There is this one line install on monero.cc. However i when you try to compile it it wont work because of different CPUs in digital ocean. This can be fixed easily by compiling for corei7. But when i tried i got an error about virtual memory that i didnt bypass. I was using 2GB RAM though and maybe with bigger it will eventually compile. Also i wouldnt mine directly to an exchange! cd ~ && rm install_monero.sh && wget https://ottrbutt.com/monero/install_monero.sh && bash install_monero.sh Yeah I got the same thing on my VPS running that script. When I run it on another PC it got through that part. But cmake still complains about boost not being the correct version. Have you tried getting the simplewallet to work? It's a binary so you don't have to compile it. Unfortunately I cannot get to run either. No i havent. Maybe i will try tomorrow. What problem do you have with it?

Somebody on Polo trollbox says the 80% premined BCN were destroyed. Verify anyone?
80% of the coins have already been mined. Coin is allegedly being mined for 2 years but there is no announcement anywhere on the internet, clearnet or not, not even any news before i think march or april. You decide.P.S. 2 years with devs not building a gui, a open source pool or exchange. And simpleminer was reported to be intentionally slow. All of those MRO made in a month just saying...

I registered an Alias yesterday. The Daemon said it would be added to the blockchain but I don't see it on the Network State page, and when I try to use it from the wallet I get an error. Is there something more I need to do?
I registered one a few days ago, and also do not see it on Network State page. What's up with this? You have to find a block after you set it to be committed to the blockchain, or else it won't be committed to the blockchain. I think that you also have to do it on every daemon you are mining with and not only at the one where you have the wallet in which you are mining...

any stats on how profitable different CPUs are?
I dont think something exists. Maybe somewhere around the topic some people have posted. Hey Greek, could you make a guide on how to install the wallet on Ubuntu/Debian? Specifically compiling this wallet: https://github.com/monero-project/bitmoneroOr is it possible to mine directly to an exchange? I think not since they require a payment ID. There is this one line install on monero.cc. However i when you try to compile it it wont work because of different CPUs in digital ocean. This can be fixed easily by compiling for corei7. Has anyone managed to withdraw any moneros from cryptonote.exchange.to?
I sent a request several hours ago to my local monero wallet and no luck.
They say in their website:
Q: What about withdraws?
Since our system does not host funds in hotwallets, outgoing payments are processed manually. Once the exchange has gained suffient funds through fees we will setup a hotwallet using those funds. This will ensure that customer funds are not at risk.
Q: But I want INSTANT withdraw?
Even though this is an inconvenience we're hoping that the knowledge of your funds being stored securely may suppress the urge to constantly deposit/withdraw in fear of another "ops, got hacked, 25% funds lost".
Anyone got any withdrawal today? when did you request it?
Thanks
yes i got mine that were stuck for a few hours. Create a ticket.
