1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of bitcoin transfers on: April 06, 2022, 09:43:06 AM
The cost of bitcoin transfers has increased. Do you think this is trivial? Is it worth transferring money with bitcoin? Why transfer money with Bitcoin if the transfer cost is high?
like i have 100$ in one of my old wallet but i cant transfer it because of transfer fee is more than my asset !

The fees are currently not that high: https://mempool.space/

You didn't mention which wallet you're using but assuming it's a non-custodial one and not an exchange, then its likely one of the two:

- Since the fees are based on the transaction size, you probably received too many small payments.
- The wallet you're using is overestimating the fees.
about this:
"Since the fees are based on the transaction size, you probably received too many small payments."
you mean i will pay more fee (when i want to send out from wallet) if i receive 10 transaction (100$ each transaction) and i will pay low fee if i receive one 1000$ at time?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfer Fee of ETH and BTC on: January 31, 2022, 07:02:51 PM
Every time you make a transaction, you have to pay the network fee.
The network fee is the money you pay to miners (when dealing with a POW coin like BTC or ETH) or validators  (when dealing with a POS coin like TRON)

The fee depends on many factors.
In bitcoin, the transaction fee depends on transaction size (which is a function of number of inputs and outputs) and how fast you want your transaction to be confirmed.
In ethereum, the transaction fee depends on required gas and how fast you want your transaction be confirmed.

Note that the more congested the network is, the more fee you have to pay.

is transferring from trustwallet to trustwallet (internal transfer) free ?
No.
You have to pay fee for any on-chain transaction.

or any wallet that have internal (free) option?
There may be some custodial wallets (or exchanges) that don't charge you any fee when making a transaction from one account to another account.
but since you don't have full control over your fund in such wallets (or exchanges), I recommend you to not use them for holding your cryptocurrencies.

is there a difference between BTC address? some one told me that new BTC address has cheaper fee when we want to transfer BTC tho them.
You can pay lower fee if you use segwit addresses.

There are two kinds of segwit addresses.

1. Native segwit: addresses that start with bc1q
2. Nested segwit: addresses that start with 3*

Using native segwit addresses, the transaction fee can decrease up to 53%
Using nested segwit addresses, the transaction fee can decrease up to 38%

*Not all addresses that start with 3 are segwit. They may be multi-signature.

best answer and explanation ever, TX
and how an i know which wallet create segwit address and if these addresses are cheaper why all people use other addresses ?
why these addresses are cheaper ?
any reference to find some tips like this? (that these addreses are cheaper ... )

is transferring from trustwallet to trustwallet (internal transfer) free ?

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: is bitcoin fee different for single and multi transactions ? on: January 11, 2022, 12:09:52 PM
there isnt any specific problem like extra fee, ... when i want to transfer my money (after 6-12 month) to ?
I think my topic on consolidating small inputs will help you.

Short version: as long as 1 sat/vbyte is enough, I wouldn't mind withdrawing 0.001BTC to my wallet. If you use an address starting with bc1q, you can consolidate a few inputs at a time for less than 100 sat (0.000001BTC) fee per input. That's only about 0.1% of the total amount, which I consider acceptable. If you use an address starting with 1, fees almost double.
If transaction fees get really high again (say 100 sat/vbyte), I'd wait and withdraw larger amounts at a time.

I had no information about bitcoin addressing. The information you provided about addressing was interesting.
addressing is base on wallet ? like some systems provide address start with 1 and some other ... .
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: is bitcoin fee different for single and multi transactions ? on: January 11, 2022, 10:03:12 AM
so if i mine 0.01BTC each 3month, its good idea to set Withdraw to 0.001 instead of 0.01 ??
there isnt any specific problem like extra fee, ... when i want to transfer my money (after 6-12 month) to ? ha?

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: is bitcoin fee different for single and multi transactions ? on: January 11, 2022, 09:21:34 AM
so if there isnt any specific diff between Withdraw, all people will chose lower one to To have money in their wallet, its safer than keep mined amount in the pool balance. am i right???
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Most profitable coins for Antminer ?? BCH ??? on: January 11, 2022, 09:11:58 AM
Hello
Regardless of the cost of electricity , which coin is more profitable to mine?
lots of people call Bitcoin Cache "shet coin cach" because maybe its not profitable to *MINE*.
but when i check table of which coin is more probable to mine, it say BCH !

