We will be lowering our house edge at the end of the week. It will go from 1% to 0.9% this is to stay competitive.

We are looking to launch our verison 2 next week as soon as our pentesting firm is done. This version will focus on giving back to all types of users of our site. This is new users and old users!

We will be giving out a 24hr warning, incase people want to withdraw their bitcoins during this time, since we will be down for an extended time.

doesn't look good ...what about those who don't make it in time to withdraw they lose their money?

any previews of V2? V1 won't even load in any of my browsers...are you blocking some countries IP's?

Absolutely NOT, no one has lose any money due to withdraws! We are just letting people know what to expect, because if we didn't then you would call us scammers, but either way I guess we are scammers.

V1 works perfectly, our dev ops have test it against Europe, Asia, USA and Central America. The site loads fine with all those. It maybe cloudfare in the front of our web server, but our hoster is in control of that, and we can't control it.

V2 as we said, will be focused on giving back to users in different ways.

As much as this hurts us to say but tonight we will be blocking tor nodes from connecting to our service. We are announcing this as we know some people that use tor have a balance, and we want those people to have time to get their withdraws in, unless they decide they don't want to use tor on our site anymore.

All the chat spam comes from tor nodes and we don't want to deal with it anymore it takes our resources to make sure these accusations are not true. So the investors and us have decided that this is the best course of action.

Here is the message from our investors:

"Sadly users of our site will have even harder time to be anonymous, as the actions of someone or group of people are just taking too many resources from our development and security team. We are sorry but we need to protect the site's manpower.

This change will happen at 12am EST 7-31-14

We are sorry but again we are the victim of being a great site."

Again we are not a scam, and it is sad that people keep posting this about us. Please if you think we are a scam just stay away, but don't spread false information.

Also it doesn't hurt our profit, it is has yet to go downward, so it is a waste of time.

FastBluff, you keep talking about all these great changes and promotion schemes that your site will have, which will be different and better than what any other site provides.
However, so far 1) you have not committed to any specific changes, and 2) you have not delivered anything.
If I were you I would stop advertising and start delivering.

We have only had the site for a month, when we first got the site we worked 72 hours straight to make the site secure. Which it wasn't as security as we felt safe with under our management. Also we fixed some bugs.

After that we took two weeks to design and figure out what feature we wanted in this release and not.

Right now we are rebuilding the site in a whole new programming language and building everything so it will be easy to extend it. Also we had to scrap a feature cause we found out another site will be implementing it. We don't want to be accused of stealing an idea, which people in this section of the forum will gladly accuse us of doing. They have no problem telling everyone we scam when we don't, I can't imagine what people would do knowing we have a similar feature like other sites.

Then we have hired a pentesting firm to check it over and make sure we are completely safe, this will take sometime.

To be honest we are working hard on our site, 24/7 we work on this site, and to have people like you just come here to tell us go faster is just insulting. We would rather go slow and do it right, then listen to people like you who have no clue how development works.

When will be the invest panel working?

When we get more people playing on it, which our next update will focus alot on. We would like to have our investors make a healthy profit, and right now the site makes good money, but if we need to splitting that money with a lot of different people, it will become extremely small.

Also our investing will work in a different way from all the other sites. It isn't a new way of investing just a different way integrated into the site.

We have some great news to tell the community.

The great news is we survived our first big DDOS attack this morning. Pretty much this entire week and last week people have been hitting us with small DDos attacks that didn't really do much and we manually stopped them. This one was bigger, and knocked us offline for a couple of seconds as our IDS was triggered in action.

When our IDS is triggered into action, this automatically tells our hot wallet to empty everything to the cold storage wallet. We also do a quick offsite backup, of the users, balances and emergency addresses, incase we can't get back to the server, or whatever. This is on top of all the backing up we do anyway. These action were all triggered and performed perfect as well as the IDS regained our servers in minutes.

This did cause problems for two players, who not only didn't attack us in our chat or the thread here, but actually calmly believed in our abilities and emailed us nicely. Which by this time they just wanted their funds since the hot wallet emptied out. We have since paid them and even gave them something extra for their trouble but just for not being trolls! Refilled the hot wallet and now we back on track.

If you still think we are scamming this again proves we are not here to scam!

-Investors and Management team!

Just curious, how are you stopping ddos attacks? Are you using a service like cloudflare, or are you mitigating them with a hardware firewall?

I'm just asking because I'm curious how people mitigate ddos attacks in the real world.

Our IDS sets firewall rules, plus our hoster has a hardware firewall as well. We will never use a service like cloudfare because you have to give them the private key of the SSL certificate and we don't feel that is safe.

By the way. Fast Bluff, What is the intention of the name?
If its what it sounds - I won't register there.

We purchased the site about a month ago, it is the domain that came with the site. I think the intention from the previous owner was that it was fast to gambling on the site.

Please stop reading into our site, looking for a scam, we are not going to scam! We are running an honest site! We would appreciate it if you think we are going to scam you, just don't use the site. It is that easy!
How long this site is exist?

The site has been around since march, and we purchased it last month. As far as I can tell by the double edit ledger and pass forum post no one was was scammed during that time. Since we purchased it, we have paid off all debts.

05c216b8: DONT DEPOSIT 15:04

We are not a scam nor have we ever scammed anyone, over 25K+ users have withdrawn and deposited on our site, with no issues and all have gotten their bitcoins! If we did we wouldn't be posting these claims and we just be deleting. Instead we take them head on.

