1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: May 04, 2018, 08:34:13 PM
The regeneration period is over. Unfortunately, Jean-Luc abused the advantage given by his anonymity. Unlike thousands of trolls on this forum, his words can harm the reputation of IOTA, he suggested resolving the issue of corrections through legal mechanisms.

Oh yeah, anyone know what actually happened with Jean-Luc anyway? The last minute KYC thing seemed to be a direct response to screw him based on based on his legal threats, knowing that he wouldn't KYC. Did he ever end up KYC-ing, or does he just have to forfeit his IOTA?

I'm still waiting on mine as a List 1 member. Anyone else left?

Not sure but if I were you I'd reach out to Ralf at the IOTA Foundation. He seems to be the one pushing things along. He also told me all list 1 reclaims would be done by the end of the month.

I should note here for public record that I too received my reclaim yesterday.

k_day and superresistant, are you guys still without your iota? Are you List 1? I am List 1 and also still without receipt of my iota.

I am list 1. with 0 IOTA. David processed everyone from list 1 who said they would donate a % of their IOTA to the foundation. Those who did not offer were ignored and are still being ignored. I originally declined because I find it wholly inappropriate to solicit donations as part of the same process of giving people their money back, especially since it had already been 9 months of waiting. As it turns out I was correct - he only processed those who paid. One guy told him to F-off about the donation. Can you take a guess as to whether or not his reclaim was processed? It was not. The donations feel like a shakedown.

He ignored me after saying I'd like to consider the donation separately from this process, so I attempted to pay the bribe and offered up 5% of my stake. So far that hasn't had an effect.

According to David, I should quite whining, and this is all my fault. How long is an acceptable amount of time for me to sit here and shut up before complaining? It has been 11 months.

I just sent David another email. It's been 11 months since I first started attempting to reclaim my IOTA.

Still nothing even after offering a donation as ransom.

Pretty cool post from last year:

I just went back and re-read this whole thread again, which was started in July 2017. This whole thing is even more insane than I remember. The amount of hoops we've jumped through and broken promises is staggering. It doesn't feel like we are any closer to a resolution than we were in July.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: February 14, 2018, 10:04:12 PM
If it is out of your hands, well, as part of the Iota team, why will not YOU ask David for us, and report to us some sort of status or plan on this?

Asked several times, the answers weren't very helpful, so you should ask David directly.

Honestly, this was the most discouraging post in this thread. Not even cfb can get through to David, and it sounds like he's done trying.

We've all asked David repeatedly over the past 9 months, and received 0 responses. Not even any acknowledgment that this issue exists, besides a post that seemed mostly retaliatory to JL enforcing some ridiculous KYC that we complied with anyway. This goes far beyond being busy. David thinks we are getting what we deserve and clearly has no interest in helping us. More doubtful than ever that this will get resolved.

Haha, this is such a joke.

I just talked to johndom on discord and he is telling me that it's in lawyer hands :
"Reclaims
Also an update on the Reclaims: We're currently spending time with our legal experts to come up with a full strategy on giving back the reclaims with a properly approved KYC process. We'll be providing updates on this soon."

(I thought this topic did not concerned ICO buyers, but apparently I was wrong)

cfb does this have anything to do with our claims? Are we now somehow both waiting on both David, and lawyers?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: January 29, 2018, 05:17:24 PM
Everyone points to someone else.

David is the guy you need. Whom he points to?

I'm pretty sure David just points to /dev/null. I've never received any response from him in 8 months.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: January 29, 2018, 03:57:39 AM
I first reached out to iota support regarding this matter on 5/19/17. It's been 8 months of waiting, instructions, run-around, and largely silence. Everyone points to someone else. Let's please get this over with.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: January 13, 2018, 08:11:19 AM

I haven't received anything in my wallet -  List 1

Please CfB, process the claiming, David is way too slow it's insane.

I talked to David today regarding this very case. He said he would process the claims if I did his work related to follow-up for a couple of corporations from Top 20.

To clarify, this is 100% trolling us, correct?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: January 11, 2018, 04:57:17 AM
I sent the data related to List 1 claimants to David. The rest doesn't depend on me. You should understand that David is very busy.

This was back on November 28th. We all understand that he is busy. A little communication here from him would go a really long way. Hard for me to believe he will ever make this a priority, or that it's on his mind at all. Why can't Dom or CfB take this process over?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: January 09, 2018, 07:13:43 PM
I have this sinking feeling that people in list 1 will not be included in the "all reclaims complete by Jan 10" deadline. Would love to be wrong though.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: October 28, 2017, 06:23:35 PM
Can someone confirm that converting your lower case seed (from unclaimed round 1) to uppercase is the right thing to do when doing step 1 of the claiming process? The transaction confirms, I just want to be sure that this will work when it comes time to do part 2.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA manual claims tracker (UNOFFICIAL) on: October 17, 2017, 05:39:26 AM
I'm in group 1 and have emailed cfb as instructed, added on skype with requested info. Waiting on next steps.
