1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another scam project please stop scamming on: March 14, 2020, 06:35:14 AM
my friend almost invested on this one told him it looks like a scam .

You guided your friend well.

Investors must be very vigilant in investing their hard earned money so they won't have to cry over spilled milk if the value gets down, the worst would be it won't be able to hit any exchange market. If it doesn't get listed to any exchange after a few months, it is considered a dead coin with no value at all.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: March 14, 2020, 06:06:07 AM
Recently I heard of a new malware that operates via public or shared charging ports. I mean, you can get your bank account cleaned out in seconds by merely connecting your phone to a charging port in a public place. How frightening this whole thing is! Wow.

That's pretty scary. I haven't heard same thing here in my country but who knows there might be someone who already experienced this one but wasn't able to report to authorities so there is no news. The most hacking I know was about people who were robbed by their banks, blaming a glitch in their system.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do we use shampoo? on: March 14, 2020, 05:53:30 AM
we use shampoo to wash your grease and oils out of your hair fool

I got the same reason. I only use shampoo for about twice a week because as far as I know hair gets oily after a few days of not using shampoo.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Coronavirus affects Bitcoin and when it will end on: March 14, 2020, 03:56:09 AM
Look at all cryptocurrency prices right now it's dump by 20%+ today so I think coronavirus is affecting very much we might see a huge fall this time maybe it will go bellow 3000$ this time and this my opinion only.

If the coronavirus keeps spreading and there would be plenty of people dying, this rate is very possible. As far as I know, it went below $4.5k as its lowest in the last few days (correct me if I'm wrong). But hopefully, with countries implementing lockdown, community quarantine, and travel bans the spread of coronavirus will be minimized.

If the prediction as stated by OP that this issue ends in June, I guess let's be patient and not panic as panicking won't get us anywhere. We should keep ourselves healthy and buy as much as we can afford before the price skyrockets again after this problem is over.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc dropping more then 39% in 24/h - on: March 14, 2020, 03:39:46 AM
Definitely a good time for those who have funds for situations like this. I really envy you people! I bought BTC at a $9k rate never knowing that this economic situation will get worse in a blink of an eye. I am holding to my coin so let's see what will happen in the next weeks of dealing after this coronavirus.

For those first-timers who want to invest in Bitcoin, this time is definitely a good time.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In times of turmoil, is Bitcoin really a safe-haven asset? on: March 14, 2020, 03:30:25 AM
I don't consider Bitcoin as a safe-haven asset as I am aware that any issues regarding the world will definitely shake its position in the market. I only consider Bitcoin as an investment so I choose to hold on to it as much as I can. I am not sure if it is because of COVID-19 or other things that manipulates it but I do know that it is connected to the economic situation we are in so everything is in a decline.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: March 11, 2020, 11:34:04 AM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

You got a point there. I've joined bounty campaigns a year ago and I just realized that we are indeed just rich in spreadsheets, LOL!
What can we expect from project owners? We were just used in making their projects popular so there is no space to complain. It is up to you if you join or not.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: March 11, 2020, 11:16:54 AM
Nowadays is the worst time for the crypto and stock market but it is definitely the right time to buy more shares because of the dip. Everyone should enjoy the moment and buy depending on what can you afford. If only I have funds I'll probably dig in too!
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 11, 2020, 10:47:51 AM
Good work!
I prefer seminars like this as you get to know each other and truly understand the topic. You get to ask questions too in a personal manner which I think is much comfortable. I haven't been to any Bitcoin seminar but I'll probably join if someone organizes a get together of a few people I know.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Now Legal In India? on: March 11, 2020, 10:33:51 AM
I am seeing most indian base project are also making some noise right now.

I think this is expected. India un-banning the use of cryptocurrency will definitely have a positive impact on crypto people and would surely develop more projects for the crypto community. I just wish it isn't a copy cat of what we had in the past years. I'm really tired of looking for projects who only turn to a shit coin after some time.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should the Crypto Community Be Worried About the Oil Crash? on: March 10, 2020, 06:07:18 AM
We will all crash by the Corona virus. Corona may infect bitcoin then  Roll Eyes

It has been a global problem and everything is crashing! Everything is affected by this virus not only crypto.

