To make Work Quest compatible with the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint, we chose Golang for implementing the master node software (validators) in Work Quest.
Typescript (used to code the backend modules) and ElectronJS (used to create the desktop wallet applications), as well as JavaScript, HTML, and Cs, are the other programming languages used.

The Cosmos SDK was used to create the WorkQuest blockchain, a platform for building blockchain applications focused on specific tasks. Cosmos provides a secure and dependable solution for most typical blockchain operations, such as arranging network communication between nodes and maintaining a trustworthy consensus across nodes involved in block production.
Thanks to building on Cosmos, Work Net Blockchain is compatible with all blockchains in the Cosmos network.

WorkQuest will have its own blockchain, allowing it to have a smart contract system that allows two parties to make legally binding agreements.

Users of the WorkQuest product will be able to construct any Quest Task they require, from dog walking to nanny services, to obtain temporary or permanent executive employment. A smart contract is formed in real-time between the worker and the employer, containing the details and nature of the assignment or employment.

A major challenge in the global labor market is matching skills with prospective employers to distribute jobs equally. For example, there may be jobs and opportunities in developed countries, but employers might be finding it difficult to get workers to fill those needs. In contrast, emerging and developing economies have large populations of skilled workers, but they face a shortage of employers within these sectors.

WorkQuest is creating an online job marketplace connecting all types of employees with employers in any part of the world. The WorkQuest team offers a new platform with unprecedented efficiency, low cost, and convenience based on blockchain technology for employers and employees.

Functioning as a validator has a major incentive of earning rewards and runs the risk of being fined for improper performance of duties. A validator risks losing part of its stake as a result of these fines, as well as a reputational loss if users stop trusting it with their funds for delegation. Thus, reputational losses can have a very strong impact on validators. A validator stack consists of its funds and funds delegated (leased) to it by other members of the network.

Validator is a member of the Work network who keeps a blockchain replica on his equipment, provides transaction verification, chain blocks formation, and participates in the consensus-building process. One of the main characteristics of the Validator is voting power, which is directly proportional to the size of the Validator’s stake.
