I think its more or less I was a few hours late. Not late per say but late getting payments so it might take another day before it kicks in, if its not doing so by this time tomorrow Ill question then.
keep an eye on the stake value.. the pix shows zero, you may want to close and reopen wallet also POS blocks are mined via the client, so your competing against all the other wallets and other POW blocks, so it will be fully random, it can take up to 30days my wallet is stuck on block 8635. Can anyone help?

So, I can't do much with graphics or much with coding. But anything else you need help with? Not sure on that the moment... let me think about it... another thing I've been thinking about is making this the first x11/POS anonymous coin, since darkcoin is a 9% premine I can't see it as a viable anonymous coin and it isn't POS, but I don't see why the masternode concept couldn't be built into the X11Coin to provide that same functionality actually I just figured out a way to send anonymous TX's with out requiring a masternode... now time to code it.. +1 Great work Dev!

Meh, not fussed either way. Already took profits from ZS. Still holding a small bag in case, but I doubt that'll be of any value soon.
I don't give a shit about IRC promises. I thought there was mention a while back to be more visible here? This thread was a great way to promote and nurture the coin. Except it turned out to be only a handful of cheerleaders (me included) spamming shit to each other.
edit: just checked market history. Someone dumped to 2 sat. Lol.
really? Its been a little quiet in the forum for maybe a week and the coin is dead? If this is you attitude then you must have a lot of regret watching coins develop and increase in value while you sit on the sideline as you dumped too early.

Could you make a screenshot of this input in coin control window? Are you sure that you have not reset this input age?
https://i.imgur.com/HnKReE8.jpgAll i have done is update the wallet to 1.9.1 I have not deleted anything from appdata, only deleted only mintcoin dir and replaced. Transactions page is not the right place to look for your inputs age. Read what i wrote. You need to open coin control window, sort by conformations or date and see if you have coins old enough. Transactions only show incoming and outgoing transactions, not inputs. For example, if you have input of 100K coins, you can reset this input age by transferring only 1 coin, if that 1 coin is chosen from this 100K coin input. I repeat. Transaction page does not report coin input age! I assume this is what your referring to? https://i.imgur.com/UQsQnzz.jpgSo according to this coinage is under 20 day? Sorry, but can you explain a little better what is happening here? I just want to understand the POS process. Yes. You can sort by list mode to see more detailed inputs info, but you are a lot closer to trueth now. As you can see, the oldest coins you have are only about 16 days old. This means that you have made transfer(s) out after you recieved that payment you took screenshot of transactions tab before and reset that input coin age. If you want to reserve your large inputs and still need make a payment out, then i suggest you start using coin control features on your send coins tab. Coin control features have been explained in many threads before. One good example is here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=144331.0This info holds true for all cryptocoins, including Mintcoin. Ok, thanks for the link, so if i understand correctly when coins are staked it is the same as "sending" coins? So does that mean when coins are staked their coinage is reset?

seem im not minting coins after upgrading to wallet 1.9.1. stake icon status is "Not minting because you dont have mature coins" However i have minted plenty of coins before upgrading the wallet, and I have not moved any coins recently. wallet is unlocked. Can anyone give advise? { "version" : "v1.9.1.0", "protocolversion" : 60006, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 332939.63232300, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 299470, "moneysupply" : 18941662370.91911316, "connections" : 12, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "hidden", "difficulty" : 0.06147789, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1393760875, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" }
Math usually doesnt lie. If it says that you dont have mature coins, then you probably dont have mature coins. If you need additional proof, then open coin control window and see the date you have on the oldest incoming transactions. If its less than 20 days, then you dont have mature coins. I guess the math does lie because Ive had 220,000 coin in the wallet since 9/3/14 Does the new wallet reset coinage? I'm really stuck on this one guys.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zimstake (ZS) - No IPO / PreMine - SHA-256 - POW/POS - Just for FUN

JUST FOR FUN,It has been discussed, so most of you know, ZimStake will probably end up with far less than the 6.5million total coins after POW ends. This is due to POS blocks being mixed in with the POW blocks and incrementing the block height, which causes POW to end quite a bit sooner. I'll sponsor a contest to guess where the total coin supply ends up at on block 12,512800 ZS to the winner, determined "Price is Right" style by whoever is closest to the actual coin supply when block 12,512 is mined, without going overCryptoGir has generously donated 5,000 ZS to the pot, winner will receive 5,800 ZSPot balance: http://coinia.net/zimstake/getbalance.php?addr=DwHLVJ8V2yrgWjahBaiz8piuxC3AngWfnoIf you would like to contribute to the contest and increase the pot size, donate funds here: DwHLVJ8V2yrgWjahBaiz8piuxC3AngWfnoPost your guess here and I will setup a Google spreadsheet with a list of BCT usernames & their guesses. I require that everyone's guess must be exact down to the single ZS. 4,301,268 is a valid guess. 4.3 million is NOT a valid guess. NO SECOND CHANCES. Once your guess is on the spreadsheet, it is set in stone. Duplicate guesses will not be accepted. Once the spreadsheet is up, check it before guessing, to make sure someone else hasn't already guessed your number. In the unbelievably rare occurrence that we end up with two winners, I will organize a drinking contest taking shots of green label rotgut whiskey. Last person still able to lift the glass wins. Keep mining folks, only a few days left - http://zim.pitythepool.com is committed to staying up through the end of the POW phase. Great Idea!, I will contribute 500 ZS! Now all I need to do i buy all the ZS is can and manipulate POS, THEN I WILL STEAL YOUR POS TECHNOLOGY AND DESTROY THIS PLANET!!!

By the way, no where did I post that the pool was closing. For CoinArmy Pool.
The pool is still up and running. Just had about a 1 hour downtime while I fixed the corruption. lol
But any who payments from your old balance have been sent to the address you had on file and the pool is functioning 100% again.
I think I see where it fucked up so on the next update we should be ok and not have that happen again.
That being said on the next wallet update I will have to kill stratum for about 2 minutes while I update the wallet. So don't freek out. Just chill and have a fail over pool setup so when the wallet is done updating it will join back into the pool automatically.
Peaces
Its great to see all pool OP's working hard to keep their pools running and up to date. I also agree anyone mining this, or any other coin should have at least one backup pool set for their miners.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining endgame scenario
|
on: April 30, 2014, 01:12:40 PM
|
Dear all,
I wanted to pose a bit out of topic question to fellow miners & GPU mining-farm owners.
Now, with asic's already jumping on scrypt pools and GPU farms yielding low (<50%, unless you have free electricity) yearly ROI, I start to think of end-game scenarios for GPU mining. What will you do when the profit is down to 0% (earnings=cost of electricity)?
A) Sell your hardware? Buyers won't be queing up, since the cards were heavily abused... B) Start a GPGPU/ OpenCL & CUDA compute cluster? - Limited application as gaming cards are slow with double precision arithmetics. On the other hand TFLOP-wise these cards are sick fast on single-precision when compared to the price of Tesla hardware... C) Start a 3d-render farm? - Does anyone even use these things? Movie companies have their own and complain that double-precision is not even enough for them and they use CPU farms.
D) Another (viable) option is to set-up a remote gaming service, allow people to play games on your high-end gpus. There are a bunch of commercial systems (e.g. Onlive), most of them suffer from internet lags, so your small farm could be a better option for your neighbors who are geographically nearby. But again - software (exists, open source and others), game licenses...
What do you think/plan?
Endgame for GPU not even close. I dont know why so many GPU rig owners believe this is the case. try a different algo: X11, X13, Scrypt-N just to name a few. Do some research and you will soon find these equally if not more profitable then vanilla script coins.
