1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: April 10, 2021, 08:17:59 AM
I'm not on discord. I'm not a dev too, I could not help.

@PeterColumboFalk seems like you server works fine while I've just discovered mine was absolutely of no help in all the months I'm keeping it alive.
Would you please let me see your slimcoin.conf, so I'll be able contribute to the net security with my servers as well?

My conf is very common. The dedicated host is not behind a firewall or router, but has a direct connection to the internet.

Code:
rpcuser=...
rpcpassword=...
daemon=1
maxconnections=64

I have trouble too. My home staking wallet (v0.6.0 on windows 8.1) does not mint since I restarted it about two months ago. I restarted it some times but no success. And it has only three active connections. It's uptodate with the CryptoID explorer.  I enable minting with the command
Code:
walletpassphrase "XXXXXXXX" 99999999 true

If starting the pivxd, it cancels with the message, that he cannot start the http server. Never have seen this before on other coins. What am I missing?

wallet version 5.0.1 on ubuntu 20.04 LTS. On this host I use CLI, not GUI.

@Tranz

I red about a limit of 120 million coins. It's over this limit now, but the "Current PoS Yearly Interest" is at 27%. What is wrong with the wallet software? With this longterm inflation the coin is really nonsense, and the investors have been ripped-off. I'm rather sure this is not done by intention, but the algo should be reviewed and changed soon.

This is the end of alpha, not boolberry. stex is KYC, we need another trading platform.

What is the reason for the deletion of small fee transfers? They vanish in a very short time period.

I tried a deposit into freix, and a withdraw from freix, and both have been running fine.

My linux host 185.150.190.19 is on block 2365695 now, and so is my home minting wallet on windows. But the 22 connections of my linux host are all back a lot of blocks, why? This is a really nerd project.

...
But what's not that clear to me. If we have 6 servers online, why is it my local wallet has only 1 connection?

I have this behaviour too. My minting homewallet currently says "3 active connection(s) to Slimcoin network), and command getpeerinfo tells me about two connections at the same time. Yesterday evening I did "addnode 185.150.190.19" to my homewallet, and I wonder why host 185.150.190.19 does not forward some of his 22 connections (maxconnections=64) to my homewallet.

Homewallet is version 0.6.0 on Windows 8.1.

I deleted the last blockchain from february because of uncertenty. There are two blockchains remaining now:

Code:
ftp://185.150.190.19/chain-slm.slimcoin_v0.6.0_20-12-12.tgz
ftp://185.150.190.19/chain-slm.slimcoin_v0.6.0_d21-01-17.tar

Host 185.150.190.19 did not mint until now, is planned in the future. The current block is 2363595.

CryptoID explorer seems to make a full blockchain syncronisation.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: February 23, 2021, 10:10:30 PM
This is the most current slim chain for linux, block 2361801 in accordance to the cryptoID explorer:

Code:
ftp://185.150.190.19/chain-slm.slimcoin_v0.6.0_d21-02-23.tgz

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 15, 2021, 02:51:34 PM
Is Elon Musk just losing his interest in DOGE or is he just spreading this so he could buy some more cheap doges?

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1361094185412100096 'If major Dogecoin holders sell most of their coins, it will get my full support. Too much concentration is the only real issue imo.'
...

If this is really true, the Doge hype did not work out for him, very good. Now it becomes a strenuous live to him.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 13, 2021, 11:01:30 PM
NO, he is a nearly nothing, like any other leader too. The move is made by the masses.

The masses need a leader, and this they create a leader. But the leader itself is nearly nothing, a wrapper only.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 13, 2021, 10:48:50 PM
NO, it's not him who controls the market, it's his followers. And they are the losers.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 13, 2021, 10:31:37 PM
I believe Elon has a boyfriend or girlfriend or relative, who bought too much of Doge. That's all, this is my conspiracy.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 10, 2021, 11:41:49 AM
Elon manipulates and pumping Doge which causes real people to lose money.
It went from funny to irresponsible to ridiculous very fast...
Enough is enough

One can learn from it and scrutinize, if the opposite of the recommendation is true. This applies to all other oligarchs too. It has a reason, why these guys become this rich. It's the energy of all followers. And it's the guilt of the followers too. They want to become rich, which would destroy the world, and therefore they harvest poverty.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [FAKE]Stay Away From Big Pump Signal Groups on: February 07, 2021, 11:01:57 AM
... The sad thing is that people will again be the part of the next pump even if they lose their money in the previous pump.  Sad

And even if they will win in the previos group, they will lose their money in the next group.