But I think we shouldn't be worried. The virus is somehow controlled now and the government is doing its best for it not to spread. Cross fingers that it really won't spread and I am sure everything will be back to normal again.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 07, 2020, 03:14:20 AM
I stopped participating in bounty campaigns for more than a year now. I honestly think they are just a waste of my time as most often the project is a copy-cat of another existing project who is in the market nowadays or still struggling to get into the market for trading. Sorry but it seems that to me most ICOs turn to scam after getting an investment from their investors. Please don't blame it on me, it is just that it is the effect of the past ICOs and their bounty campaign project not doing the right thing, scamming people.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tim Draper will give you money to learn about Bitcoin on: March 07, 2020, 02:33:00 AM
So does this mean the "free" thing isn't really free and you somewhat just reinvest it and cannot be withdrawn?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 07, 2020, 02:16:38 AM
Have you ever been concerned about Bitcoin's longevity in the mainstream world as a decentralized cryptocurrency? While BTC has been going strong since 2009, there exist the possibility that it could vanish from existence sometime in the future. After all, we know that nothing lasts forever.

Honestly, never thought about it could vanish instantly but I'm on a point where I'll just accept everything that will happen the moment I stayed exposed to cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin or the crypto doesn't last then who are we to control it, as you said nothing lasts forever so let's just enjoy what it has to offer nowadays.

So far I can see a positive outlook as there is recent news about different countries unbanning Bitcoin and even legalizing them, so let us just wait and see and enjoy the rollercoaster ride of crypto.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: What about a COVID-19 Coin ? on: March 06, 2020, 02:09:20 AM
We don't need more shitcoins. Especially when the premise can be fulfilled with any other more secure alternative, which can be easily found.

I agree.
People won't love this, and probably will only remind them that the origin of this coin caused one of their family to pass away at an early stage. It will only bring more scare to people.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2020, 01:56:24 AM
Hi guys, I'm working in the travel industry and recently found some global online travel agencies such as EasyRentCars start getting into crypto payments. I wonder how many crypto owners would be more interesting to purchase the service if the company accepts cryptocurrency? Would that be an effective feature?

I think this is a good option, adding crypto and accepting Bitcoin as one of the modes of payments is good for crypto adaptation. Seems like the only way to make crypto known to everyone is through the efforts of the business owners in including Bitcoin as one of their accepted mode of payment.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Bitcoin Legal in South Korea! on: March 06, 2020, 01:41:09 AM
This is good news for cryptocurrency. I recently read that India lift the ban for Bitcoin/crypto and now it's South Korea. It's a good thing that they are beginning to accept crypto and at least it won't be tagged as an illegal thing nowadays. Looking forward to other countries that will follow.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 04, 2020, 01:31:09 PM
Lifting the ban will surely affect the cryptocurrency even if it's minimal. The COVID scare still exists so news about this might have a little impact on the rates on cryptocurrency in the crypto market but still without the ban people from India will surely take a look at how crypto works. As far as I know, a lot of India people are into cryptocurrency so I think the positive news will at least make them at ease in investing their money in cryptocurrency since it is legal now.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking Investment advice? on: March 04, 2020, 01:08:42 PM
You are right about it but if the newbies will come to me and will ask me what is the best currency to invest their money then my answer will be very simple. I will just refer then to the safest investment currency that are on top 5 in coinmarketcap so they can just skip the research especially that they are still a newbie.

This is what I often recommend. Always check what's on the top of the list as there is a reason why they are in there. Their value may go down but there is still a high chance that they are just experiencing correction and will eventually go up again. I even apply this on myself as I don't have time to study everything that trends in crypto so I often invest what I think is on the top list of Binance. I guess this is for someone who chooses to HODL like me but if a certain person are so greedy and are always in a rush to earn more I guess, he/she should study how crypto works and start learning how to trade, I think that stuff is risky but profitable.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: March 03, 2020, 12:24:10 AM
I'm no newbie but this is an eye-opener for me. I recently engaged myself in crypto giveaways on Twitter, a friend had me joined because she's been winning some free crypto coins when she shares or retweets a post. She let me install a wallet from Google Play and of course I installed without hesitation since she's been using it for a while now. Anyway, there are two crypto wallets on my phone, Coinomi and Wallet of Satoshi. For now I'll depend on my friend's recommendation about using it, I think reviews from other users helps too.
