1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: Today at 11:55:00 AM
I like monero as it is the first privacy coin, but I think it has already done what needs to be done. Now, it's time for young privacy coins such as Ryocurrency to do something amazing because I only like quality instead of quantity. And when it comes to Cryptonote tech I appreciate the Ryo dev team for their deep research on it. If I'm not wrong RYO lead dev also worked with monero in the past.

1st privacy coin is Bytecoin.

Monero is one of the many forks of Bytecoin, then Monero went its own way.

Regarding the code activity, Ryo github shows NOTHING for months.
He's just a paid shill, check his post history.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: It's official! Innosilicon Grin G32 GPU ASIC Miner Pre Order Cancellation on: Today at 06:36:14 AM
For some strange reason theirs 459.50 KGps of power hashing grin32 right now, lol.  What a scum bag move, just reinforces the idea of never pre ordering.

No one is mining it, there's zero C32 blocks here: https://grinscan.net/
This is just difficulty set by GRIN protocol on C32 now, read more to understand: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/All-you-need-to-know-about-Grin-difficulty,-C29,-C31-fade-out-and-C32

What is the hashrate of 3700X with the latest miner?
Up to 9670 h/s with top low-latency memory: https://i.imgur.com/b95B6kC.png
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen 9 🖥️ 3900x RandomX mining benchmarks on: December 13, 2019, 04:31:35 PM
Hitting 15kh/s + on 3900x now. Could prob push it to nearly 16kh/s but 15 keeps it under 200 watts at the wall  Cool
Is it with MSR mod? What's your memory setup and CPU speed?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RagerX - New All-In-One Monero (XMR) RandomX Miner on: December 12, 2019, 10:12:04 PM
And let me guess, to get the 10% speedup, this OS is required. To eliminate it would mean to lose the 10% gain.
There's no 10% speedup - they straight up lie here. XMRig 5.2.0 gives the same or better hashrate on properly tuned Linux and even Windows (see https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/comments/e9tuvd/randomx_boost_guide_for_ryzen_on_windows_9100_hs/). Basically, set up large/huge pages, MSR mod, no programs running in the background, and you're good without using some closed source ecosystem.

Can anyone try this Ryzen boost mod on Windows? I tested it and got +6% on Ryzen 7 3700X

I've prepared a RandomX boost guide for Windows (it's the same MSR mod as the one I had for Linux before):

https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/comments/e9tuvd/randomx_boost_guide_for_ryzen_on_windows_9100_hs/

It gave me +6% hashrate. Can anyone test it?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen 9 🖥️ 3900x RandomX mining benchmarks on: December 12, 2019, 10:10:23 AM
guys who where telling me that 2 memory sticks will be cap, and there wont be any speed increase if i add more memory where wrong. Ading 2 more sticks to my current system increased my performance by 10% without any over-clocks. Video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeVhjAfgMqw&t
Yes, the theory is that having more independent memory ranks is better for RandomX. Two dual-rank sticks are better than two single-rank sticks, 4 same-rank sticks are better than 2 same-rank sticks. But more sticks and dual-rank sticks usually mean worse timings, so speedup is not guaranteed.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 9 3900x Hashrate goes down.? on: December 12, 2019, 09:30:57 AM
yes, itīs interesting whatīs changing when HR drops.
Power Management all off..
The whole last Week no problems.. runs stable.. but at the last days HR goes down.. very Strange..
But i check on next HR Drop and post the results..
from yesterday till now all 10 Ryzens are running stable.

Did HR drops start with the same version of XMRig you used before? Or did you update it and then HR drops started?

Can anyone proficient in Linux try this RandomX boost guide?

https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/comments/e962fu/9526_hs_on_ryzen_7_3700x_xmrig_520_1gb_pages_msr/

I was able to get +5% on my R7 3700X, I think 9526 h/s is a record for this CPU now.

