets work.
There was no incentive for Rijk to make the 2 coins a success as he comes from a rich family. His dad is a well known lawyer in my country and Plasman family is well off. Control was more important then success, although he preached no control , the actions was all control. Gulden and Florin failing = Rijk still has a good life which is why he didn't work hard for the coins success and expected others to do the work, but no community works when a premine is in place because it is expected for the owner of the premine and other rewards to make the coin a success. This combination of Rijk not needing the coin to be a success and the community hesistant to do work because of the premine was always going to equal failure in the end. Here we are. Yes rijk dad is rich and can support his family. Rijk wanted the community to work on promoting gulden while he paid malcolm for development with the community money from buying premine and the dev rewards and rijk is wise not to use his dads money to support crypto if it does not work , if you rich already why would you risk losing a lot of money if you dont know it will work. I sold gulden long ago so i can be open about my thoughts. |

Gulden needs another Nocks.
It's difficult to start a successful service like Nocks, I tried to get GRS listed on Nocks because of all features it came with that the GRS team could of used effectively in the wallets. MaNi did some good work on the Gulden wallets with Nocks. Is blockhut only selling premine or upgraded to Nocks status? Blockhut is only for selling the premine and from the devs PoV that is all they need. It will never be another Nocks, forget that dream. You can buy all the coins you want on blockhut and the value won't move. Florin and Gulden (named to Munt) are stuck unless another Nocks adds Gulden. For the Dev team no incentive to sell anything other then the premine. The costs of running a brilliant service locks Nocks is not cheap and it requires good skills that Roel and his team had. Yes. |

Munt must be left to die and team only focus on Florin. No one is buying the Munt premine and the Gulden nft or put the Gulden nft on the florin blockchain.
I have downloaded other wallets like metamask and the industry has passed centure in developing because working on 2 blockchains slows development.
Rijk also has no investment in MUNT besides selling the premine and he said he only has Florin. Blockhut will only be a service for selling the premine and no hope of ever buying off bittrex as no skills like Roel in the team.

I am quite bullish on MUNT, the entire supply is only worth 88 bitcoin and the inflation is only 25 coins per block every 2.5 minutes, this dropped from 160 per block in the last 2 years. This is the same block times as litecoin and litecoin has 12.5 coins per block. Munt has far better blockchain innovation compared litecoin and litecoin has a $5.2 billion marketcap.
The main problem for this coin is accessibility for the average person trying to invest in crypto. Why is it difficult for blockhut to plug into the exchange API like many other services to buy coins directly off the exchanges?
I respect Malcolm and Rijk because they keep Munt - Gulden going with all the bad bear markets. A lot of coins I invested in the devs and founders have run off, no matter how bad the price is this team keeps going and gives users more trust. We lost Roels and Patrick skills or they could of helped with blockhut to buy coins direct off bittrex but maybe one day we get more people with those skills. They weren't part of the Gulden team but made a nice service called Nocks. This was the glory days of Gulden. |

Good price call. Could go even lower really. Would love XFL at around $30. Just 6 months ago it was less than 5 euro so yeah, still possible. As for Gulden, there needs to be waaay more love and compatibility-minded thinking between the Florin and Gulden projects honestly. Marketed together as a complete store of value/nextgen payment/NFT platform instead of separated/disparate/competing projects would make for a much, much better potential ecosystem for more users and developers to start taking an interest. The price was too high for the amount of coins earned a day compared to the buy support. |

I would prefer it if Rijk dropped Gulden and focus on Florin because he doesn't do a lot of work himself and if you lazy its better to put time into one coin. Florin investors are lucky for now because Rijk does not have Gulden but if he creates a new Gulden what will his new favorite coin be?
Rijk has worked harder for Florin in the last 6 months then the 8 years for Gulden. He got investors for Florin but chased away rich investors for Gulden. I don't own any of these 2 coins and I won't buy Gulden because it's the child Rijk does not want. Florin under 50 I will buy because Rijk is dedicated to it. Month 4 and BramVee is still waiting for Florin under 50 lol That Rijk worked harder for Florin is BS. That rich investors dont want to invest in Gulden is just basic economics. They didnt become rich investors because they have bad business sense. If you spend 100.000 in Gulden today , your investment will be worth 50.000 tomorrow. Btw you have a discussion to do with Realist because he claims the investors arent rich. 59 , my experience is helping. A few years ago I was one of the idiots buying at the high prices. Mining dumps are destroying the buy orders. 40 mining coins earned a day. |

I sold too early with the ATH @2mil sat. Coin is almost 90% down in price, I will start buying again under 50. If, as has been established they are both technically the same, then the updates and developments on one coin can be copied over to the other. So, no issue there.
The issue is that the dev reward for NLG takes up 72% of every block reward ever since the supply cuts and there has not been a lot to show for it other than another coin without such a massive subsidy.
