101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will alts like vechain still gain? on: April 27, 2021, 03:50:05 PM
With centralized coins like xrp and vechain I don't see long term viability for the market.
Instead go for those that have something disruptive and are not just clones of previous failed centralized currency attempts.
But then again, if you have long term in mind and want to invest today, you will have a lot to lose any crypto you select.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Previous Projects in 2018 again Pumping to All time high on: April 27, 2021, 03:47:37 PM
From your lists I had hopes only for Komodo. I don't know what went wrong there and how they managed to become lost, but it was one project that had potential.
All the rest you mentioned are abanadoned and had very poor developments, while many were just scams that had no intention to produce something but only cheat investors money.
Some of these were plain scams, however not going to mention and enter a long conversation.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: April 25, 2021, 09:12:16 AM
We take profit and each one should have their strategies. Holding is something we do early and not after the market has reached two and a half trillion dollars. This was the target and we are in a wait and see zone, ready for anything. We will earn more if it goes up, so I'm not trying to push a bearish agenda, I wish this bull run to continue for years, but I also know that this isn't going to last more than just a few months.

We already know that a lot of vaporware is valued at market caps of billions that is unfounded and unreasonable. Most of coins and tokens will suffer for a while, but we will keep being part of this, at least some of us, and be here no matter what.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero and its future. on: April 25, 2021, 08:13:18 AM
Monero is highly sophisticated code that seems to be extremely difficult to crack, or even impossible. But there could be found ways to reduce privacy. While the technicals are for developers, what I understand is how ring signatures make it impossible to tell which signature is coming from which account. Although there are attempts and even blockchain analytic companies have contracts with institutions to try and break Monero.

For the time being it is private, but who knows, maybe every transaction can be resolved and traced on day. For the time being and possibly for the whole decade, Monero will keep being the top privacy coin.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: starting my own altcoin ??? on: April 25, 2021, 07:17:43 AM
Since you ask about solidity, it becomes clear you will create a token, not a coin that will be running on its native blockchain.
A token means it will have some kind of utility, perhaps being used in a website or game. It could be an NFT too.

Writting a token code is not as important as making a plan for its success.
First of all you have to wonder why you want to create another token. Ethereum may even have soon a million different tokens. I don't know if there is data on that. Developers were creating these by hundreds each day.

Then you need a plan, a roadmap, a whitepaper, funds for marketing and any costs that can appear, probably you will need a team, as you won't be able to do everything on your own.

And lastly you will need connections. Solo devs are rarely making it nowadays. It's not like what it used to be, when someone was copying the Bitcoin code, forking and making a new cryptocurrency. We have thousands of these already.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for new projects... on: April 25, 2021, 07:11:17 AM
New projects can have significant growth during a bull run, but they will suffer if the market enters bearish state. It is also a risk investing near the top, which of course we can't predict correctly.
Also, especially given the fact that too many scams will try to just rug pull and exit scam with the investors money is very common, this is an added risk we should consider.
I am looking at many new projects and found just a few that could be worthy, some of them I promote in forums and Twitter, but I'm always trying to first do research and feel confident on the projects chances.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: April 24, 2021, 05:31:10 PM
I've seen this, it was years ago when Bitcoin was struggling to escape the bear market of 2018-2019.
I think this guy, Dan Pena, is a millionaire, or perhaps billionaire, I don't remember, and I didn't know him before this video appeared.

He is just looking like a guy trying to convince with arguments made up from his mind, just on the spot.
Makes no sense whatever he says and just thinks that because he said that we should be thinking this is real.
Doesn't work like that and as he keeps talking it becomes obvious he has no idea what Bitcoin is about.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Carbon Footprint on: April 24, 2021, 05:23:33 PM
My opinion is that Bitcoin miners are using excess power. The reason most are allocated in China is the low cost and infrastructure in hydroelectric power.
Coal power plants have been in use in some locations to power bitcoin miners but not on a massive scale.

Most of Bitcoin mining uses efficient green energy. Our planet is not polluted by Bitcoin, and there is no estimation that Bitcoin mining will ever affect anything.
There are so many industries that have a destructive influence on the environment, not to mention the nuclear weapon and the radioactive isotopes released since 1950.

Bitcoin is the least of our worries when it comes to the environment.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 10:38:40 AM
Thanks for informing but I was using Ethereum with fees of maximum 10 gwei for gas. I don't consider 50 gwei to be low and will not going to use unless there is one digit in gwei fees again.
Now, considering the fact that it was above 200 gwei for some time during high network usage, I think that this means Ethereum is probably not used so much right now.