What kind of power draw are you getting with this setup, I imagine its something north of 150+ watts for the cpu give or take 10 watts.
Right now it's 9614 h/s and 156 W @ the wall (51 W when idle), so CPU itself is drawing 105W. I haven't tried to optimize it yet and I have Vega 64 idling in that PC too, so it's not very efficient.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 9 3900x Hashrate goes down.? on: December 11, 2019, 03:25:17 PM
yes, sure.. will do it next Time, if i see the dropping Hashrate..
Then i post the Results..

Yes, it would be interesting to see if something else uses all CPU or XMRig itself stops mining and uses CPU less. You need to check it in task manager.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 9 3900x Hashrate goes down.? on: December 11, 2019, 02:46:54 PM
before the Fork, i had around 1550H/s.. thats normal..at RandomX 11KH/s.
Stable on all Ryzenīs the First Week on RandomX.
Only at the last 2-3 Days i sometimes see on XMRig only 2300H/s , 3000H/s, and one Time 700H/s..

I Use XMRig 5.1.0, and tested the 5.1.1 too.
Both same Problem sometimes..

i will try the RagerX to check if there are same problems..

Can you check if something else is using your CPU when hashrate goes down? And also run HWInfo and check MHz on all cores and also CPU temperature.

I tested this RagerX yesterday and it was slower than XMRig on my R7 3700X. 8200 h/s RagerX vs 8450 h/s XMRig (all stock 3700X with tuned memory).

well as your the xmrrig dev and are prob optimising your miner for your own equipment its not really a fair comparison is it?
I've seen comparisons where xmrig ran without large pages or where tester was recording a video on the same pc while testing xmrig's hashrate, now this is what I call unfair Cheesy My equipment is pretty standard, I just make sure everything is tested in perfect conditions - properly tuned, no background programs eating CPU, updates and unneeded Windows services turned off etc. I need this to easily reproduce the same hashrate at every test - it's hard to tell if some change in the code improves hashrate +0.1% or makes it worse -0.1% without this kind of stability.

Nice work! Did you start this pool specifically because of RandomX fork?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Ryzen 9 🖥️ 3900x RandomX mining benchmarks on: December 10, 2019, 07:01:34 AM

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: RagerX: Monero pool with affiliate rewards is open for public registration on: December 09, 2019, 11:41:15 PM
Ryzen 7 3700X stock, memory 3200 MHz 14-14-14-28 + optimized sub-timings.

XMRig 5.1.1 on Ubuntu 18.04 = 8450 h/s
XMRig 5.1.1 on Windows 10 = 8770 h/s (CPU boosts higher because of different power plan)
RagerX = 8200 h/s

Plus this RagerX OS didn't put my Vega 64 in low power mode, so it drew more power than needed and probably made CPU a bit hotter too. That's bad for mining efficiency! You have a lot of work to do to catch up with XMRig.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: help with huge pages on: December 03, 2019, 09:59:19 AM
The log you posted indicates that it successfully allocated huge pages for all datasets and all threads. I don't see any issue here.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: December 03, 2019, 06:56:06 AM
just got back to main account

yeah I cant seem to get my threadripper do well on randomx.
Some early 1st gen Ryzen/TRs crash on RandomX, it's a known hardware bug. You need to disable Opcache in BIOS.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RandomX Benchmarks! https://monerobenchmarks.info on: December 02, 2019, 10:11:10 AM
Like i said before 1st 6hours paid good, the 12 hours double decrease rewards, now it is looks like CN4 again Smiley))
People who were too exited where are you?
3930k made on CN4 300h/s = 0.10$
Now on RandomX 1750h/s = 0.20$  Smiley))) woooowww profit doubled....

Can someone help me to survive little more, i have problem with this.
Benchmark shows 2300h/s but it mines at 1750h/s,  MB msi x79 gd45 plus 32gb RAM + 32 GB virtual memory.win10 64bit
2nd problem xmrstak show error at the beginning ALOCMEMORY FAILED. what is this?

3930k should be able to do up to 2500 h/s on RandomX if you use XMRig. Try xmrig.com/wizard to get your initial config.json then just run it and it'll update the config for your CPU and start mining.
P.S. Of course it can only achieve this hashrate if you've enabled huge pages in your OS.
