Hi, my BuffBet username is ythai91
BuffBet decided to offer me a birthday bonus and then not only void winnings from the bonus, but also winnings generated from my real money too.
They did this based on me depositing and entering the bonus code (which worked) 3 days after I received the email.
The email didn’t say that I must make a deposit on the actual day of my birthday and also it clearly stated “on your next deposit”. I understood this as, the next time you deposit you will get the bonus.
Also note that the email had no links to the terms and conditions of the bonus.
The email which they sent then asked me a lot of documents for verification, which I sent them immediately. This was after they voided my winnings.
So here are the numbers:
I deposited 100EUR and received a 100EUR bonus.
With my cash I placed a 100 EUR bet on Senegal – Algeria, Under 1.5 @2.39 ->Bet won
With the bonus cash I also placed a 100 EUR bet on Senegal – Algeria, Under 1.5 @2.39 ->Bet won
Current Cash Balance = 239 EUR, Current Bonus Balance = 239 EUR
With my cash I placed a 239 EUR bet on Brazil –Paraguay, Under 2, 2.5 @2.51 ->Bet won
With the bonus cash I also placed a 239 EUR bet on Brazil –Paraguay, Under 2, 2.5 @2.51 ->Bet won
Current Cash Balance = 600 EUR, Current Bonus Balance = 600 EUR
Not only did they take the bonus balance but they also took 600EUR of the Cash Balance leaving me with just the deposit of 100 EUR.
First thing, regardless of what happened with the bonus, the cash balance should not have been touched by them, that is 100% my money, right?
Second thing, they emailed me a bonus offer and then made up a rule to void the bets once the bets won.
Third thing, they say that “I activated the bonus code 3 days after my birthday which makes the code obsolete”, but I had no way of knowing this rule and also their system let the code through, so clearly at the time that I entered it, it was valid.
Fourth thing, knowing all of this, would it be unreasonable for them to not just honour the bets that they took and also the bonus that they offered?
They could do this either as a gesture of goodwill or just simply because I won the bets fair and square.
Finally, if my bets would have lost, I bet that my deposit wouldn’t have been given back to me and my bets would have not been void. Has anyone here deposited using this code after their bday and lost their bets?
I know that I should be paid out the remaining 1500 Euros which were confiscated and definitely at a minimum be paid 500 Euro cash balance, which had nothing to do with the bonus.
I also logged into my account and see that the initial 100 EUR is also missing, I have checked my accounts and the transaction history on the website and there is no trace of the money coming out of Buff Bet, but it has disappeared from my balance.
Can you help me solve this problem?
From what you have said in this thread, you should be a legit betting site, so could you show us that you are by returning my winnings, thanks.

I see that you are trying to promote the buff.bet brand on here, do you not think that it would be better to show that you will refund this stolen money rather than brushing me off and using the space to show which events that you are offering today. Let me know if you are willing to help me regain the stolen funds, or if you are a company that is trying to scam their clients. Thanks. Why are you still posting on here? I use www.livescore.com always to check the scores but malubit also had live results with live betting. only no results on malubit when matches are finished lets hope those computers will not get infected with the coronavirus  |

Maybe it is also interesting to start a thread regarding all the people that are trying to defend sportbets.io on the moment I post just a normal question/post in their topic. And reacting very angry there, and all took it personal.. Interesting. Why should somebody act so angry and frustrated without having any interest in this situation. I will so some research regarding this, and if I find enough patterns, there will be another thread as well here. I know that now a lot of employees from sportbets.io will attack me here with replies, but that does not bother me at all. Then I have even more reasons to start a thread. I think it is good that people have insight into the situation and are wary that such bookmakers are apparently allowed to withhold money. The purpose of this forum is to share user experiences with each other. Whatever has happened now.
Moreover, if you have solved this with this user, it would also be to your advantage that you can indicate that the problem has been resolved.
Now you turn around the facts, and you dismiss it as a personal matter, but it is not, since there are several people playing on your site and these people have the right to know what kind of situations arise before done and whether it is safe to play at a bookmaker yes or no.

You give the reason that the documentation submitted by the user does not originate from the location from which he may legally gamble.
This means that he would have logged in from an IP where gambling is not allowed. Then it seems normal to me that you refunded the deposit? I also wonder to what extent Cyberluck (your licensee) is aware of this and whether or not their organization allows it, I don't think. Regarding legislation, you are obliged to refund this amount in the event of an incorrect / non-legitimate registration or deposit.