Maybe a good time to move some tokens in exchanges without losing too much money in miners fees.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can doge coin reach 1$ this year? on: April 23, 2021, 08:37:43 PM
I'm sorry what are you asking us?
If Musk and more celebrities decide to shill Doge on social media, then its price will rise. For the time being Doge dropped 50% from the ATH and looks terrible.
We don't know if Musk has in mind to keep the pump and dumps for more time. Maybe he understands he made a mistake and he will eventually make many lose a lot of money if he keeps this way.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: April 23, 2021, 02:11:06 PM
Yesterday I saw someone mention #Dogira at Bitcointalk, then I went and bought it and quickly made twice as much money!

Thanks to this platform, it's full of get-rich-quick opportunities!!! Grin

Com' on. You seriously now think this is a good advice. Go ahead and buy any shitcoin someone else just bought and shill it on bitcointalk.
You got lucky by not losing all your money to a scam coin. This kind of advice you are giving is terrible and not worth a penny.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moving Altcoins to my bank account on: April 23, 2021, 02:08:34 PM
The fastest way to transfer to your bank is using regulated exchanges that offer wire transfers. It takes a day or two but your money will be there.
I have no idea what you are trying to do, however, you should try doing it without paying a huge chunk of your profit for fees.
There are always ways to avoid spending a lot in fees depending on the blockchains you will be using and of course the amount of funds you have invested.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: April 23, 2021, 02:06:19 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

You invest early mate. Not when everything went to the moon, you don't buy there but wait for prices to go down again. Be smart with your investments. However, nobody said you can't trade with stop-loss at place to cover your butt in case of a huge dip or the market turning bearish. There is a time for both, a time to invest, a time to move out of your investment and a time to trade.
By the way, you know that you can trade both ways, right?
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it because of Dogecoin in Uniswap these days, that dog tokens are hot. on: April 23, 2021, 02:02:23 PM
Nope. It is just FOMO. Just 1 out of 10,000 investors of Doge will ever try to find out what Uniswap is, or try to buy some wrapped garbage and trade there for hundreds of dollars of fees.
These are whales playing and whale games and nobody else. It is not a serious market anyway, just those that hold large portions of tokens managed to make them valuable.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 Get 500 SpermX Token Around 0.02 BNB/$11 USD By Completing Tasks🔥🔥🔥 on: April 22, 2021, 08:06:20 PM
What kind of joke is this.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin advice on: April 22, 2021, 01:15:09 PM
Hey guys I’m seeing a lot of success in Alt coins but I seem to always be a day behind the pump! Like I buy at 40x and sell at 50x? How do I know what coin to buy like all these guys before they pump them?!

You take a risk and calculate it. There is a big possibility we are closing the end of the bull run.
It is all the same as last time. Altcoins are pumping and Bitcoin is losing in price and dominance.

It won't be long before this market collapses, and if you study it closer you will notice the signs.
It is possible that it all ends in a month or even less.
So take your chances if you want to, you could make some good money, but you can also lose everything.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 22, 2021, 01:12:10 PM
Since Gates last appreciation regarding crypto back in 2018 when he said that he would short BTC if there was and easy way to do it, Bill Gates recently described Bitcoin as a mania/bubble so he is still pessimistic, while others like Elon Musk have revealed that they believe not only BTC could rise exponentially in value.

Who's right? Let's discuss.

Gates literally said that he would short the exact bottom. Obviously he didn't understand that Bitcoin was ready for massive growth and that it is not being used as currency anymore. Bitcoin has evolved in an asset that is not to be used for small payments, and may evolve even further in a bigger asset only to be used for settlements of international trade. It is a macro asset that can be used in government scale and industries.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feedback Request: Would you buy a coin that can go only up? on: April 22, 2021, 01:09:21 PM
I have seen many like those you said in the Waves platform. All of them were scams, short of Ponzi-like smart contract that would never allow you to profit. Any manipulation of prices or fees like that won't end well and the product will be totally worthless no matter the price. These are tricks and not something that has real value.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust centralized exchanges? on: April 22, 2021, 01:07:29 PM
I didn't know this exchange, probably it was a local one only for Turkish customers. How it could manage to hold 1 billion dollar assets is very difficult to think of.
We keep telling not to hold coins in centralized exchanges, because these are the results. It is a big factor when calculating risk. While there are a few exchanges regulated there is no way trusting them.
The high fees in some blockchains are a problem though, and it makes newcomers to just keep holding in the exchanges they buy. Trading also becomes difficult at times in DEX and P2P exchanges and beginners usually don't touch those.
The only risk I am taking is when moving funds to a few big exchanges just to keep for a few trades. These trades may be lengthy but the risk of losing my funds is calculated before using them.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income on: April 21, 2021, 04:31:40 PM
What are some of the best ways to earn passive income right now? I was thinking about staking $CAKE, just staking it and not using liquidity farms. But not sure how profitable that would be, compared to some other methods. I have a 5000$ capital.

What do you think you can accomplish? You don't seem to have planned this very well and this is what these scams want from you. What is your expected profit? You really think that these shitcoins will hold their current price and the market will not just die after two months? I can't write this differently, I'm sorry, but all of this, all of what you see today won't last more than two three months.
