1  Other / Off-topic / Scammed from someone on Discord for 12000 USD !!!! (HIS USERNAME: TWISTED#0957) on: October 13, 2020, 11:00:45 AM
Hello.

For years i have been part of a group on discord.

This group works as a betting group (its not the only one, im gonna out every single one considering how they can ruin peoples lives), where you can pay money to the leader and he will give you a "ranking" in the group. Then there are customers that will ask to bet games against them, and they will take money via Crypto.

I have lost alot of money to them already, by sending BTC/ETH etc., and gamble on sports events.

Yesterday i wanted to bet on a CSgo game. I send 30 ETH to a user on Discord. Yes i am aware this sound stupid, but its been ongoing for years.

Never been a problem. I end up not betting on this CSgo game, due to some crazy odds movement. (First i asked to bet home team 1.60 but it dropped to 1.30 and away team went to 3.27 so i asked to bet 10 ETH on this out of the 30 ETH i planned to bet on the odds 1.60).

In the end nothing was placed.

I asked him to send the funds back. And this is where it starts. I am told that my game was suspicious due to odds movement and the rule usually is they keep the funds. KEEP THE FUNDS. I will show you some of my conversations with him, in hope that i can track him/them down. Its almost 12000 USD they decide to scam me for, i woke up this moment and i was kicked out of the clan/group and he had deleted all chats and blocked me. Luckily i took a lot of photos before that as i had a feeling he might do exactly this, even though he guaranteed me that would be stealing and he would never do that.

If anyone knows people at discord or who these guys are, please warn others and try help me get the funds back.

Now yes its super stupid to send this much funds to a total stranger, but like i said its been going on for years. And there are multiple groups, they run their group based on their reputation.

This 30 ETH, some of them was borrowed funds and i have a huge problem myself now. I have a degen problem myself, and was never meant to lose this.

And now, not sure what to do. I hope to find help here, or if you know other places i should be posting this.

I attached a lot of photo, and will explain what they all are showing.

Unfortunately he has been blocked before from discord and he just made a new account. So i need discord to be in on this too, to track down and stop these people.

GUYS i cant add PHOTOS?

I wanted to add 10+ photos from my chat with him and the group.

Anyone can explain how to?

I have photos of my chats showing i sent the funds, previous bets, showing the high ranked members etc.

Hey

You got any news on that Cagliari bet?

And if not paying back the 0.125 btc can you give a proper explanation so I can see the fairness

If you did not give me back the money / had kept the bet going then no problem

But you voided the bet which was the outcome for both of us no matter result

Then charge me afterwards
Doesn’t seem fair
I would never have been able to write that you paid me back 0.125 before game, but it should count as a win also
Literally I would be freerolling you like you are freerolling me in that spot

Hey.

I am having a pretty weird case with cloudbet.

Would like your folks take on it.

The case is the following:

On Sunday I place a bet. I bet the following:
0.12 btc Cagliari win game.
0.25 btc Cagliari -0.25 (Asian).
0.25 btc Cagliari -0.25 (Asian).

The Cagliari bet to win gets voided as the match is moved to the next day.
But the 2 -0.25 bets remain.
I spend the 0.12 btc from the Cagliari to win, on another bet expecting it’d void both sides.

Monday Cagliari plays and loses.
They are not paying me out on the -0.25 so I write them to fix this.

Now I should have 0.25 btc back. As -0.25 pays out half if draw.
Instead they credit me with 0.125. I say they are missing one bet to grade.

They say all bets were graded. Which means the bet that was voided for BOTH of us they charged me as a loss.

No MATTER the outcome I would never ever have gotten it as a win if it won nor would I ever have asked. It was voided for both a day before the game even started.

I obviously lost it on something else but that’s not the point. The point is that if Cagliari had won I could not have told them that the bet that was voided has to be paid out as I spend the money.
So they gave me the money back before the game which means it’s even for both of us. I had no money placed on that bet. I took photos of the brutal chat I had with them.

Also have photos of the bet being pushed on Sunday.

Btw I’m down huge in the account. This 0.12 won’t make a different but it’s the principal.

So to sum up:
Two people agree a bet is void. The bet then loses and they charge me double. Does anyone here think if the bet had won I could have wrote them saying “hey you voided my bet I got my money back and spend it on another bet. But I would also like the winnings for the bet you voided” :-)

Hey guys

So i won alot and i understand it takes time.

And for any other bookie payout within 36 hours is likely never to happen.

I tried a ton of bookies

BUT i was told instant, so i expected it would be instant.
And it wasnt, but i received the 6 BTC cashout 36 hours after.
Which i a pretty good payout time for any bookie out there...

But it was my first time withdrawing here so i was nervous.

Now that i have gotten the BTC i wanna say some good things:
Supports answers super fast
The guy on here seems very helpful (Ronny)
And their odds are really good compared to 365 etc.

Dont think its fair all the blame, i wasnt trying to create a bad picture of them. I just only read good reviews and expected same treatment. But if i have to wait 36 hours for cashouts in that order im fine with it. Anyways im sorted Smiley Atleast this cashout;)

Hey there.

I am a rookie to BTC and new to cloudbet.

However i had a bunch of BTC. And i decided to try cloudbet since all i have read is nice reviews, fast withdrawals etc.

I put in a total of 5-6 BTC and in beginning i lost down to my last 1.80 deposit.

But then i managed to hit literally everything.
NFL, Soccer, Tennis and casino.
And now i made it to 16 BTC.

I have 29 hours ago put in a withdrawal of 6 BTC (pretty much just my initial deposit).

At first the VIP manager contacted me saying it takes couple hours.
It didnt, so i asked someone else. I was told i would have it soon.
This i was told twice in the last 24 hours.

Then around 12 hours ago i got pissed and i said what is going on, i was told it can take up to 24 hours.

25 hours passed, still nothing. So i contacted live support again, he said thanks for my patience (?) and that its coming as soon as possible.

Now when im told something, then something, then something its hard to understand what is going on.
The support insured me there was no technical issues with my withdrawal in last chat.

I have taken photos of all the chats + i have the mails saying the hours it would take.

I can still fully operate with my account etc., no problems there.

But i would just like my withdrawal seen done. I know 29 hours is not much time, but it is when you keep being told its coming soon.

Hope i can get some help here