The list goes on and on.. Another post that caught my attention. Not about 14k, but this time for 150k. And also not solved https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180294.0So I found out about Sportsbet.io on a forum and thought I would try it out. Everything looked genuine and the website looked good. So on 21st Aug I signed up done a few bets around $5000 - $8000... they all won and I profited about $4000. Withdrew the money to my bitcoin wallet. Everything was good and I trusted the site.
A few days later I decided to do a much larger bet but the site kept capping me on the amount I could get bet (4BTC). So I simply made another 2 accounts with my information and deposited about 4BTC (approx $40,000) into each of them and placed the bet. So at this point I had above 150,000 usd worth of bets across my accounts. Whilst the game was inplay and ongoing... suddenly I couldn't gain access to any my accounts and whenever I would try to log in, it would say "YOUR ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN DISABLED" .. so I contacted live chat immediately who told me to email a security team.
I emailed the security team who asked me for ID and proof of address which I promptly sent to them. They then sent me some security link that I had to click on and take a selfie to verify who I am. They then did not reply to me for over 5 days and simply ignored my emails. Eventually, I received a reply (which I've pasted below) which essentially said that because I am a UK citizen I should not have been betting on their site (which I wasn't aware of) and that they my accounts would remain closed and they would not return to me my balance or any of my deposits because they believe I had "defrauded them by using a software that masks my location".
This is absolute rubbish and completely unfair I believe. I accessed their site through my German Remote Desktop as I am currently working for a German tech company so have access to a German RDP....and me using this does not in any way mean I have frauded them... I have simply used their website just like a normal customer would .
I have read other cases on a forum, where customers have simply been returned what they have deposited but in my case SPORTS BET IO are just stating a rubbish excuse that I have "attempted to fraud" them by "using a software that doesn't show my IP" ..... HOW ON EARTH DOES ME USING THEIR WEBSITE MEAN I AM FRAUDING THEM.
I believe this is completely ridiculous and I am not even a big gambler so this is a lot of money that I have now lost.

We are talking about 150k here, confiscated by sportbets.io What I really understand about your last answer, if things have been cleared and solved between you and a player, then it seems very logical to me to post the update to make sure your reputation will not get harmed. Answering that there is an agreement between you and the side (because you sponsor the site) does not help a lot. It will only raise red flags. |

No Steve, I think it is better get back to this: Steve, I'm glad you took the time to respond so quickly, but I don't see a response to my message. That message was regarding a payout from someone who still has about 14000 euros in credit.

No it's not like that. kawbet blocks accounts if a player wins too much money. A well-known trick of 1xbit is that there will be a message that you cannot request a payout. The message "Account is checked by security department" appears.
They just leave your money, so you can continue to gamble until it runs out. And if you don't gamble, the department deliberately does nothing so that you can never pay again.
In the best case for the user, you will receive your deposit back, the rest would have been won unlawfully.
The company behind this is BETB2B and because it is Whitelabel, it is handled by Kawbet and BETB2B. If one of the two parties does not want to pay, you are the hare and you have lost everything.
Of course BETB2B is not coorporating because this company gets about 35% from the profits from Kawbet!
So we have both Kawbet and BETB2B who are not going to approve the payments for you.
Outright SCAM, 1xbit works exactly the same. Kawbet borrows this platform from betb2b and determines whether they pay or not.
But so far only accounts are blocked. They are thieves.

As somebody already explains here, kawbet is a whitelabelproduct. it is the same owner as 1xbit. 1xbit decided to start a new platform, since theyr reputation is very very bad and now trying this way to trick new people again. we have nice screenshot from when I tried to make a deposit recently:  We already saw a few posts from users here who showed that their accounts were closed without any explanation. and: Has this already been solved by kawbet?  they also closed the acount from LEVSKI17 What is the status of this? and nikica also posted a problem Hello.
Registered and deposited 40 mBTC .
Played almost 2 hours and get limited to 0 ! Made profit of just 14.14 mBTC.
Then tried to withdraw and was told to rollover full deposit before being able to withdraw. But how I can rollover now if I am limited to 0?
