thats interesting, I run mine on a single 220V 30A.  You may have a defective backplane? (what the cards sit in) Im not sure, hopefully bitfury support can help?

If you have a PC, you can crack open the case and steal the jumper from the CMOS pin on the Motherboard, that works perfectly, just dont put it on the wrong pin (CLR) when you are done updating the B8.  Otherwise I would just search amazon for motherboard jumper and it should pop up with something pretty cheap like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Uxcell-a13112100ux0081-2-54mm-Standard-Circuit/dp/B00HR8DGZO/

or a penny and some electrical tape Smiley

#protip.... Tie a piece of string to it, it makes removal much easier

1)    I have been using Slushpool with great results.

2)    If no pool is specified in the settings, the machine will sit idle with very little heat discharging out of the back of the unit.

3)    I updated the firmware with the jumper on the main board and then removed it after a restart.

4)    The 2 black buttons.... I have no idea what they do but mine were busted off when I received mine and I had to solder new buttons back on.

I spent the better part of 3 weeks fiddling with my first B8, keep trying and you will eventually be successful.  Try updating the firmware again using Version 1.2.0.  I tried running the new V 1.3.3 and I had similar results as you, could get into the software but the unit wouldnt hash.  My guess is Bitfury messed up this version of firmware or they didnt specify a specific update process for us to follow.

Try removing the Orange Pi board and re-seating it (im sure you have already tried this)
You might also verify that both power supplies are fully seated, I had to push mine really hard to get them all the way in and locked.
while you are in the case, go ahead and verify all the connections inside, ie cards fully seated, fan control board connections, etc.

I will PM you with a Google Drive link for the 1.2.0 firmware

I recently went through my own battle with this monster.  Have you tried rolling back the software? Like Openminer V1.2.0?  I have a zip file if you need it, My B8 is on 1.2.0 and is currently hashing at 52TH/s.  I have heard bitfury was working on a new firmware that could push the B8 into Tardis territory (68TH/s) but I am not sure if I trust my source (salesman, HAHA)

BitMaxz, Thank you so much for your time!

I had contacted bitfily via their sales email about a week ago without a reply.

I sent them another message via Facebook Messenger last night from the link you provided.

My unit was badly damaged by UPS so I had to do some soldering on the NIC and reset switches in order to try what you suggested...

No Luck

I did hear back from the seller (Varispin) finally. He claims to be discussing the repairs with bitfily tech team and will let me know when he has the parts.  it looks like the lack of an OS is the primary problem, seems like an easy enough place to start if I were the Manufacturer/ customer service tech...

I will update as relevant

Thank you again

UPDATE:
I decided to give up on Bitfily support and since this unit bears a striking resemblance to the BitFury B8, I went to their website and easily found their software here:

https://dl.bitfury.com/support/bitfury B8/
or
https://dl.bitfury.com/Support/Bitfury%20B8/

The above link also includes a quickstart guide for the initial setup.

As expected, Bitfily is a chinese knockoff company who has stolen Bitfury's design and sold it as their own.

Supposedly there is a new firmware coming for these units that bumps up the hashrate to 68TH/s but I will believe it when I see it.

I am currently running at 52TH/s @ 61C so this might offset some heating costs over the winter Smiley

Had a similar problem as the OP.  My unit (Bitfily Snow Panther A1+) was brand new and would not draw an IP.  I slid the SD card from the OrangePi Zero into my PC and it was blank!  Anyone have a copy of the OS they can link to?? that might get this POS to work...
8  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Varispin Solar starting advertising of a new miner.... 48TH-3000W on: September 13, 2019, 05:59:51 PM
I purchased a Bitfily A1+ from Varispin through Amazon.  It amazingly arrived about a week before it was projected.  However, UPS totally destroyed that thing.  All the rivets were blown out of it, RJ45 connection was smashed, 2 fans were stripped out from the drop and all the fan guards had to be pried back away from the fan blades.  The case itself was even warped from the lack of structure.  Everything appeared new inside the unit though, as advertised.  There wasnt a speck of dust on anything. I was able to stitch everything back together and install the boards...only to find out that the SD card in the OrangePi Zero was blank.  I couldn't get the unit to draw an IP so I'm in the process of returning it since Varispin has stopped answering emails and phone calls.

Anyone else had any dealings with this retailer??

There is a new english website: bitfily.vip, but you cannot make any orders. And their original chinese website is still online: bitfily.com...

I believe that .vip address redirects to the .com address now...

For the sake of a new thread, I have a question about the OS for the Bitfily devices...
Just received an A1+, wouldn't draw an IP so I pulled the OrangePi Zero board out.  I grabbed the SD card out of it and slid it into my card reader only to find that it was empty (windows recognized it as a drive without needing to format and shows empty)

Does anyone have a link to the original OS .rar file?

anything else I should know about this 90 pound monster?  I will post some stats and data if I can get it working!
