1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: April 24, 2021, 01:40:00 PM
Does anyone have more information about Haveno dex exchange

At the moment it's just a Proof of Concept created by some well-known Monero project contributors.
The main target is a native Monero DEX (low fee & privacy) and Fiat <-> XMR because that is missing on bisq. Other coins <-> XMR is possible on bisq.

My question is if wrapped Monero transactions are traceable. If they are, I'm not interested in.
Wrapped Monero could be interesting in 2-3 years when the Tari protocol is ready.

I think that Monero, as the most popular anonymous coin, should open its own decentralized exchange!
(The source code of such projects is available on the net)

Collect all anonymous coins on this exchange, so Monero will become the most popular and central anonymous coin and, together with other projects, will protect anonymity.

Or is Monero team afraid of other altcoins?

The problem is, someone has to do it. Wink

Tor Hidden-Service P2P DEX Bisq is running very well. Roll Eyes When Bitcoin<=>Monero atomic swap is ready it will be integrated.
Most of the coins have unfortunately been removed due to insufficient demand or inactivity. Anyone can list an asset for a few BSQ. Maybe XZC will come again. When the Lelantus privacy protocol is up next week.
Monero is the most traded on Bisq.

Real question shoud be are Monero transactions traceable because ciphertrace as filed 2 patents and are claiming that they have cracked the monero privacy.
[/quote]

Oh no, not that nonsense again.  Embarrassed Cry
The patents were not approved.
The topic has been discussed for months now.  Angry

Bittrex delisted Monero along with ZCash and Dash which was a weird decision sparking concerns about a regulator crackdown on privacy coins.
Who needs Bittrex. Huh Support the exchanges that also support Monero.

Open source developer grants from Kraken have also been available for XMR for a few weeks now.

Is cold staking possible?

48 MASTERNODES NOW ACTIVE ON THE NETWORK!

8-24-2020

getmasternodecount

  "total": 48,
  "stable": 48,
  "enabled": 48,
  "inqueue": 48,
  "ipv4": 9,
  "ipv6": 39,
  "onion": 0

WTF! 0 masternodes with .onion address  Huh Shocked
The project makes huge advertising for TOR Tor USB wallet. But not a single masternode behind Tor!? All can only be reached via Tor exit nodes. There are a lot of seedy relays online this year:
https://medium.com/@nusenu/how-malicious-tor-relays-are-exploiting-users-in-2020-part-i-1097575c0cac
Tor hidden services (.onion addresses) do not use an exit relay, you stay in the Tor network.

There are currently 353 masternodes behind Tor in the PIVX network on October 22nd, 2020
