Great points my friend!! you are right..... But unfortunately, Bitcoin was built on a more primitive block-chain technology so people are starting to view it as a good store of value and a good investment. In the future, It can act as the gold of all crypto currencies and all the other coins' value will be based on how they convert to Bitcoin. I believe that other coins are more well suited to be used as a day to day currency/payment instead of bitcoin because they are faster, have more scalability, can handle much higher traffic, etc. Bitcoin is a generation 1 Crypto Currency, while..... Cordano (ADA) is like generation 3. The newer coins will be more suitable.

People.... Let me break it down for you. As I read through all these comments, I realize that most of you are not worried about the governments or see them as a big threat. I find this very disturbing. Yea Bitcoin/Cryptos are decentralized but that does not mean its immune to everything. There are plenty ways to skin a cat. Listen, The governments DON'T like Bitcoin/Cryptos, It poses a big threat in many ways because they are quite happy and comfortable with the current system they got going on.... They can always print or loan out imaginary money which is backed by nothing, they can spy and trace all your funds/movements, they can freeze all your assets because the banks are centralized and will do what the government says. They can say Bitcoin is like the dark web where criminals roam and buy illegal stuff, bitcoin funds terrorism and money laundering, bitcoin is good for tax evaders and crooks that want to hide/move large sums of money. Governments love to have visibility and control, quite frankly, Bitcoin does not give them that. As we speak, they are already taking the necessary steps to kill bitcoin. I am witnessing this first hand while living in different countries. They are blocking crypto websites. They wont outright forwrd you to a screen saying that the website is blocked, you will just notice that the site wont load. They blocking almost everything crypto on government computers... Facebook ADs are making it very difficult to place any ads related to Cryptocurrency. They are getting disproved and saying you need special approval to play an ad in that category.n They are cracking down on online crypto wallets to block/ban users that use they bitcoins/cryptos to play on/transfer funds to and from Gambling sites. The list goes on and on..

These are some good reasons right here. We have to be careful though because bitcoin poses a direct threat to the big institutions and world governments. The governments need to have control and visibility. Thats why there is a chance if it being killed. There is a secret war on bitcoin and Crypto currency. As I mention this I realize that I have been itching to write my next article titled "The secret war against Bitcoin" where I expose all thats discretely going on.

Its been 2 weeks now. Its been crazy and felt a lot longer. What have we learned during this period? Please lend your thoughts to the Poll just created. Thank you in advance.

With those points I made you have to look at them with an open/clear mind thinking outside of the box.
The ATMs are rapidly growing and this will make bitcoin more accessible to people who have more difficulty buying bitcoins online. You don't need an ID or address or KYC or NOTHING to use it and buy with just cash. I tried it my self. It was instant. It also means that the Infastructure and the demand is growing...so the growth and demand vs something with very limited supply will hike up the price over time. (this also is better than local bitcoins and Paxful in terms of rates and convenience)

This brings me to Bitcoin halving, even if It does not shoot up the price this time like it always does, its still a win/win in my opinion because I know less coins will be produded afterwards and miners will have less to sell to the market.

As for President Trump and the Federal reserve -  them expressing concerns over Bitcoin and cryptos simply gives me confirmation that it poses a direct threat to their FIAT Currency which is backed by nothing. They will have to find a way soon enough to get onboard.. maybe kill bitcoin and make a new blockchain technology/coin that they will support but have more oversight/control.

Thank you all for the feedback. Sorry about the Facebook Libra connection. I though it would be a good indicator that crypto is the future and the need for change is apparent. I see bitcoin as the "GOLD Commodity" for all cryptos. I can just envision every other coin uses it correlation to bitcoin to value itself and set it apart from other coins. Bitcoin will be the standard and the more others coins match up to it in price, then the more value it will have. Just a wild prediction but something to look into.

And special thanks to you two on pointing out the fact that only about 1% of the population owns bitcoins. Also saying that the CEO of Morgan Creek Capital Management - Mark Yusko, which boldly states that Bitcoin's fundamental indicators such as "network hash rate, transaction volume and a steady increase of wallets being created are in an upward trajectory" which also means that the "network value of Bitcoin is rising!"

5. I mentioned the current chart analysis of BTC/USD and how we should buy when everyone is in a panic.

So in a nutshell that what it was, I never mentioned it before because I wanted no spoilers and I wanted people but pro and amateurs to read it. The experienced folks will think its a waste of time because they know about these things already but I can use your input on adding other reasons. For the newbies, this is good stuff.

  First off I just want to say that I absolutely love this forum and its a great feeling knowing that I have somewhere that I can go discuss Bitcoin/Cryptos which other that are not completely clueless about what I am talking about. I value your expertise and I humble myself because I have been learning so much while I am here reading all these posts. With that being said, I made an article on 5 reasons why I am buying Bitcoin that I shared with the public. I know I am missing other good reasons in my article but if you have one then please share here or underneat the comments for people to see. I am no expert buy I believe the points that I made should have some substance to it. I know its a tough crowd here, this is my second time writing ever and the first article I got killed here. Its very difficult to predict the bottom, even with the best TA. We just have make a choice based on reasoning behind it. A way I can tell that we are in a notable dip is that this was the biggest drop in the last 20 months (an article just came out saying this too). That's very significant and a good indicator. I don't care about the bottom, I just care about getting more at cheaper prices.
Also take time to step back and analyze the charts going further back and with bigger intervals like monthly or weekly bars/sticks. It helps , now you can have a more "long" term plan where to drop buy orders.

The pros always say buy when everyone is scared and in panic mode. Also, anyone that truly believes in bitcoin should do themselves a favor and buy the big dips for cost-averaging sake. If you a true long then you should be adding more as it gets lower. Just my opinion, not trying to give financial advice.

You are being too extreme my friend. First of all I clearly mentioned one of the many things I loved about the platform was the ability to Short anything. Also this article was written just a day ago. The signs were already there. But most Importantly, I did mention that you don't have to use all 100x leverage and its all about the right timing. Think about it, Bitcoin has more potential to go up than down at these levels, also if it does go down further then I can assure you that it will fly past this price again. Look and study its history and pattern, it moves very big... this is something that used to be less than a dollar.....something that, in 3 years, moved from $611 september 2016 and then the next year its trading at $19,000 towards the end of 2017.

I agree with you, they are scammers. I used them for autobet because I had this formula worked out where I had a very good chance of beating them. Well they still manage to wipe me out and its only by me losing 24 times in a row!! from something that is 50/50 chance. common nobody is that lucky, screw them they cheat and this happens to me every time. sometimes I would look at the roll history and verify in disbelief. I should have been taking screen shots of all the time they did this.
