I know that a few years back Chinese exchanges were doing most of the worlds volume but after the crackdown its died down alot.
BUt exchanges like OKEX, huobi are still seeming to do a large amount of volume.
Do you think they are good exchanges?
For example recently a coin that I have been following (Creditcoin) recently listed on OKEX and the volume has increased to almost 10m a day daily
but still many users are wary about trading on a Chinese exchange, and i do not think it has as much power as a global exchange like binance.
Anyways I am curious what everyones opinion is

the creator and developer of the project is the main factor in the price of an altcoin besides the large community and the altcoin exchange listing is also very influential.

Yes tihs is correct. Also important is the private investors in the coin. For example Creditcoin was invested in by Coinbase and Y combinator and has cotinued to rise in price (+6000% this year) and only listing on major exchanges like Bittrex and OKEX. Stay i can said that CS not scam yet even i am a CS holder long_trem, how we can final decision CS scam? This is not enough provide as your own opinion man. Their supply not bad everyday but sometimes as CS price drop under so that's not mean this is scam update.

There are many coins that can surprise us throughout the year!
I have been watching Chainlink, XTZ, ATOM, HEDG, HBAR from last year! They are doing very well! Now, Personally, I am waiting for some new coins like Cartesi, Wazirx, XNS, HIVE and some others to watch out! I hope these coins will do better too, and these will give us good profits!

They are not answering any inquiries from their telegram channel and they are blocking messages from anyone who asks anything about the progress of the project, it is suspicious and this is enough evidence for everyone that this project is a scam.
Yup people need to be wary of projects that copy the names of more established legtitamate projects. for example Credits copied the name of Creditcoin, and then you have shady projects also like the various bitcoin forks etc anything besides the original is most likely a scam. |

I believe that there will be more than 10 coins to watch out this year as we will going to see the bull run will come too. We need to be selective to choose the altcoin because we need to limit our money too. Don't use all of the money at once. We need to prepare for any situations that can happen, and if we still have money, we can buy more for the coins that we have so we can have more amount in our wallet. Ethereum, litecoin, dash, ripple, xem, str, grin, and others will need to analyze if we want to find the potential coins at the market.
Most of the coins you list rely heavily on Bitcoin price appreciation and certainly cannot rise. I think these are old and best options so spend some time researching new coins because those are definitely investments that can make you richer in this market. Of course, it is necessary to have knowledge and always consider carefully before deciding to buy because the crypto market is very volatile. Which is why you need to look at coins that are not relying on the bitcoin pirce. For example one coin would be Creditcoin regardless of the bull/bear market it has been doing its own thing increaseing almost 6000% this year. Team is continuiously working on the project and adding new exchange listings. These are the types of coins that need to be watched in 2020. |

Despite the market season, evidence of scam projects is there. If a project is scam in or out of bear season there are signs to prove it. Mostly its always pumped and dumped and eventually everyone lose their funds.
EXACTLY. 99% of projects are scams and whether its a bear market or bull market it doesn'tm atter the price will dump anyways. the remainig 1 percent for example CREDITCOIN is killing it with up 6000% this year, because regardless of bull/bear market for bitcoin real projects are in a bull market. |

The last coin to 6000x recently twas Creditcoin. The secret to finding these types of moonshots i've found is actually to find press releases and news especially about investments into projects by prominent names.
For exmaple i found out about creditcoin because of a press release of how y combinator and coinbase had invested into the projcet.

Long term we will see huge growth in emerging markets such as in Africa and across Asia once we recover from the global crisis.

That would always have been the case, honestly, with or without the global crisis. The crisis affects everyone for sure, but especially in developed countries people get shocked the most. I only would say poverty populations in Asia and Africa get the worst shocks, and when they bounce back, it is the upper class who benefit, not the poor. Not necesarily. While the upper class benefit , you have to consider coins like Creditcoin will be made for adoption by the poor. As there are more poor than rich we will see wider adoption than just a coin targetting the rich. Slaman29, was absolutely right because the middle class and the poor are one who suffer the most while rich getting richer. However, the coin you mention was not the only project to offer this kind of services and i didnt see any solution they have to offer to the masses during global crises than to increase their debt. The problem it is solving for the masses is offering a decentralized solution for credit history utilizing blockchain technology. Think of a farmer in Nigeria that needs to buy a goat but is unable to get a microloan due to a lack of history. Creditcoin is solving this issue and is partnering directly with microlenders in Nigeria in order to ensure that the poor and unbanked are able to access financial services. |

Some coins have experienced continuous growth while shitcoins have fallen in price and become irrelavant. For example look at coins that were hyped in 2018 / 2019
ex. OMG, LINK, NANO etc they are all basically dead and prices are down 99% from ATHs
Now look at coins that are being hyped in 2020, only the coins with true potential are remaining, and you see coins like Creditcoin that are already up 6000% this year

As I've been mentioning you guys shouldn't write off CreditCoin. It was invested in by Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase) and Y Combinator. So traditional funds are investing into it too.
Basically decentralized credit score system, and working with micro lending firms across developing nations to develop immutable credit history in unbanked nations. prettyy powerful stuff with an experienced team behind it. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the next 1000x

Higher demand and market volume of the altcoins are essential that makes the price grow higher.
Altcoins have higher demand based on the true values of the project. Users buy altcoin based on the realistic use case of its project and the exchanges it listed. The project should be transparent to their users and needs constant improvement on its platform in order to serve better. The price of the coins does not depend on how much followers do you have or about the community hold, it purely depends on the integrity of your project.
The last is to hold and keep said altcoins for long periods of time in the hope that they will appreciate significantly in value, either by storing them to make a profit.

Those who talk about continuous growth are people who don’t understand anything about cryptocurrency or even the stock market , they know nothing about investment, because if they really do, they will understand that there are different types of investment and there are times markets crash and investors lose money. Investment carries risk, even though the level of risks varies.

OKEX listing has been a great thing for this coin.
Volume has increased 10x and went from roughly $1m usd / day to around $10m /usd.
Exposure to a bigger audience can only mean good things. I stand on track with my $1 prediction.

For example take a look at Creditcoin (CTC)
The price has slowly been rising the past 4 months, up almost 5x right now as more and more people learn about it.
This coin was invested in by Coinbaser and Y combinator so people know its a legiatmate project and will eventually list on coinbase.
As more people find out the price will continue to grow and grow

Instead look at coins like creditcoin which are a GLOBAL team with offices in Korea, USA, China and Nigeria
