*** Make absolutely sure you use the correct Bitcoin address, currently payments are automatically sent as each block is split up.***
We are currently implementing a system that will allow for user control of payments as well as automatic payouts at set thresholds.

We are testing our new pool out while we implement exciting new features.During our entire public beta period we will be running with no fees. http://bitfarms.ca is currently under active development and testing! You can come mine with us for no fee at the moment and check out our exciting new features as we add them. Right now we are running a straight proportional payout method, but we will be implementing new options in the coming days. If you would like to join us feel free to sign up, we will be implementing new features everyday for the next few weeks. If you have any suggestions or comments, come join us on irc.freenode.net in #bitfarms Currently we are running around 3Ghash/sec and are hoping to see our first block soon! Come give us a hand! Features:Long Polling. AJAX share counters. (update automatically) Proportional Payout. Friendly Dev/Staff team. No fees while under development/public beta. Willing to listen to, and implement some of our client's ideas if we feel they would be appropriate. Canadian Based. Periodic bonus rounds. How to get started:First sign up at the site, once you have done that you will be able to create workers for your miners. Usually it is best to create one worker for each miner you wish to connect to the pool, it is much better this way for stats tracking purposes. Once you have created your workers, you can point your miners to: pool.bitfarms.ca port 8332 or http://pool.bitfarms.ca:8332 depending on your miner version. You can use any of the current miner software available If you have not mined before or are new to mining and using windows, the easiest way to get started is to download the latest version of GUIMiner and use that. Hope to see you all mining with us soon! http://www.bitfarms.caFeel free to contact me if you need helping getting started at our mining pool!

Is this real? Also, seems like disconnects and long polling messages are flooding the console.....is this expected? Which exactly LP messages are showing ? What mining client are you using ? I think he is talking about normal long polling messages. 2011-07-24 15:09:34: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:09:34, LP connected to pit.deepbit.net:8332 2011-07-24 15:11:24: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:11:24, Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC 0 2 2011-07-24 15:11:25: Listener for "xrcode_GPU2": 24/07/2011 15:11:25, Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC 0 2 2011-07-24 15:25:13: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:25:13, Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC 0 2 2011-07-24 15:25:13: Listener for "xrcode_GPU2": 24/07/2011 15:25:13, Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC 0 2 2011-07-24 15:27:55: Listener for "xrcode_GPU2": 24/07/2011 15:27:55, long poll: new block 000002482779e09a 2011-07-24 15:27:55: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:27:55, long poll: new block 000002482779e09a 2011-07-24 15:27:58: Listener for "xrcode_GPU2": 24/07/2011 15:27:58, Using new LP URL /listenChannel 2011-07-24 15:27:58: Listener for "xrcode_GPU2": 24/07/2011 15:27:58, LP connected to pit.deepbit.net:8332 2011-07-24 15:28:00: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:28:00, Using new LP URL /listenChannel 2011-07-24 15:28:00: Listener for "xrcode_GPU1": 24/07/2011 15:28:00, LP connected to pit.deepbit.net:8332

How do you know? I think that with the million+ workshares I have completed its pretty likely that I would have found a block mining solo too by now.

Ive made around 25 BTC so far, and generated 1 block 100% certain
I would have over twice as much BTC if started mining solo two weeks ago, rather than pooled.
But I don't really mind that much because I have yet to see how much I have made by my second block.
