1  Economy / Scam Accusations / coinsbit.io scam. They've blocked my account with no reason on: January 28, 2021, 01:39:58 PM
Hello, coinsbit.io it seems to be a scam. Since 3 weeks ago i can't enter because it says my account has been blocked and i have to contact support, but support has only replied and automated response that the technical team is looking it and despite sending other messages and trying to connect them via twitter or live chat there is no response.

Any other experience? What I can do?

Thanks

I think that during quarantine it is better to think about why you need money. For a new car? Big house? Own island? Will you be happy when you have all this?

Most people do not need a lot of money to survive. However, each of us needs to understand and learn to use our own mind. Because most often the mind confuses us. And we mistakenly believe that the source of happiness is somewhere outside. Happiness is closer than we think. It is inside. Drop all thoughts and you will find it in the void.

It is ridiculous to think that money can give you something in life. Rather, money will take life if you pay so much attention to it.
I really think is not worth it and like you said, no drive to do that.

Airdrop and bounty doesn't bring any money but I have questions about Forex trading. There is no guarantee that you will win in trading. Crypto investment is one of the options if you have money. But nothing gained without any investment. Choose right project with strong team and audience.
for your rank yeah it maybe hard but i don't think Signature is that hard for me,thats why your advice of investing is what i do to my payments weekly.

all my signature payments has been saved for more than a year now and i believe this is enough to call holdings.

programming and marketing skills are on the rise for what I see

I've found this article from smart wallet and I thought it was worth sharing if this can help someone in this situation! Some of them are very creative I think

Checking the % that our savings account is giving us I really think that is another key factor that’s not mentioned..!

some are oriented to the usa market but for example here in Spain I'm seeing equivalents for the majority of them

Lol not sure if you're still quarantined or if your place is still under lockdown but in case you still are, you can try doing some online gigs, ie:

- Online customer support (there are a shit ton of these on most job boards)
- Freelancing (try Upwork or Fiverr) - some jobs don't require any specialization, such as writing, virtual assisting, and I guess to some extent, translating as most countries are multi-lingual.
- Selling stock photos
- Starting an ecommerce
- Online flipping

Some of these can work really well once you land on a niche within the space (ie. "specializing" in writing career-related articles, or uploading specifically crypto-related stock photos)

I've tried some of the ideas above and freelancing has been the biggest success driver for me. Currently using Upwork writing articles and doing some small accounting-related work. I'm netting about $800 per mo from it which isn't too bad considering it's a job I do whenever I have some free time.

Good ideas, thanks!

Yep, i have plans to establish a large scale bitcoin mining place. It produces 70,2066 Million US Dollars on month. Life is so much easier then. Grin
Where are you mining BTC? I think mining is not profitable. Because the maintenance cost is high for several cloud mining companies. Also, there are many restriction like withdraw limit, duration of mining etc. Let's talk how much you make mining. Is mining better for bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies?

I also think that mining nowadays is not worth it..!

9  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 25, 2020, 03:00:20 PM
Indeed some people already feel bored to confine themselves at home, they worry about the economic situation after this. many people have financial difficulties because they have to stay at home and do nothing. I hope this ends soon and everything will return to normal.
It will take a lot of time before it will end. This virus continue to spread even most of the countries are underlockdown and it's never failed to increase. Our government recently extend the community quarantine here in our country to stop spreading. We need to be stay at home and follow our government and let them handle the situation. We still can't imagine how long it will takes before it will end.

I really think it will depend a lot on the country.. here in spain, as i explain in my videos (https://www.youtube.com/jfarras) the situation is ugly!

Maybe it isn't correct to compare upcoming crisis with already experienced ones. Some experts are sure that it will be like 2008 recession, I mean 2020 crisis will last more than a couple of months.

there are still too many unknowns at this point. it takes a few weeks to see real results from lockdowns and self quarantines. testing is also primarily only being done on symptomatic cases so we still know very little about how far this thing has spread, and how infectious it really is. those things obviously have a lot of bearing on the future economic costs of the pandemic.

i found this post illuminating---also a bit depressing, since it casts doubt on these "back to normal by april" theories:

The only way an early back-to-work works out well is if some of the more fringe epidemiology theories circulating hold and that the virus really has a R0 of 23 and a very low hospitalization rate and in fact a huge number of people have already been infected.  Existing data doesn't completely disprove this theory as far as I know but the growth rates of hospitalizations we've seen are pretty strong evidence against it. (If it were really the case that the virus was ludicrously infectious but just hospitalized very few people we would have seen the hospitalization rates spike much faster and everywhere almost at once).  I think these sorts of high R0 low-hospitalization rate theories are just hopeful fantasy.  There has been a lot of hopeful fantasy being thrown about by people who really don't want to face the reality-- this one is just a little less innumerate than most of them.

Yes.. I expect at least 6 months..! the average crisis as I comment on the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs5Yyvih14M&list=PLz_NVO61eqw70kA4Z9z854OoyibpDpOuq&index=2 is 1.3 years

For the people in this community that understand spanish, I wanted to share this video I created yesterday comparing the current situation with the different crisis we had in the last 100 years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rs5Yyvih14M&list=PLz_NVO61eqw70kA4Z9z854OoyibpDpOuq&index=2

Do you think it will be uglier than the others?

All feedback is welcome to keep improving!:)
