I am having about 1000 asic miners and gpu rigs in China right now and looking for a place in Canada to move my miners over here in Canada. I live in British Columbia and don't care where the mining facility is, just has to be within Canada. 2000-3000 kw would be ideal

I am willing to build/buy the facility/do the electricity transformation myself, so if anyone has a plan or is capable with taking care of this, please contact me. bruceparker1920@gmail.com

When you don't have to actually manage the farm in person it's a lot less worrisome... it lets you focus on just securing the coins and running the operation. For most of us in the mining forum it is messing around with the hardware that we all find attractive, much more so than monetary contributions at times (because who doesn't like looking for a dropped screw in a running rig with ambient temps of 95F with lights low to save heat/power).
Lol running a farm can definitely be troublesome I know man, I can imagine the picture lol. I wish to run a farm here in Canada.

Yeah I remember back to the days of mining BTC with GPUs in 2011. I had horrible internet and power access at my mining location, so of course I would get notifications at 3:30AM that all the rigs went offline. I would get out of bed, drive to the location which was in a very bad part of town I carried mace or a crowbar with me, and then have to reset the miners only to get the same notification as soon as I got home. Some days I would mine an 0.2BTC which was hard to come by because MtGox stopped taking Dwolla or something like that so mining was my only option.

Sometimes it's just easier to just click the buy button and eat pizza while watching fellow miners on Youtube fight with rigs lol.
Now you look back those days, you certainly find those good old days funny and meaningful, I love the experience you had with your miners, it must be a very memorable experience for you and it's not easy to keep mining till now, good for you man!

Hey guys, I have been away for a while, I am pretty sure I got my first batch at 65% break even already, and I have been adding another 98 eight-card rig for myself and my friends, so totally I am holding 131 right now. This investment is getting more and more legit.

Wow, 131 cards rig that's huge!! After the addition of those rigs, what's the investment value is at right now?

With the increase of 98 cards, there's bound to be a nice surge of electric fee for you, right?
Hi, so the elec fee is definitely much more than before, and we are moving our rigs to another location with 0.0515 usd. And total investment here is about 131k usd right now, with average of 1000 usd per 8-card rig. Since I added a lot when the market is high, so some of them might be a bit overpriced, but whatever man lol.

The profit is 21 usd per rig today...crazy market..

I tried to buy another 20 rigs and the market price has gone upto 1170 usd per rig.

Are you selling the ETHs you earned right away or HODLing them to get a better rate during the ETH 2.0 mainnet hype? I for one am not selling the ETHs I am getting using mining.
I just sell them asa I get them, maybe when I break even, I will hold some of them.

Hey Bruce,

Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy following your thread.  Smiley

I'm canadian as well and recently started a small mining operation in a barn in the back of my yard. P106 as well, but 090, so mine are 3Gb. I can't mine ETH with that, but RVN has been my holy grail so far and pretty stable in terms of profits. Plus, those cards are so cheap it doesn't require a lot of investment. I order directly from China as well and managed to get my power cost even lower than what you're paying for; $0.045 USD per kWh. This is what makes it profitable - no way it could work with the usual power cost in the US.

Wish I could put 30K like you do, but since I can't, I hope patience will pay! Wink It's far from you in terms of size as a project, but your numbers are a motivation somehow!

I also found the fact somehow else is hosting those rigs for you interesting; maybe it's a service I could offer at some point! I would max out my panel pretty fast, but for around 5K I can get a new one installed, so perhaps that would be worth it...

Anyway!

Wish you all the best success in that project! Smiley

Hey it is pretty excited to find someone doing this in Canada too! Thanks for sharing! I tried to find some places with cheap elec but didn't work out lol

Where do you live? Iam in Victoria,BC, hopefully we can meet sometime!

And sorry for being missed for several days lol, I was quite lazy these days...

Sheet is updated!

currently at 22.6% of my breaking even progress! the 27th day!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I bought 30 grand usd worth of P106 and hosted them in China! on: August 21, 2020, 07:40:42 AM
Got paid 0.6494 eth today, and sold at 427,

Too lazy to update the sheet...

It seems to be hard to keep doing this everyday damn...

You can automate it bro Smiley .. Google Sheets has easy functions to grab the information. Link it to the explorer and it should be able to get the transactions. Selling price you have to fill yourself as it is different from Exchange to another Smiley.
Thanks for pointing it out! I will try to do it later!

Nothing much these days, the profit has been stable at $7.5 per rig after elec,

And regularly I sold them all to usdt.

Currently I am at 17.2% of my breaking even progress, and today is the 19.5th day since I started.

It's better to put it this way..

Buying coins can be either heaven or hell

Mining is steady and meaningful to blockchain

If you are so certain about the bull run, why not sell your house and all in eth?

I guess you didn't do that, right?

Just different choice, no need to put buying coins at supremacy

Btw, I love mining lol

I don't see why buying coins is better than mining. Gpu mining can be really safe since my power-off price of eth is 75, and nobody's sure of the future. So even if it goes to 150, I am still gaining profit, just extending my break even time. Holding the coins can be hard because you will never know what price will crash you. If you can't hold it, it means nothing. And most people can't hold it including myself. Some of the people bought at 1200 are still crying if he holds till now, and remember that was a bullish market. I guess people will never learn. Smiley

Got paid 0.7776eth today, and 0.5589 eth yesterday,

I kept today's eth due to the drop

Sheet is not updated, I am on the trip to banff!

Got a 25' motorhome from cruisecanada, it is a totally different experience from in an suv!

https://cn.etherscan.com/address/101bC5811A3b24538b5Ffd3fec6691Dfa4f20D45

You hold all your ETH, why you write you sell it every day? Strange
I was just holding it due to the drop for one day and you call it I hold it everyday? Strange.

You must have misunderstood that it is ether value, not eth amount.

I sell it to usdt everyday and leave them in my account. I think that's why.
