1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can't withdraw on rocketpot.io after their 'airdrop' on: August 06, 2021, 05:36:59 PM
I'm not this naive, I know there are rules to withdraw any bonus.

But the very least a player can expect from any casino is

1/ define clear T&C for any promotion
2/ be abble to explain it wia email or chat

Clearly rocketpot fails both points... But their are still welcome to do it here or by email Wink

2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can't withdraw on rocketpot.io after their 'airdrop' on: August 06, 2021, 06:32:48 AM
Lol! No businesses entity will give you 100 usd without any strings attached. This 3x play amount requirement is a wagering requirement. But if you have really played with 3x of the bonus amount, then you shouldn't face any issue.

Rocketpot has a bitcointalk thread,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178376.0

Owner's profile link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2641009

Also the owner seems to be actively visiting the forum. Raise your concern over there to receive faster resolution.
actually Rocketpot.io OP is not actively posting but getting only last August 2. and this is a clear issue as the poster had been completely followed the instruction and even wagered 3x more than the required for airdrop meaning he complied to all the desired of the site yet not answering for the last 10 days? while OP is actively emailing and messaging them ? this only mean 1 thing , their support is suck and their team is not worth sending issues towards their site, if they can manage making 100$ withdrawal a big problem then what more if you need to claim much bigger amount?
Sorry but i think this kind of site must be avoided and never try your luck.

Totally agree, their support is a joke. They quickly responded "they will look into your problem and get back to me shortly.", then they did nothing. And they don't answer anymore...

Regarding the T&C, it both says that a bonus can be withdrawn once the betting requirement is reached which is the case, and they can do whatever they anyway.
Lol, what kind of T&C is thart?!

Btw the airdrop was notified by an email, with no T&C attached.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can't withdraw on rocketpot.io after their 'airdrop' on: August 05, 2021, 01:20:58 PM
...Great news! I tried to withdraw it, it was impossible, message "you did not play 3x de deposit amount". Not really an airdrop then....
Conditional airdrop hehe. Was there another requirement that you may have missed like depositing an amount before you could withdraw?

I also visited their thread here and it looks like there have been many issues on delayed processing of withdrawals https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178376.480 Your case is a bit different but it seems they have a problem with their system and everything has to be checked manually. Just wait for their response.

No T&C, and no condition mentioned by their support so I guess no.

That's confortable for a site to have everything working smoothly but withdrawals  Grin

I do not deposit or play anymore on rocketpot.io. I was there for their crash game and they removed it...

However, I received a $100 airdrop from them two week ago.

hey Axxxxxxx,

We hope you had a great time playing on Rocketpot!

Great news: we've airdropped 99.84 USD to your account!

Once you click activate, 99.84 USD will be instantly credited to your account for free.

Great news! I tried to withdraw it, it was impossible, message "you did not play 3x de deposit amount". Not really an airdrop then....

So I tried to play more than $300 in order to be abble to withdraw.
I managed to beat the roulette because my balance reached 0,02769444BTC.

I then tried to withdraw, and I had the same message. I did contact the support, and they quickly responded:

Hello Axx, we will look into your problem and get back to you shortly.

But 10 days later, no news. I emailed them 2 days ago, no response...
It is still impossible to withdraw (message "you did not play 3x the deposit amount").

What is your experience with rocketpot.io? Any chance I'd be allowed to withdraw?...

Just checked your site out and was surprised to see a scammy site like 1xbit on your list. I recommend removing it asap since there are many pending scam accusations against them and there are much better alternatives out there.

Yes, that’s the same problem with a LOT of affiliate sites. On the one hand, they claim to provide best reviews. On the other, they rank in higher positions bitcoin gamblilng sites known to bet scams.
I use  https://bet1coin.com which gives useful reviews. For what I know, they ban any suspicious sites on their pages. I hope it’ll stay this way….
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin boom or burst ? how to analyzed? on: February 21, 2020, 07:28:10 AM
Why should this matter? Bitcoin is supposed to be a currency and if you use it as a currency, you should not be worried about things like this. Yes, it is a added bonus if the price can increase a little over time, because you do not want a currency to lose it's value, like with all other Fiat currencies.

