2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / V Systems pump / BitHumb Listing on: March 04, 2020, 10:06:49 AM
Howdy.

Today's been pretty awesome for VSYS.

It's up 50% today so far, most likely due to the listing on BitHumb.

As you can tell from my handle, I'm a bit of a VSYS enthusiast.

I think we're heading back to summertime prices for VSYS-- about 20-25 cents.

But hey, I'm a VSYS perma-bull....

What's your opinion?

Since Bitcoin is a hedge against instability, the coronavirus outbreak is likely to aid Bitcoin prices.

Especially since it seems like we aren't being told the whole truth about the virus.  Distrust in government is very healthy for the price of Bitcoin, IMO.

Hey, thanks so much for all your replies!

So, I'm just curious what coins people here are staking.

Personally, I'm staking V Systems and Cosmos.

Why V Systems?

Well, when you stake V Systems you get the native token, VSYS and you also get the token of the first project to launch in their ecosystem, IPX.  They call this Staking 2.0 and they're going to roll it out across a number of different projects.  I'm pretty excited about getting a piece of every partner project.

Why Cosmos?

I'm staking Cosmos because they've got a network of blockchains going, and by staking Atom tokens you can profit from the interactions between those blockchains.  Of course, IBC (inter-blockchain communication) isn't launched just yet, but it does look like it'll be delivered on time and fully functional.  Excited about this ecosystem.

Enough about me though!  What are you staking? Why?

I agree with OP that V Systems is looking great for this year.

They've got a lot of project launches coming up, and Staking 2.0 means that users earn several of their ecosystem tokens just by staking VSYS.  One of my favorite holdings.

yep, I'm quite enthusiastic about V Systems and the staking ecosystem they're building out, as well.  I think it's going to be a very interesting ride!

What do you think the hottest alts will be this year?

Very interested in getting strong opinions on this.

Why dont you tell us your opinion first? If you are asking this way, everyone will obviously shill their own bags. But yea lets give it a try, my top picks are:

I didn't share my opinion because I wanted to get an actual sampling of what people think Smiley

Now, that said, since I did ask everyone their opinion, I'll gladly share mine.  I'm really into the next-generation coins:

  • Cosmos
  • Polkadot
  • V Systems
  • Litecoin
  • Zcash

Sure, Polkadot hasn't launched yet, but seems a very interesting project.  Cosmos & V Systems because of the strength of their team and technology.  V Systems seems to attract quality projects.   Litecoin because it's basically Bitcoin Wink.  Zcash because it still seems to be the best privacy solution running.

Cheers, and thanks for shilling your bags!
