1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Revolut-Etana-Kraken on: March 17, 2021, 06:36:30 AM
Many thanks to both of you guys.

From Revolut to Etana and then to Kraken should work.

How about the opposite direction, Kraken to Etana to Revolut. Do you think that would work?
Thank you.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Revolut-Etana-Kraken on: March 16, 2021, 06:52:40 PM
I am facing some difficultιes to deposit from Revolut to Kraken. I am still not sure if this transaction is allowed by Revolut. They are blocking it claiming there is a technical problem.
Do you know if I can deposit from Revolut to kraken?

Is it possible to send money from Revolut to Etana and then to Kraken?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Can Trezor wallet store Chainlink? on: November 08, 2020, 08:12:36 PM
I am looking at the list of the supported coins within Trezor and can't see Chainlink as an option. Any idea how I can store Chainlink in a Trezor wallet?
Thank you.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing out tips & strategies on: May 17, 2020, 03:10:10 PM
Cashing out tips and strategies are very difficult in a volatile environment. In reality, you have to play a game against robots and software, and I find it very difficult to declare victory over them. That said, my strategy is very simple. It is simple, because simple ideas work best. I am not trying to take advantage of price changes in the short term, thus, I m trying to buy my coins at very specific price ranges and then holding them until the price goes to a range where I want to sell.
So my effort is to find these buying/selling ranges and then have the strength in me to implement my strategy because strength is needed. So how do I find these price ranges? I will not speak about past results, but I will speak about the present situation.
I believe it is not possible to use value investing, technical analysis, or Elliot wave theory the way we use them in the stock markets. What we can use, is a technical analysis of the long term. I am not sure if this term is correct or not, maybe it is not. But what I mean here, is use technical analysis to find supports and resist lines, and when we get near them, buy or sell respectively.
So in the current situation, I will show a very well-identified triangle that gives very nice entry and cash-out points. You can find this triangle and the strategy I use here: https://arbusers.com/index.php?topic=7174.msg76745#msg76745
So when we go to the lower side of the triangle, we buy. When we go to the upper side of the triangle, we sell. It is that simple.
But here, as we are closing at the corner of the triangle, it is evident that we are nearing a make or break point. This is a very difficult position because it is a decision point.
At this point, I believe that most odds are for keeping my coins, waiting for the upper side of the triangle to break. The risk-reward ratio is very good. The resist line was tested twice, and the more is tested, the more possibilities it breaks.
Sorry for the long post.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Reveals How much Bitcoins he Hold on: May 17, 2020, 08:58:27 AM
You can never be sure about his statements. I recall a tweet saying that Tesla's stock price is expensive. Can you trust such a guy? Was he sober?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 on: May 16, 2020, 02:23:18 AM
The mathematics and the trends are showing prices going up. Lately, it is the stock to flow theory that shows prices of up to 288000$ at the end of 2021.
I believe Bitcoin is more mature now than it was back in 2012 and 2016. You can't expect 3-4 digits % upwards. I believe we can see a lot of North, but this should be 2 digits until the end of the year, possibly 3 low digits until the end of 2021.
Also, I am not sure about the inflation theory (FED printing -> BTC going up) because we see so many commoddities going down.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price could reach $ 100,000 by 2025 on: May 08, 2020, 07:40:06 PM
We could have a lot of figures on the table, but there is another question as well. What will be the value of $ by 2025? Because if the FED keeps printing various forms of currencies, then I am afraid the USD will have a much lower value in 2025.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: April 18, 2020, 11:19:05 AM
The difference between trading and investing lies inside us. It is a matter of character.
Trading brings the bacon at home after a day by day struggle, but investing, is another kind of operation which, upon thorough analysis promises safety of principal and an adequate return. Operations not meeting these requirements are speculative. Trading is speculative.
Investing consists equally of three elements:
1. You must thoroughly analyze a company, and the soundness of its underlying businesses, before you buy its stock;
2. You must deliberately protect yourself against serious losses;
3. You must aspire to “adequate,” not extraordinary, performance.

