There was a recent news that Shiba killed dogecoin and enters in top 10. What best to expect from it.At present, Shiba Inu is ranked as the world’s ninth largest crypto, while Dogecoin is ranked tenth, as per CoinMarketCap on. Shiba Inu popularity has reached unprecedented levels. Its historic price gains have turned its ardent followers into millionaires. On 23 October, it gained about 21% when it was priced at US$0.00003385. It rose further to US$0.00004778 on 26 October and peaking at US$0.00007156 on 1 November. However, the meme crypto’s dream run could eventually pause as Shiba Inu is equipped with numerous flaws. One such drawback is its ability to process transactions, which would hamper its value in the long run.https://kalkinemedia.com/news/cryptocurrency/shiba-inu-killed-dogecoin-enters-top-ten

Investing in Bitcoin can be a smart move if the investor is aware of the volatility involved and does not panic and make rash decisions when there is a sudden dip. Recent events across the globe have caused the world’s largest digital currency to fluctuate heavily, leading investors to question its future vitality.Experts advise that no more than 5% of an investor’s portfolio should be tied up in cryptocurrency(news source: kalkinemedia.com)
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do I invest in cryptocurrency or coinbase COIN on: April 16, 2021, 09:45:17 AM
This time crypto is actually trading at great heights. Prices are growing like rockets. Recently,Ripple’s XRP token has grown more than doubled to US$ 1.96 per piece in the past one week. It is an eye-popping recovery for Ripple since 2018. The coin is glittering again, up 100 per cent up against its 52-week low of US$ 0.1742. Also, Elon Musk’s favorite meme-based cryptocurrency Dogecoin has recorded a new all-time high of US$ 0.145308, soaring over 28 per cent in the past 24 hours. Whereas Ethereum has been trading in a range of US$2,298.78 to US$2,486.87 in the last 24 hours, with a one-day volume of US$ 42.14 billion. Its current market cap stands at US$283.45 billion and it is still down 1.76 per cent from its all-time high.
Its really a great question for all of us: https://kalkinemedia.com/news/cryptocurrency/is-it-a-good-time-to-invest-in-dogecoin-xrp

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit 1 trillion dollars marketcap on: March 24, 2021, 05:31:03 AM
Inflation concerns have again started to creep into the minds of market participants. It's intriguing that they are now eyeing bitcoin as a way to avoid the risks of weaker purchasing power. But according to some experts, it is better to look somewhere else to catch up with inflation.
The recent debate of Bitcoin VS gold has also challenged and tried to threaten gold’s throne.
Hardcore Bitcoin enthusiasts say cryptocurrencies is the world’s best hedge against inflation. The underlying premise being, unlike U.S. dollars or any other fiat currency, it’s programmed to have a limited supply. Therefore, their purchasing power is bound to rise to catch up with inflation. https://www.kalkinemedia.com/news/cryptocurrency/can-bitcoin-serve-as-an-effective-balm-for-inflation-injuries

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit 1 trillion dollars marketcap on: March 15, 2021, 11:54:08 AM
Blockchain technology and crypto assets started gaining prominence again. After the previous high of US$58,300 odd levels in February 2021, Bitcoin had taken a decent correction of around 25 per cent. The optimism has fueled the recent push to the record high after US President Joe Biden signed a massive US$1.9 trillion economic relief package. No wonder bitcoin hit $61000 today and performed well over the weekend but  before the end of the day it is pulling back 2% to trade around $58,070 on Monday. 12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better option for trading Bitcoin or stocks ? on: August 19, 2019, 11:14:40 AM
As I am a stock market investor, I would suggest you invest in stocks rather than bitcoins. The main reason is that firstly, bitcoin is a virtual currency with no physical existence and secondly, one cannot predict the market movement when it comes to cryptocurrency. Recently, in the month of June, we came across news Bitcoin Crashes By ~24% Post Outage In The Cryptocurrency Market (You can read complete news here: https://kalkinemedia.com/2019/06/28/bitcoin-crashes-by-24-post-outage-in-the-cryptocurrency-market/)  which was a huge loss in the cryptocurrency market.  Thirdly, it is not at all supported by any of the governments globally. Once any government initiates the step for bitcoin legalization then we can think of investing in it with safe and secure results.
Whereas in stock markets you can at least study the market flow and invest accordingly depending upon the news. So it is much safer to invest in the stock market.
