Yas, I know how to mod GPU Bios and I did it. Then I prefer to use MSI Afterburner than AMD RAdeon Tool that makes only troubles.
As I wrote, I use to set overclock values on commad line, but it seems that LolMiner is not able to consider them and runs GPUs with default values. I should try to use OverdriveNTool, but I don't know it.
Is there any guide about it?
Can you link to me any HiveOS guide really clear? Not that's on website since I tried several times to follow, but it never works

Thanks. Problem is that under Linux I was not able to load driver, so I couldn't use AMD GPUs. About Hive Os, I never was able to configure it, for this reason I run miner under Windows.
What do you mean when you say "I upgrade the bios for the ethash or ethcash algorithm"?

Hi to everybody. I am trying LolMiner with four AMD 580 Sapphire Nitro e one 1660 super

This is the command line I use to mine
lolMiner.exe --algo ETCHASH --pool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444 --user .............worker --cclk 1100,1100,1100,-500,1100 --mclk 2140,2140,2090,+1040,2100

I don't know why LolMiner starts mining without considering core clock and memory clock values written in the command line, and so if I launch Afterburner all GPUs are shown with default values for core and memory clock

Why does this happen? Can anybody help me to solve this issue?

per quanto riguarda il problema che avevo rilevato nel primo post, la soluzione è stata alimentare adeguatamente la scheda, e quindi collegando 2 cavi da 8 pin nei rispettivi alloggiamenti alimentandoli con un alimentatore di potenza adeguata

I am testing a RX VEGA 64 8gb Sapphire Nitro for mining ETC.
I read an article that says that:
"Core Voltage (VDD) 850 Power Limit Watts: 210 or Percentage: 70%
Core Clock (CClock) Absolute: 1050 or Offset: 0
Memory Clock (MClock) Absolute: 2200 or Offset: +1100"

Using MSI Aftburner, the maximum memory clock value I can set is 1243.
Why do you think this happens? What can I do?

The motherboard isn't a new one, but it works fine with 4 RX 580. Other PC, just like B250, haven't got any PCIe x16 slot, so I have to use riser. My risers aren't 010S version, but why do you advise this version?
Should I change any setting on motherboard BIOS?

I bought a Radeon RX Vega 64 8 GB and yesterday I tried to install on mining rig. I must point out that until yesterday 3 RX 580 Sapphire Nitro and 1 Nvidia 1660 TI cards were installed. I removed all the cards and tried to install the VEGA 64, but the system does not see it.

Motherboard is B250 Mining Board BTC 12GPU

Where I was wrong? What do I have to do to make the system to see the card?

Ciao Marco, provo a risponderti, per quel po' che ne so, poi se ci sono imprecisioni o inesattezze qualcun'altro mi correggerà

Ti dico quello che ho fatto io con le mie schede, che comunque sono delle AMD e quindi credo che si possa, in linea di massima, replicare anche per le tue 6700.
Il Bios delle schede è stato "moddato" utilizzando Polaris bios editor ("one click patch" per i neofiti) e successivamente ho caricato il bios moddato con atiwinflash.
(ovviamente scarica le ultime versioni di questi programmi!)

Come miner, dipende molto dall'algoritmo e quindi la crypto che intende minare. Io per ether (ETH) ho iniziato con claymore che però non viene più aggiornato e ci sono un sacco di problemi per la creazione del DAG file; poi ho provato TeamRed Miner, ma ho avuto alcuni problemi e sono passato a PhoenixMiner che continuo ad usare ancora oggi.

Su Phoenix, come per gli altri miner, tramite la riga di comando, è possibile impostare i valori dei parametri di core clock (cclock) e di memory clock (mclock) e le frequenze relative (cvddc e mvddc) in maniera tale da ridurre i consumi e raggiungere i valori di hash rate che si intende realizzare.
Ovviamente l'overclock e/o l'undervolt può essere fatto con software ad hoc, come MSI Afterburner, se non vuoio impazzire con le righe di comando di PhoenixMiner  che peraltro sono semplici da utilizzare soprattutto se si leggono le indicazioni (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0)

Ovviamente vanno fatte delle prove per vedere fino a che punto è possibile spingere l'overclock della memoria con determinati consumi.

Molto dipende da quanto tempo si è disposti a smanettare per fare un po' di pratica che consenta un minimo di autonomia.
Credo che, a meno che non si abbia una "potenza di fuoco" esagerata, l'unica strada sia minare in pool, e ce ne sono tante tra cui scegliere.

Cosa potrebbe incrementare l'hash rate?!

Ho provato in passato overdriveNtool ma modificando i valori non avevo alcun cambiamento nei parametri della scheda video, mi potresti indicare come utilizzarlo?!

no, avevo sottointeso che intendevo i consumi da software e non by wall.
Il consumo effettivo (tutto il mini rig, intendo, compreso monitor) si attesta intorno ai 290 watt complessivi.

A questo punto la domanda è d'obbligo: di quanto sono minori i consumi con Team red miner?!
Mi spiegheresti cosa sono la mining mode A e B?!

Ho dato un'occhiata molto rapida su github e nei file contenuti nel compresso che si può scaricare, e volevo sapere se la linea di comando può essere utilizzata come su Claymore-Phoenix per impostare i valori di overclock e undervolt, dato che non ho visto alcuna indicazione a riguardo

con una RX 580 ed una RX 570 si possono raggiungere oltre 64 Mh/s totali con un consumo complessivo di 164 watt (solo epr le due schede).

Il Bios delle schede va moddato utilizzando Polaris bios editor ("one click patch" per i neofiti) e caricando il bios moddato con atiwinflash.

I know that is a very common issue, but me too had a problem with DAG file.

I am testing a AMD RX 570 Pulse (8 GB), with 8 GB of RAM, 16 GB file paging.
Using Claymore system says: "OpenCL error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. Check readme.txt for possible solutions", altough I put -eres 0 in line command.

Now I am testing mining with Phoenixminer and there is no problem with DAG file.
How is it possible?!
