Im starting a GPU mining farm, just because i got really cheap power. I have nearly 50kw available for only 0.037 cents a kw/h.
First 10kw are in with 70x RX5700 gpus
Some pointers if you're just starting out. . For the cheapest CPU like G4400, 8 GPUs per system is fine and anything above it will start to cause issues. . Go with a Linux distro & try to automate most of the stuff. Windows will definitely take a lot of time to maintain it. . Make sure to clean your rigs from time to time. Dust is the major enemy for card damages compared to anything out there. . Use Ethernet cables for the internet rather than WiFi as the latency will be less. . If you're BIOS modding and the card does not have dual bios switch. Backup BIOS for each and every card before modding it. Thank you are you mining yourself? What suggestion would you have for cooling? Summers are quite hot here in peak about 30-40C. |

Well, it depends on how Bitcoin's price will progress over this year due to Ethereum is the follower of the king. In fact, I am pretty that Eth's price will touch $ 1K but after Bitcoin halving, possibly, this prediction will happen when Bitcoin's price rise to $ 18K or $20K , I advise everyone invest into these best coins, because you will certainly earn an acceptable profit in a safe way.
BTC is biggest player and a lot demands from it. If it will keep going up im sure eth will do well. It better should do, placed to big bet on it ...ha If BTC crashes everything else will crash. Not just Ethereum but majority of altcoins are greatly depending on the bitcoin price. And with the incoming bitcoin halving and the updated version of eth, we can expect that ethereum will definitely gain a very positive price making it reach another ATH. Once bitcoin will make a very high price increase, ethereum too will never be left behind having its price maybe ranging from 400$-500$ i guess by that time. 400-500$ would be my minimum target after seeing todays gains. Personally, I believe that everyone can fall into the hands of scammers. And man is a creature that can be wrong. But a beginner just has a better chance of falling into the hands of scammers, and so you need to be very careful. For the future, I want to say that if a person decided to do cryptography, then he should already understand the essence of this serious issue.
We need some king scam study. These post really does help for those people who read them . Just to have experience and be aware of the scams out there. Those schemes change all the time, but basics are the same. Just be safe out there. |

For how long are you willing to mine Ethereum? because very soon your mining rigs won't be able to mine Ethereum because of the upcoming upgrade called ETH 2.0, the only way to get Ethereum will be through Proof Of Staking algorithm
hmm do you have source of this? I have seen that proof of stake wont be there for years and mining eth will be ok. The most important what i researched is i need alt east 6gb graphic cards, because of the DAG file, and 4gb wont be valid anymore in 24th December 2020 |

I also want to start mine ethereum, i don't know how to setup program for it. Which program to use?
Using HiveOS , easiest mining software to use . installation guide here.Does this software supports hardware monitoring , looking for some kind of automated solution. |

Think RX570 is quite good choice for my electric rate. RX5700 is not far of price per hash and they at least are latest technology.

Hey everyone.
Im new to crypto and new to mining. Past couple of month was studying crypto and think i now understand it quite well. I have made decision to get into ETH mining. I was reading that mining isnt that profitable, but some posts i found in 2017. People where making fortune. And now i think i understand how the mining works. If you are in mining already , when coin price skyrockets you make lots. When coin price down you make nothing. I have very good rate of electric, so i think im ahead of most of the mining farms. I have 40kw available at 0.04 cents.
Could you please recommend GPU for mining Ethereum.
