1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⚽ XFCCOIN ▐The first Fantasy Football Manager blockchain game!▐ ⚽ on: May 19, 2020, 04:30:29 PM

FOOTBALLCOIN, A PROJECT BRINGING TOGETHER THE WORLD OF CRYPTO WITH THAT OF FOOTBALL

The first Football Manager game with collectible cards. You own what you collect. Create your own football team based on official stats and win.
FootballCoin is developed on top of Bitcoin’s blockchain technology and features it’s own cryptocurrency – XFCCOIN.

[url=https://www.footballcoin.io/about-footballcoin/what-is-footballcoin/]WHAT IS FOOTBALLCOIN?

FootballCoin allows you to act like a real manager, predicting player form, match outcomes, ability development and rewarding managers for their results.
Building your fantasy team will have you choose from the available list of professional players.

HOW IT WORKS?
Based on the performance of the selected players, your team will accumulate or lose points. Positive events (such as scoring goals, contributing assists,
keeping a clean sheet) will add points to your team. Negative events (such as receiving yellow/red cards, conceding goals, missing penalties) will see the players
lose points. Moreover, players’ positions are of relevance as they have a direct impact on how they score in the game. Build a team with efficient players, who
will score high and make you win!

WHAT IS XFC?
XFC were issued in a limited supply of 1 bilion on Counterparty platform (a Bitcoin-blockchain based platform).
A limited number issuance of coin offers XFC an important opportunity of increasing in value, based on the evolution of the number of participants in the game.

MISSION&VISION
Our motivation in developing FootballCoin comes from our desire to introduce an important part of Fantasy Football players to Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and
blockchain technologies.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN] uTip - Unnamed Exchange Official Tipping Coin ! [POW/POS] 🔥 on: May 15, 2020, 06:23:32 PM
I think you need to focus on your exchange frontend first.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / `altcoin-cli generate 1` returns empty brackets on: April 18, 2020, 05:13:53 PM
A brand new problem for me that I haven't seen before. I normally do not use SHA256 hashes, and this is my first time. I enabled the
Code:
fMineBlocksOnDemand
in chainparams.cpp. The output of the generate command I am running just returns:

Code:
[
]

Giving a null value. Do I need to mine my first block with secondary software for SHA256? If anyone has any idea on what's going on and would like to help me out, thanks.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any technical instructions on how to perform a network swap? on: April 17, 2020, 11:13:07 PM
I mean from a developer's standpoint. I am doing this for a hobby project of mine, and learning from it
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are there any technical instructions on how to perform a network swap? on: April 17, 2020, 09:19:55 PM
In the event of a hard network fork, I'm trying to perform a network swap. My end goal is to swap a 1:.5 ratio of coins. If you're not following me, an example would be some thing like this: I have 100 coins I want to swap into the new network. My coins will be split in half to 50 in the new network. I'm really just looking for documentation on how swaps work, for a hobby project of mine. If any of you out there have any information about this and would like to share, thanks for the help  Cheesy
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: March 21, 2020, 03:46:22 AM
Hi Guys!

I bought ripple at $2.50 and i am at very high losses. I wanted to know if and when it will reach $3, $4 and if my stars shine $5 ?  Please help. I am being as much patient i can but i am honestly dying from the inside looking at the prices.

You don't have to feel that way,
Not only you bought ripple at $2,50, just wait a little longer,
everything will be alright, because ripple's price will increase soon

Yeah, but not to $5
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will coronavirus encourage people to use crypto more thoroughly? on: March 21, 2020, 03:09:13 AM
I've seen somewhere across the web, that China has been taking measures to protect physical banknotes/bills from getting infected with the coronavirus. After all, it's said that the virus could be transmitted across physical cash in circulation from one person to another. If the trend continues, people will look for other ways to spend their money safely without having direct contact with the virus. In this regard, digital payments prove to be a winner when it comes to sending/receiving money without exposing yourself to physical banknotes/bills that have could've been contaminated with the coronavirus. I believe that it could be a win-win situation for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the Blockchain space. Unless governments decide to start rolling their digital currencies to the world, everything will remain likely the same as it is today.

Do you think that the recent situation will encourage people to use (or rely) on crypto more thoroughly? What are your thoughts? Huh

No. People will be ordering food and supplies off of Amazon, GrubHub, Doordash, whatever- but they won't be using cryptocurrency to do it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: March 21, 2020, 03:01:45 AM
Back in the day, Vitalik once said that crypto will be going to zero. There has been many concerns about the longevity of cryptocurrency as a serious form of money, given that it's relatively unstable within the mainstream world. It's been 10 years since Bitcoin was created where crypto has had its ups and downs. However, many are afraid that crypto will be going to zero as the blockchain hype ends and governments start rolling their own digital currencies. When we take a look at most cryptocurrencies on the market, most of them aren't even useful at all. Perhaps, the only one is Bitcoin but it's terrible as a currency for daily transactions.

Which is why, I'm starting to wonder if crypto will really go to zero in the future? If this happens, then most of us will lose our hard-earned money as crypto becomes worthless. What are your thoughts? Huh

Honestly I doubt it. Blockchain will hopefully continue to evolve and embed itself into society.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoin ideas. on: March 21, 2020, 02:48:48 AM
Interesting.... a Python altcoin would be odd. There are some things I think would be hard to convert from C++ to Python though.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MochaChain - Masternode / PoS Hybrid on: March 21, 2020, 01:24:40 AM
The MochaChain (MOCHA) is a PoS / Masternod looks promising hybrid cryptocurrency which is supporting decentralization in every aspect.

