1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocurrency correlation matrices on: November 17, 2020, 09:36:47 PM
Hi guys, we started collecting our correlation matrices in a dedicated page. They are divided according to sector and size, taken from our reports. Maybe you can find it interesting:https://monethical.com/2020/11/15/crypto-correlations/

In any case, any feedback is greatly appreciated!:)

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top/Worst coins according to trend and momentum indicators on: August 02, 2020, 10:05:57 PM
There is also another way of looking to the worst performers through coinmarketcap. The gainers and losers of the market in three categories, just for 1 hour or 24 hours, or 1 week.
https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/

Yep but that's raw performance, what we do is computing a score based on momentum and trend indicators:)
Ok, let me read the article first and I'll get back to you based from the computation you've made with those trend indicators.  Smiley
That's how I check the losers and see if the coins that I've got are part of it. But luckily, so far most of them are doing good and the ones that are in that list are the coins that aren't really good.

Well if you want to provide an actual check on top and worst coins with actual data since we provide that kind of report with different horizons and such we Will be glad to have a look:)

It is a great analysis but I have a question.

Is this data was collected are accurate? Maybe traders consider this as a good indicator.

However, the UI of website is good.
Maybe it is correct because OP says he collects data at Coinmarketcap. So we can rely on the data OP gave in his article, BTW this is one of the very good analyzes I've seen.
Thanks! Btw It Is not coinmarketcap, It Is the exchange specified in the disclaimer of the article Smiley

This is my analysis which I publish weekly on my site, would you guys give me some kind of feedback on It please? Much appreciated!!
https://monethical.com/2020/05/20/small-cap-coins-overperform-on-the-back-of-omg-icx-and-xtz-lead-mid-cap-and-top-coins/

I think that is a very good analysis but there is one of my questions, have all of them been calculated accurately and what are the benchmarks of your analysis? if it's very accurate it's a very good thing. nb: Your website UI is very interesting. keep developing friends

It Is accurate meaning that data are taken from an Exchange indicated in the disclaimer and then processed with python code, so everything Is automated. We fixed size tresholds and kept the initial grouping till now, we will update groups according to Dynamic marketcap tresholds in order to reflect market Evolution. Differently from let's Say stock market, we cannot use fixed thresholds cause cryptos tend ti go all up and down together so we could end up with too much disparity in terms of numerosity among groups. Thanks a lot mate for your words!:)

A good  analysis abaout crypto projects based on marketcap, you should make it even better in terms of appearance and data adjustments. This means adjusting the data with the facts so that this can be an additional reference for others. You are cool man.
Too kind mate! I hope to improve on the qualitative part of the analysis as well, lot of work to do!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My analysis on crypto projects based on marketcap on: May 23, 2020, 01:01:15 AM
Although, I would always recommend that everyone does his/her own research, but there are some analyses that can help one to make a better decision and I think your analysis is one of such. Sometimes some people find it hard to identify some of these coins with good potential and you have identified key area @OP.
Thanks a lot, great to hear! I try to start with numbers and the find a reasoning behind those, providing hopefully good data in the meantime. Always DYOR obviously, that Is the best advice no doubt.

As the post corona scenario i see crypto booming more than ever, big funds, institutions and even governmental departments are looking for alternative markets to park their funds and at the same time make returns and for that crypto has emerged as the best solution so i assume all quality coins to grow huge in value maybe in 2 yesrs or so.
Cryptos are getting more and more recognition from institutions and institutional investors that's for sure.
This week's meeting with the SEC was a great example of how the space is growing, great news

great work mate, i also hope that you will maintain this kind of analysis forever because that is very helpful information, i also display your blog
Thanks a lot! I published the general weekly report today (biggies only) which is a different format if you want to have a look https://monethical.com/2020/05/22/altcoins-acceleration-led-by-xtz-is-an-altseason-looming/

I'll start with the theme of your article/website, it looks like a pdf file. I can say that it's neat. Do you have a certain tool that you used to determine those coins and sort it on the list of top projects?

Thanks! We used a market cap based criteria when we published the first of these reports, identifying the three groups. We plan on rearranging those whenever a projects become too large or small for its group. It Is similar to what you have for stock markets when you have size criteria for admission to an index. The trick with cryptos is that the market is moving alltogether basically still, so you cannot fix a size treshold and you have to go with dynamic tresholds. You also need not to move groups components top much to preserve the coherence in the analyses. We still have same groups members of a month ago.
That's nice to hear, how many members do you have for your group? Do you have some openings that for a not technical post?
At the moment we are two people doing everything, we have experience together, but we hope to grow! Will be great to male this discussion soon!
Good luck to you guys and I hope that you will remember me if ever you need one hand to work with your team. You know this time, we're in pandemic and that's making everyone look for more jobs to generate for the expenses that this crisis is bringing us.
Anyway, I know that you can do it and will just watch your progress.
You're too kind, much appreciated! I feel you on the pandemic theme, we decided ti use or time at home to work on this project. Hope the best for all of us, we will stay in contact for sure:)

Looks like you are hosting your blog at blogger platform right? i would try to follow your blog personally i like eth, ada, btc, xlm, icx and neo and i think after long downtrend the markets are ready to start trend reversal and today's dip could be the final one as i am expecting bulls to dominate for next many months.
Yep we are hosting on wordpress. We are positive on the market as well, there is a lot going on for cryptos and blockchain tech in general. Institutionals are also more and more involved speaking abojt investors, etc etc...anyway, we try to be as much objective as possible in the analyses
As long as you do a reliable blog content you will be visited by people. There are many analysis blogs/articles about cryptocurrency so expect you will have a fair market competitor. Long term reliability is the aspect that people is looking for, It will also help you to gather more visitor over the time.

Btw, I like the domain name Monethical  Grin
Thanks!:D we would love to provide a kind of reports similar to the ones we are used to in our traditional financial markets job (we are a trader and a portfolio manager) and differentiate ourselves in the space for that. Already doing general, market cap and sectorial reports each week and will start two new reports soon. However, we needed some genuine feedback cause it's better to improve quality than to launch lot of different reports without improving before😁

I think the article is concise , even though with some omissions on analysis. I like the way you analyzed Top and mid cap coins, but for small cap coins based on performance, you missed FUEL. Yeah, OMG merits the top as stated. Also please limit the pop up of the "join telegram" on the website, it sucks a lil. Thanks
Thanks a lot man! We are sticking with the same groups of coins atm so yeah we miss some of the small for sure i fear, but we can always rearrange.
I thought that the popup was just on the exit and once per two weeks, will check!

Are you willing to make an analysis related to a project that has just been traded on the market? the article discussed an old project, which I believed was very legit and more trusted. However I would like to read your analysis related 'fresh' market.
At the moment we don't perform coin specific analyses, we prefer to analyse a group and post objective results, but of you are willing to give me something to look into I can have a look and give you my idea, for what Is worth:)
