1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beat CoinMarketCap on: January 03, 2020, 09:44:17 AM
Prices at coinmarketcap are not exact but average of large crypto exchanges. CMC has simple interface and in just one or two scrolls you get to know how crypto market is behaving. Don’t rely on CMC price list, check prices at exchange if you want exact picture of any crypto coin.

Agreed. CMC is a great site for summary, but rather deal with my own exchange than the headache of jumping around every one listed at CMC.

Obviously NASA is behind it, keeping the flat Martians at bay!

Not sure what you're on about. I've been keeping track of this site over the past year and I was glad to see the visual redesign and looking forward to the payment mainnet release. It's got some great potential. According to the telegram thread, they say everything is on schedule, so I'll be keeping an eye out for updates.

Seems that everything is on track. I just listened to the the SIG interview with the CEO and excited to see more.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of bounty campaign. on: December 04, 2019, 07:08:45 AM
The bear market over the past couple years aren't helping people's enthusiasm either. When (if) the market begins to recover, we'll probably see an untick in bounty excitement too.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: December 04, 2019, 05:13:39 AM
I think we should not panic, this is just the price fluctuation of Ethereum. Currently the market has not fully recovered, the market has not shown any signs of growth, so the price of Bitcoin and most altcoins is still very low. If we persevere and overcome this difficult period, I believe that in the future we will have a lot of profits

From the looks of it, there is sadly still a lot of recovery time to go.
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin gambling on: December 04, 2019, 03:34:10 AM
I've read about blockchain projects main for probability wagers, but none specifically using bitcoin that I recall.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 04, 2019, 03:17:56 AM
I'm curious, but haven't really looked into it too much. How lucrative are bounty opportunities now with the decline of ICOs in the past couple years?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Did Satoshi Nakamoto Choose 21M as Bitcoin’s Maximum Supply? on: December 04, 2019, 02:17:29 AM
I seriously doubt there is any hidden meaning. Maybe just whimsy or a personal lucky number.

...or he's a big fan of blackjack

Applications of btc are still way too niche. When vendors start making it more mainstream, I'm sure it'll start becoming more widespread.