Let’s say you have $100k in your account. Regarding your expenses, this kind of money is enough for the next 4 years for you.
Now you decide to switch to BTC and Buy 10BTC. As a result, you don’t know if it will be worth $30k or $300k in 6 months (possibly $15k or $700k).

Well, that sounds like a big problem for me as a currency…..
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 12, 2020, 05:25:11 PM
Everyday people lose access to their wallets, send Bitcoins to wrong addresses. It results in Bitcoins being lost forever. In the meantime, there is no way to prevent it.

So, let’s suppose that Bitcoin would exist forever. It means that at some point there won’t be any coin left in the network…

I know there are other implications/discussions about Bitcoin supply. But I’d like to limit this topic to this concern (Bitcoins lost).

Is  the 21M BTC supply promise realistic?

i do not understand your question, it is not realistic, it is real and immutable fact, so yes that is the final number, which cannot be changed...
if all of us loose their access to respective wallets, there will be few BTC left, but supply will not grow, that is for sure

It's not immutable. Bitcoin is a technology under development.....

9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Is CSGOfast a scam ? on: January 24, 2020, 05:16:12 PM
It claims to operate on license № 8048/JAZ2018-061.

Game-protect says that casinos using  8084/JAZ licenses are scam. (https://game-protect.com/curacao-license-scam/)

Does it make CSGOFast a scam for sure?

 #One world currency

I don't see how bitcoin mainstream adoption wouldn't lead to other cryptocurrencies adoption...
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: January 17, 2020, 06:30:23 PM
I see that you promote Cloudbet on your website, a site that contacted me and that my team elected NOT to include in our ranking because on many bad reviews online...

One example of it: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/anhgn4/cloudbet_is_scam_they_are_not_paying_for_winning/
So you are right and I'm wrong ? the opposite ?
I suppose the truth is somewhere in the middle Wink

Would you mind giving a little bit more details about the last scam case of 500mBTC ? I could try to talk to my contact there (anastasiya) and push it to know better what happen from their POV ?

Not that I want to defend them, more that I want to confront them and make me my own opinion receiving their explanations.. (still with the intention of deciding if we keep them in our listing)

But so far (1.5 month collaboration) they pay commission every week and their affiliate system has been well thought imo

Avoid scamming people than bring you money/victims sounds like common sense...
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: January 15, 2020, 09:59:21 AM
1xbit sounds more than suspiscious to me, but I understand what SoniaBlack means.

On one hand, It is difficult to avoid scam because most review sites could profitably promote scammer through affiliate programs.
One the other hand, most reliable posts here come from people taking part of the gambling industry. They could have an interest to make bad publicity.  Even Game Protect could hardly be impartial since it is making money in this business (doing both affiliation and enforcement).

I do believe everyone here  is honest (except 1xbit_com).
It is just difficult to find reliable information. It’s not specific to crypto gambling, but since a lot of operators are  in a grey area it is easier for scammer I guess….
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creating a Bitcoin Ecosystem - Earn & Spend on: January 13, 2020, 08:25:18 PM
...

The most famous purchase of goods with bitcoin was by Laszlo Hanyecz
Back in 2010 when he bought 2 Pizzas for 10,000 coins.

...

There are many ways to earn and spend, are you adding to the ecosystem?

I started buying BTC 3 years ago to HODL only.

Right now, I feel the same way that you do, so I try to keep buying BTC and pay in BTC when I can like gambling... I could end up spending more BTC than I buy.

Still looking for a way to earn BTC.

Who is willing to buy Pizzas ?

How can I use Bitpay as a customer ?
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Is Expedia still accepting Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2020, 05:05:03 PM
I was wondering if Expedia is still accepting Bitcoin.

I tried to book a flight and an hotel from France (expedia.fr).
Bitcoin is not a payment option.

That being said I keep finding articles saying that Expedia accept Bitcoin in 2020.

So, Is Expedia still accepting Bitcoin?
For which products?
