1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $TRUSD an elestic yet stable digital asset on: January 09, 2020, 03:33:03 AM
Hi, my name is Kalen Dangerfield. I'm the Co-founder and CEO of United Trust, the company operating TrustUSD. I'd like to go into the detail about our project, TrustUSD. I will have to start by saying, TrustUSD is NO SCAM. We have been very transparent with our practice, and you would know this if you took the time to join our lines of social media. Regarding the whitepaper, I will admit that I handled it the wrong way. We actually hired a group out of Singapore to create the whitepaper and your findings are news to us as well. Prior to seeing your comment, I had never read any of those tokens' whitepapers so the group that wrote our whitepaper will be dealt with accordingly. Our business model isn't currently being practiced anywhere, so to say it is plagiarized is simply false. We differ from the major stable assets by taking a decentralized approach to stablecoins as we know it. The mistake I made was telling the group to use popular stable asset whitepapers as references to find ways to explain details. I never would have signed off on a plagiarized whitepaper by any means. You mentioned an article from thebitcoinpub? I’ve never heard of that article. By your logic, all stablecoins are copying each other because they use the same business models, correct? You’re being extremely unfair with that claim. To my knowledge, we are only project with this business model that’s also actively trading on exchanges. Our business model is working and people see the value in it. I’d also like to address your claims about “paid shill accounts.” Those are real people who see the value in TRUSD, and it’s absurd for you to suggest that it’s all made up. I have better ways to spend my time then pretending to fool people. This token was designed to be a viable stable asset for people residing in underbanked regions of the world. I receive messages all the time from investors who are happy with the job that I am doing and their vision for the future of this project. I made a mistake and I am here addressing your concerns because they are certainly valid. Guilty people would flee. I am not. I’m here because I care about the people we serve and the people we will serve. I’d love to discuss this further with you on Telegram @kdangerf. I would hate for you to have a bad idea of who we are because of a whitepaper mistake. Many projects have the same problems. In the world of cryptocurrencies, it’s easy for words to sound similar unintentionally as well. I’m pleased to inform you that the necessary changes are being made. We are undergoing considerable growth as well. Users are currently participating in our interest incentive program which allows you to earn interest for holding tokens for 30, 60, 90, or 120 days. It’s really great. Especially since we are still in the beginning stages. There are more opportunities similar to that planned with more growth that we still receive because some people will see the ability for us to learn and grow.  The point I keep stressing is that I genuinely care about the people we serve and our investors who have been supporting us wholeheartedly. As far as discussing Brendan, that is personal slander and should not be tolerated on this website. He’s a very smart individual and offers great insight. Your claims are based on what exactly? None of us are perfect. The main thing that we’re doing here is righting our wrongs which is very important. As I mentioned before, I’d love to talk to you one-on-one and address any questions you might have. It’s not healthy to spread the FUD on here. This site is already extremely toxic for new projects, so why play into it? All we can do now is learn from our mistakes and be the best group of people we can be representing this project. I hope this response clears things up for you and anyone else with similar concerns.

This looks like a scam to me and clone copy of TrueUSD token.
Just few guys that wrote a bunch of random words and tweaked words and a logo.

Hi! I am the Co-Founder and CEO of TrustUSD. We decided on the name TrustUSD because our goal is to build trust between us and the people we serve, and USD for our active price target. It's very unfair to judge something without understanding it first. Our logo isn't a copy of TrueUSD or Tether. Others have expressed the similarities between the logos and we are addressing this. You should take a look at SALT and BAT's logos. They are two totally different projects with somewhat of a similar logo. The point I'm trying to make is that logos mean different things to different people. I hope this helps you understand my point of view in regards to your comment. If you would like to speak to me directly, please feel free to message me on Telegram t.me/kdangerf. Thank you!