I want to take a second to explain our actions when we are accused of scamming. First we believe the people that they were scammed by us. Second we start checking our bitcoind instance to make sure it didn't crash, or that it isn't behind in the blocks. We treat our bitcoind node as not trustworthy source and seek external services as our trustworthy node. Third we check our own ledgers, we have a double edit system, so maybe we saw the transaction but didn't credit it to the balance. We rebuild the balance from that ledgers for all users. We then check the address against these other services to see if a transaction of that size was ever sent to the addresses in the first place.

In both these cases, we never got an 8 BTC deposit, and for the other, they never deposited anything. So they were banned for make these false claims, that take resources from other things and put all hands on deck.

Thank you.

I hope to see it back active as soon as it sight! Smiley

We are doing our best and we are spending a lot of money to test different ways of marketing it, and we will bring to be the premier dice site we are envisioning.

But we can't do that without a lot of help from the community, and so far we have some really great members that have reached out to us, with constructive comments, feedback and request. Just like any other startup, I have one direction and vision, but as time goes on we can refine that by using community feedback to drive the actual path of how to get from A to B.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fastbluff.com 1 Million+ bets | 1% House Edge | Come Chat! on: July 27, 2014, 08:00:03 PM
What is the unique in this site of another extra dice? what is new?

Well we just purchased the site the less than a month ago this is what we purchased with minimal updates (Security updates before relaunching it, auditing of the actual probability algo which a lot of sites don't do, and adding small feature request). So for now the only uniqueness of our site is that we are the First and Only dice site to raise a VC seed round of funding from trusted investors. I am hoping that this would show users that we have a long term vision for crypto-currency dice and gambling using crypto-currencies.

We also have a new backend being built from the ground up in a totally new programming language, this takes time. Alot of the site will not look different but the way it functions will be faster. Of course we are adding affiliate earnings and things people have been requesting for awhile. We also will have some things that no other dice game has, allowing both new players and old players to earn bitcoins in fun new ways. You know faucets are getting kinda boring and old now Wink

Not only do we have all that going on, we are also looking to allocate some of our funds to building a dedicated forum for cryptocurrency gambling. We are still very early in this process, but we want to step up and really make a positive community not only for sites, but also people that just enjoy gambling.

We are heavy invested here, and not leaving anytime soon!

43f60b86: be careful this is a known scam site

If we were a scam site, wouldn't we have deleted this message instead of posting it. Also we have 27K+ users registered in our database. About 80% of those users have done both deposit and withdraw at least once. If we were a known scam site wouldn't we have a lot more people posting about not getting their money back? Do a search for "fastbluff" you will see no references to a scamming in anyway.

Please don't listen to the false information about us.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - INSTANT WITHDRAWALS- Bitcoin Dice - Rain Bot- Leaderboards - INVEST on: July 26, 2014, 06:46:07 PM
@dooglus do you support prcdice?

I don't have an opinion either way.

I have played and invested there a little, but have done neither for a while now.

I considered joining the PRC signature campaign since I'm not using my signature for anything, but that would make it look like I endorse the site, and I don't feel like I know enough about it to do that. I heard an ugly rumour that the whole thing runs on a Windows server which is kind of scary when handling money. But I doubt that's true.

I will leave this here http://builtwith.com/PRCDice.eu

c640e975: BTC Wagered:131.838 hahahahah

Some people don't believe that we had a lot of bitcoins wagered on our site. We have had some big rollers on our site! We will be thinking about the best way to make this data more accessible to the public!

Not interested in a scam dice site, sorry mate.

We are not a scam dice site. We have never scammed in anyway! We are currently the only and first dice site to raise capital from actual investors! If this doesn't prove we aren't out to scam then you are just loyal to a brand and that is ok, but don't spread lies about our site.

Anytime we get or are notified of a negative post about us we will be answering it here.

Well guess I'm scratching fastbluff off Bitcoininformation will be surprised to see this one.

This is our last signature campaign week, you all can blame Sed, we are going to just use traditional ads, we were enjoying this until the trolls showed up. Gweedo will be making an announcement tomorrow as he is really the one that pulled the plug on this!

That seems like an awfully disproportionate response, for what I assume was a simple misunderstanding. Oh well, I guess that's why people often hire someone else to do this for them. Roll Eyes

Yah, kinda surprising.  However I suppose it reveals that there were many other issues just below the surface.  I mean, the guy was ready to drop a nuclear bomb over the fact that I wanted him to pay me for 6 posts (which I made with his signature) and he was refusing to pay.  Obviously there's more here than meets the eye.

EDIT: the site is now down too, weird.

The site has never been down, please don't spread false information!
20  Economy / Services / Re: FastBluff.com is piloting a Signature Campaign! [Highest Paying Campaign] on: July 23, 2014, 03:03:34 AM
We are not paying you end of story, you didn't follow the policy can you now leave this thread. You are just off-topic, and the mods will start cleaning this thread after you leave.

Not off-topic at all. Actually, his concerns are extremely relevant to this thread. This is exactly the type of stuff I look for when a new campaign starts.....

Thanks, FastBluff. Good to know.

You are officially ban from any of contest. Smiley

I think you two forgot, we are paying for a service, not the other way around. We made a simple policy that Sed couldn't follow, doesn't really get anymore simpler than that.