Lets hope for good.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: March 01, 2020, 11:01:59 PM
I have read this new proof of person on https://idena.io/, to put it simply we need to do a puzzle or captcha if we want to work as a node.
every single node is equivalent to one person, but this is tedious work for human to keep solving the puzzle. I do not think this new consensus will work out, this is not effective and efficient.

Sounds like a faucet, not a full fledged network
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] [MN] [PoS] MochaChain (MOCHA) on: February 17, 2020, 02:50:24 AM

MochaChain (MOCHA)
98% MN / 2% PoS

MochaChain (MOCHA) is a PoS / Masternode hybrid cryptocurrency that supports decentralization in every form. Every developmental decision aside from necessary bug fixes will be submitted to masternodes to vote on. If a decision does not reach a majority of “for” votes, the decision will be discarded, but still may be brought up for another vote at any time. In the almost impossible event of a tie, the decision will be posted to a viewable Discord channel where the entire network may vote, and express their opinions. MochaChain’s overall goal is to create a digital democracy that has control over every aspect of the network, so no developer will ever have complete control. By rule of the MOCHAChain whitepaper,
developers may not make any impactful network decision without a vote.

We also have 3 community clauses and rules that we abide by in our server to create a friendly environment.

The following clauses are undisputable community clauses that are to be upheld by all network owners in our communities. These clauses and guidelines exist to reduce toxicity & overall bad forms of character. Community moderators may cite this resource. Amendments may be made only with a Masternode consensus.

1 - Equal Rights & Equal Voices

All community members have a right to a voice on any MOCHA owned message boards & forums, unless a community member has violated any other basic community clause or rule. If a moderator of a forum or message board discriminates based on race, gender, or politics, they shall be banned from said moderation role.

This DOES NOT apply to any of the following actions:

Extremist (political/non-political) views - Having an opinion and talking about it is different from carrying out a crime for it.
Racism
Sexism
Minority discrimination of any kind
Personally insulting a fellow member of the MOCHA community

2 - Anti Toxicity

No toxicity or any demonstrations of bad forms of character is allowed on any MOCHA owned message boards & forums. Violating this rule will not get you banned, but you will be warned.

Also remember - you are talking to real people, you’re just in an online environment.

3 - No Promoting Scams, Ponzi Schemes, or  Questionable Crypto

We cannot stress enough how important this particular clause is. More than 3 billion dollars a year are lost to general scams, and this disease will not spread to MOCHA owned forums and message boards. On top of this, any coins that are promoted in authorized categories and channels of forums and message boards will be checked by moderators.

EDIT: For some reason, images won't load. Sorry about that.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Beyondcoin [BYND, Ƀ] - A coin created to go Beyond the impossible. on: February 16, 2020, 11:49:07 PM
Proof that you are 14, and what exactly does it add to the project, as you mentioned it 2 times in 2 lines, that seems to be important to you.

I'm 17 and i have 2 mining pools many block explorers and 1 coin, am i special ?

This is fcking stupid

Beyondcoin started without any premined coins

on block explorer:

first block was mined the 9th october

http://explorer.beyonddata.llc/block/5e3277b2f6d988288e2acda68d4894d3b62391dfd7f475c553592954c743f7a5

This topic that announce to the public the project was made the 12th..

Last block mined around that date is the 11 000 th block,  mined the 11th of october around midnight.

http://explorer.beyonddata.llc/block/0dddfe4a8d011ed8f12fe2e0ea62b07180f67ba6ecbae1d5a4761ec1577cab45

You said "No premine" but basically  11 000  blocks, so 550,000 coins,  were mined by you before anyone else has the change to know that it ever existed,

Basically it is exactly what "premine" means

What a joke lol

You're essentially a textbook jerk (keeping things clean here). A 14-year-old kid worked on this. Yeah, you're right to ask questions. It'd be helpful if you'd do so respectfully. I'd like to see you go up to a kid and look down on whatever they're working on and call it a "fcking joke". You point to yourself, as a 17-year-old, seemingly trying to find validity because of your own accomplishments. Be proud of what you did, but don't put others down because you're having a bad day. Jesus.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] LightningCash Gold (LTNCG) -- CPU -- Hive Mining -- Discord Mining on: January 31, 2020, 01:37:10 PM
Contrary to what some of the post commenters are saying, this coin has great potential. For guaranteed profit, every few months, we release the private key to our community fund, which amasses around 800k coins generally during this timespan. The last time we did this, our price went up 68,000 percent, going from almost nothing to a cent in 5 minutes. A cent, when you have 120,000 is a good $1200 US dollars. I hope to see more successes in the future!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: How to add AltCoin algo to NOMP? on: December 26, 2019, 09:00:46 PM
Yeah...... maybe we should ask elsewhere. Beginner questions aren't as accepted here.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / How to add AltCoin algo to NOMP? on: October 05, 2019, 08:09:12 PM
I've recently set up NOMP on one of my servers (https://github.com/hashpex/zny-nomp zny-nomp, to be exact). I'm new to making a pool, but I have a lot of it figured out. Unfortunately, I can't seem to follow on how to add new algos to the pool. Setting up the algos already loaded onto zny-nomp is easy, even for me. But I can't seem to figure this one out.

I have the coin daemon on my server up and running, with all the right RPC credentials and ports (corresponding with the configs of course, that I have also set up https://github.com/LightBitDev/LightBit). I also have the library (https://github.com/LightBitProject/LightBit/tree/master/src/crypto/yespower). In the end however, I just don't know what to do now (I get the traditional, "Cannot run a pool for unsupported algorithm" error).

Tl;dr: I'm really new at this and I'm wondering if you guys could help me out. If this post is somehow in the wrong place, please let me know  Smiley. Thanks for your help!

EDIT: I just realized I posted this in Mining, trying to move to Pools right now...
