My CPU gives me a speed of ~3 mhash/sec whereas my GPU gives me ~45 mhash/sec.

I use Diablominer on my new iMac but even with a 6750M I only get around 43 mhash/sec which isn't too good. You'd be better off selling stuff like you do. Smiley

I'm mining using a 6750M on an iMac. With DiabloMiner frontend I get around 43 mhash/sec. Is there anyway I could get more without overheating my system?

You might not want to put both your CPU + GPU to work as it may slow down your system a LOT. But if it's a dedicated mining rig, then it's okay.

All you had to do was go to the homepage.

Pools are only used because the difficulty is so high it would take a long time for an individual to solve his own block. In a pool, the generated block can be split between the participants so you get payed less amounts, more often.

That helped me a lot as well.
