1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain Repair 1 S17+ for 3 months on: March 16, 2021, 06:13:52 AM
After 3 months  repair, Bitmaps send me a burned S17+ and it is falling apart and with badly burned smell.
That sucks!

You should make out complaints about that matter on how the hell you've been given back with a burned s17. You sent out the rig for making out some repair not just on giving some another crap.

that do really shows some unprofessionalism towards their business. This is one of the cons when you do really have some broken rig is that when claiming out some warranty would really be a pain in the ass
because of lots of factors that make you worry like;

-transport of miner (back and forth) cost
-Indefinite duration
-possible been stolen
-Wont be fixed inspite of long time waiting.

is not suck only. is a horrible and disgusting act.
this case happened at the timing of Bitcoin started to grow crazy.
and they said their repair site was down.
also my order was set DHL for the delivery, but they sent it back with SF Express.
but I know that is not damaged by SF Express.
i should pass this case to hong kong police and newspaper. just let everyone know how shhhit of this company.

There seems to be a huge backlog in bitmain's hong kong repair centers that they had to suspend the other branch from receiving anymore repairs. It is very likely that the other branch is in no different position in terms of backlog.

article created on: February 18, 2021, Updated March 3, 2021

Due to the backlog of goods, the HK-TUEN Mun (屯门仓) repair site suspends receiving products.

Try to also get in touch with the branch where you sent them. 3 months ago from now is uhh December 6, 2020, then did you send it to the Tuen Mun branch? There was an update where parcels are to be sent there after Nov 19th, 2020. Try to call them in the telephone numbers below.

Our Hong Kong repair site address has be updated from 19th Nov 2020. The previous repair site will be closed for any parcels after 19th Nov 2020, and we will not be able to collect and process them for repair.  Please send your machines to the new one from now on.

yes.. I did sent to the site in tuen mun (Flat B, 4/F., Century City Industrial Building, 1 Tsing Yeung Circuit, Tuen Mun, N.T. HongKong.)
and it was delivered and the status on bitmain website is Collected too.
that mean they had confirmed the delivery.
and also this address i had confirmed with their staff via email and phone call.

after the status stuck at collected for 20 days, I had reached bitmain for some detail or update the status when the repair finished and that Jessica.L told me
( it may take another 20 days, because it's sent to the bonded warehouse) on January
and 30 days later I ask for the progress and she replied
(shipment meet the customs inspection) on February
and another 30 days to now

this is full of lying.

Does anyone have experience in repairing rigs and takes more than 2 weeks?
I had sent my rig for 3 months already and that rig just uptime is not enough a month.
and still no response.

I'm imagining it had stolen by someone.