Like casino gambling or betting on the horses, trading in the market can be exciting or even rewarding (if you happen to get lucky). But it’s the worst imaginable way to build your wealth. That’s because Wall Street, like Las Vegas or the racetrack, has calibrated the odds so that the house always prevails, in the end, against everyone who tries to beat the house at its own speculative game.
On the other hand, investing is a unique kind of casino, one where you cannot lose in the end, so long as you play only by the rules that put the odds squarely in your favor. People who invest make money for themselves, people who speculate make money for their brokers. And that, in turn, is why Wall Street perennially downplays the durable virtues of investing and hypes the gaudy appeal of speculation.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 15, 2020, 04:34:21 PM
I expect nothing big to happen after the halving date. We all judge and base our thoughts on what happened after the 12 and 16 halving. History is not repeating even though it rhymes, I believe Mark Twain said. Today's market is more mature than 16 and 12, thus I dont expect rapid moves up or down.
What I do expect is a steady upwards trend in the long term, simply because inflation is coming like a tsunami. I estimate that more than 20 Trillion USD will be printed during this crisis. Younger generations that recognize the utility of cryptos will be more positive towards BTC. And of course, some people must work hard to get the dollars that some other people print effortlessly.
That said, the price will go up in the long term.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 07, 2020, 10:13:00 AM
This is a twofold crisis. There is a medical side and a financial side.
The medical side will be completed when a vaccine comes out in the market.
The financial side will be naked in front of us in the next coming period when the recession becomes evident to all. I m afraid Covid19 was just the spark that triggered everything, if it wasn't Covid19, there might be something else.
That said, I believe we are getting into a recession, to be followed by depression for a number of years. Maybe I am pessimistic, but it seems to me we will be out of the woods in 22-23.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: April 05, 2020, 06:42:24 PM
Trump's odds 2-3 weeks ago were 1.73. Now they are 2.10-12. That means the Coronavirus had a negative impact in his run for re-election. Some facts as I see them.
Biden will be the Democrat to run for president.
Trump will find the Coronavirus as an excuse to send millions of checks nearly to every household in the US and thus bribe them for their vote. As a result, inflation will spread all over.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: April 04, 2020, 10:57:22 AM
The risk depends on the time that you could hold an asset. If your time horizon is big, then you have nothing to worry about. This is for BTC and equities as well. If you need the money for your everyday life, then you are not fundamentally well-positioned for any kind of investment.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Crypto recover from the most recent crypto dip? on: April 02, 2020, 10:32:00 AM
How do we know that we will be completely healed in 2021?
Is there any guarantee we will have a vaccine out in the market. Because IMO, if we don't have a vaccine available to all, the cases and deaths will just bump every now and then, and no real solution will be given to the problem. When cases going up, new quarantines will be ordered. We can't go on like that.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: April 01, 2020, 09:45:34 AM
If you don't need funds to support your self and your family you are better positioned against others. If you are able to ''forget'' the invested capital for some time you are already a winner. History shows that even you you buy at the top of every cycle, you will be a winner sooner or later.
Imagine someone who bought American stocks in 1929. If he was able to keep them until 1951 he would be a winner. If we put dividends in the equitation he would be a winner much earlier.
Of course, if someone buys near the bottoms, he will enjoy profits much earlier.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Crypto recover from the most recent crypto dip? on: March 31, 2020, 01:16:03 PM
Cryptos and BTC especially are condemned to recover.
Central banks are printing like no tomorrow and this will create inflation. Already it is 2.2 BN for the US and no-one can estimate the amount for Euro-area, as it is not only the ECB that prints money. Countries are also allowed to circulate more money than what they have.
We are at the beginning of a big recession. They will print again and again. The US will hold elections this November and the government has the interest to keep everyone happy, even if it is a voucher instead of a real job.
In this environment, you should be looking for places where inflation is controllable. BTC's inflation is indeed controllable.
To sum up, yes, it will recover.

Milwaukee Bucks co-owner interviewed by CNBC mentioned June for the return of NBA.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADING BOTS: WHERE AND HOW on: March 31, 2020, 12:32:44 PM
My experience with bots is negative. Even if there is one good bot out there, why the developers are selling it really? They have all the reasons in the world to keep it for personal use.