Profit Profit 24h of BCH: 0.94$
Profit Profit 24h of BTC: 0.82$

but my idea is BTC is better, any idea?
mining and investing for long time is what im looking for and im not trader.
i have an old s11 miner and decided to relaunch it because the device is working fine.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / is bitcoin fee different for single and multi transactions ? on: January 11, 2022, 08:37:44 AM
hello
i read somewhere Set the settlement to a higher amount to pay a lower fee when transferring BTC. This means that instead of setting 0.001 for Withdraw in the pool settings, it is better to set it at 0.01 so that you can pay a lower fee when you transfer this money to another wallet. Is this true? Does each transaction have its own dedicated space on the network or is the volume of each wallet stored in one block? Or each wallet is a collection of several blocks (which contain transaction amount) ??

if i set 0.001 , pool will Withdraw each week to me, if i set it to 0.01 it will Withdraw after a month
also im consider about fee, for example i have several wallet that i cant transfer my money from them because transfer fee is bigger than amount !!!!

any help ?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you watch NFT/Coin and shetcoin Daily ? on: November 03, 2021, 06:36:59 AM
It's better to be a full trader because you need to monitor things that's why pro traders use big curve monitors and sit watching charts every minutes, I'm not a full time trader but I do trade in my own way just by buying low and selling high, always buy when the coin drops lot of value and place a sell trade sooner or later it will be successful, you need patience that's all
tx from your answer. can i ask you how you manage your trade?like using a pen and paper , an excel file , mobile app?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How you watch NFT/Coin and shetcoin Daily ? on: November 03, 2021, 05:34:09 AM

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you invest ? when you lose ? on: September 26, 2021, 11:18:12 AM
Why people get upset when, for example, bitcoin goes from 42 to 41? they know it will increase to 50, so There is nothing to lose. Their money is safe. I do not know the meaning of loss in this situation

These are usually traders that were looking to take advantage of the volatility of the market in the short term to profit but begin to panic when the market is not going as they speculated. Holders do not panic in this situation instead they buy more Bitcoin knowing what is happening is just some corrections that will be over soon.

With Bitcoin you only lose when you sell but if you hold, it is just a matter of time before the market recovers and gives you profits. The cycle are usually every four to five years based on the halving of block reward and when the market starts to check the fomo.

Although I do not know the feelings of those who earn money (trading) without real working just siting on their chair (It is not fair ) , but I completely agree with you

and a general question:

You cannot blame some investors they are not comfortable seeing their investments going down and losing their value, many of them invested with their savings and some even take a loan to invest and they do not want a long wait, they are not patient in waiting for the market to get better, there are investors who cut their losses even if the coin they invested have potential in the market.
their investing is in crypto, not GOLD and OIL, it drop down a little but growing up more and more so you will never losing any profit in crypto .
You may have less profit but you will not lose.
in crypto we are investing on NOTHING. all crypto story is fuzzy. But some people talking like a thief stole all their money from home. However, by waiting and holding, the value of their crypto will increase, it will lose 1000 value but soddenly increase 5000 . all the story is about this.

Usually when bitcoin goes down, it is controlled by the media that carries bad news about it. So we will be upset after seeing bitcoin only go up for a while and then go down again. That's so annoying
maybe because your job is trading. if a BTC get down, feels you are not present on work and lose your daily salary.
i have work 8 hours per day in company after that trade for fun and increase my money, maybe this is why i cant understand it
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs and how it works on: September 26, 2021, 06:57:36 AM
ok. update me in this: you pay for copyright of an art like paint, blockchain store that you are the owner, how you pay, who you pay  to and ... (It has no special advantages ).
how you are the owner without real content? if you buy NFT, how seller send you the original version? NFT is something like fuzzy ? no real thing but you are the owner?
What is the advantage of the traditional system that you buy the document and receive the goods
