Contract clearly was made for devices to be delivered in December. A significant premium was paid for this. It was not delivered. January, and then mid February came before any news of shipments. End users had notified that they had received orders placed In January (At a greatly discounted rate) prior to CryptX operation starting with Cointerra. Again, such a thing is clear breach of contractual obligation by Cointerra. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/02/03/cointerra_ships_bitcoin_miners/ Everyone who received a late "Batch One" machine will get another box (expected to be fully specced) free of charge, says the company. I had contacted the company to confirm this statement, as I have also ordered a batch one machine outside of this operation. I have confirmed every client (regardless of order size) who placed a DEC batch order will be receiving replacement hardware amounting to additional 100% of the original order within the period of march as compensation, and this is as directly advised by their legal partners. Orders placed for shipment in Months of Jan, Feb will receive a store coupon.

not sure I'm trust operator i chat with somebody last week; 01:41:44 921908390: currently the only centralised exchange with xcp/btc pairs is poloniex. got about 85BTC in trade volume so far and hasn't been up for a day yet, not bad. 01:42:00 71298191: go and make a post about how much that site sucks and why 01:42:19 71298191: and you will do the mankind a good thing 01:42:24 921908390: well, it just got back up from heavy load 01:42:48 921908390: certainly isn't the smoothest experience, but beggars can't be choosers 01:42:51 71298191: its a scam 01:43:05 71298191: we found security issues on it in 5 minutes 01:43:07 921908390: I've only used it for first time today. 01:43:31 71298191: i'ts a scam or somebody will hack it very soon 01:43:39 71298191: both options are very possible and maybe even combined

Here is the spreadsheet. Someone else created, I have simply modded it for the reinvestment. http://goo.gl/cmkd5uGood work. You can also consider other external factors unrelated somewhat to performance of the mine. for instance invisible hand of the market decides on a annual yield they are happy with and shareprice roughly correlates with that. as dividend fluctuates, so does shareprice. AsicMiner right now is down to a shocking ~3.6% yield. who wants to wait 25+ years to recover their savings in a bitcoin mining asset!!! it's totally absolutely crazy when you can earn similar amount with fiat in a high interest savings account. Shareholders of AM anticipate increased dividends soon but even historically it has settled on 20% or so and friedcat talk about single digit returns. If you take things like this into account, the shareprice can be radically different Also important is sourcing re-investment hardware with bulk deals from other suppliers, potential of own assembly, own optimisations of PCB's, tweaking of re-investment %'s and so on. All of these are just 'if's though

This unfortunately looks like Poloniex got hacked. http://blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=19rVQ91AgrYmbpX6Sjxw6qCoP2Q1YFcn5bThis address received 35k from Poloniex and immediately redeposited it. Poloniex at the time had a balance of roughly 50k, so unless a big whale had been buying all along this is very fishy. There's no reason for an immediate redeposit unless someone had managed to get Poloniex to pay out to them. Also strange is how there is no intermediate deposit address used--the transfers are going directly into the central wallet. Here is another transfer of 35k: http://blockscan.com/address.aspx?q=1HMoHdzaHm9cHR8FjekGRtkkydoHfgaC8SPerhaps the hacker/exploiter is going for another round? I really hope I'm wrong. It does look as though either the central wallet or Poloniex's internal processes have been compromised. Unfortunately ... it does look highly likely you're right... Has anyone informed poloniex? let's see btw, there is also bot on poloniex who place higher bids, these are marked usually ms after order placed. seemed to not be coincidental placements. I had noticed it few days ago and just now too.

someone dumped 330 shares in a row, just after another ~100shares dump (done 10 by 10) time to buy heh I bet all these future profit calculations influenced it ( someone didn't like the numbers ) maybe they are gonna jump ship to AM with a 3.6% annual yield instead

waiting for download and re-index but will try and pinch a slice if there's any left later to devs, or any expert user who know about Counterparty, I understand we cannot use SPV client, but is it possible to implement some 'lightweight' Server-Trusting Client, connecting to remote node(s)?

Where do those 5 XCP go? Does this mean all XCP will be consumed eventually? Sounds strange... Sorry, I haven't done enough research yet... Announcement: The develop branch of counterparty now specifies that 5 XCP is destroyed in all future asset issuances (after block 281235 281236). If we decide to make this official, the fixed amount will be temporary, and should be determined by a distributed, proof-of-stake voting system as soon as possible.
PS: you are also working on a GUI? I was a fan of your Electrum builds in the past

Is there any easy to understand documentation on how to create an asset? I would like to offer some shares in a mining operation distributed in a decentralized exchange. I think it'll be a world first

AllForAltCoin PMed me and offered to sell me XCP. He tried to scam me, but I used an escrow service so I was only out the escrow fee. (still about $15). Here is proof he tried to scam me: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9MOap-lCD-bMFR5akNYQk9sZ0U/edit?usp=sharingIf anyone else actually wants to sell me XCP I'm buying. PM me. If your trusted on the forum I can send first. Otherwise, I escrow same here he PM'd & made a low offer, realised it's blatant scam so didn't get any further than that. also waiting for serious offers. buying up to 250
