Estimate XMR rate 1000 usd during this cycle Businesses that use privacy coins can keep their financial dealings confidential, which might be useful for competitive reasons or to protect sensitive business information. Privacy coins can help prevent discrimination based on spending habits or financial status by ensuring that personal financial data is not exposed. For personal transactions, privacy coins offer peace of mind, knowing that one's financial transactions are not easily accessible or traceable by others. Enhanced Fungibility is the property of a good or asset to be interchangeable with other goods or assets of the same type. Privacy coins are considered more fungible because each coin is indistinguishable from another, unlike Bitcoin, where coins can be tracked back to their origins.

Hello all, Is there any way of recovering the block database without downloading the entire thing from scratch? My Macbook crashed for some reason and now Bitcoin Core comes up with the error: "Error opening block database. Do you want to rebuild the block database now?" I continued but it has started verifying all block from the beginning. I am running the node from an external drive if that's important. I wonder if the computer crashed because of a memory or related issue due to the external hard drive setup. Thanks Steve
post hardware profile, crash log, could be free memory related does system have swap file enabled

Isn't it necessary for POS coins to have a certain amount of that coin in your node to earn from staking? Also, starting staking is not complicated, it is a matter of one click inside the wallet or just one command in the console. Did I miss something here?
have to be configured as delegated staking (some POS coins do have this option), node operator does not require coins only master wallet, yes with console command possible Very few POS coins are profitable even with the lowest-priced VPS. Their prime ended even before the ICO euphoria.
not sure what calculation used for this conclusion, majority of POS coins (smart chain) use CPU for staking, reward amount increases with coins amount in wallet and not power draw

project Im hiring for audited, downloaded from official github, can find them on marketcap, top 100 coins anyways possible build from source code for additional layer of security (no binary download required) 2$ VPS is not enough resources, mem pool can take up to 3GB ram, chain snapshot 40 GB in this range the best deal VPS is $20 month, monthly payment negotiable it can be 20-50% from staking rewards regarding electricity, with screen off power draw is 5 watt per hour average cost of a kilowatt hour is between 9 and 10 cents day of keeping node will cost 0.012 cents

I'm sure many Bitcoin users don't even know how to take your advice.
"Do NOT overpay your transaction fees." What? What does it mean? How? Why, can we pay less? Can we change our fees?
How many of us here check the mempool first before making a transaction? Or how many here actually knows there's such a place to know the optimum fee? How many of us here actually do the steps to minimize the fees? Many of us here are even using legacy addresses until now. How many actually use wallets that allow personalized fees?
In fairness, however, the users knows about RBF. That's probably not something a newbie normally knows. Unfortunately, he/she used it to his/her disadvantage. Apparently, there's more he/she needs to learn.
replace-by-fee in core version 0.12 released February 2016 feature provides flexibility to users who wish to speed up their transactions or modify the fee in reaction to network constraints, although it optional, could be used to lower the fee
