My friend so that you can get free coins, you need to confirm your account through the kyc verification system and that this system depends on sending some personal documents such as a birth certificate or passport can you buy crypto on Coinbase without confirming your account through the kyc verification system?

i've traded, and i believe my account to be verified. only a few days for the payment, but did you have to wait a long time to be able to 'do the work' to earn the tokens? i've got "Joined Waitlist" against the four tokens.

earning with dollars? $152 worth of crypto is worth having.. i guess, if i'm ever given the chance, i'll give each coin some thought, and determine whether i see there is a case for holding. if not, i'll just transfer into xbt. it's not a lot of money, but it's a useful slice to bag foc.

fwiw i have Bitcoin alongside Amazon, Alphabet, Physical Gold, Newmont and a very conservatively run mutual Equities/Bonds/Property fund which i am involved with.

thank you all for replies. i am in England. You need to verify your Coinbase account to earn the altcoins.. as i've bought Bitcoin using my account my account must be verified, right? it seems that all i can do is continue to wait.... i have 'Joined Waitlist' re Orchid, Tezos, EOS and Stellar Lumens. i'm all for some freebies, but the truth is i want to swap them for a little bit more bitcoin.

i primarily use a different exchange, but i have a Coinbase account, and i've bought a little bit of bitcoin through them. i have been waiting for several weeks to be invited to bag some free Altcoins.. is there something i need to do to trigger the site to enable me to click through to get them?

thank you both.. i do have an iPhone.. yes, got it. had to fiddle a bit, but got it sorted. i've tried a range of apps and not been able to do that as i wanted it.. largely as most are either Equites or Crypto.. CoinGecko, CryptoWatch, Blockfolio, TradingView, Crypto, YahooFinance, Porfolio, TradingCompare, BullsEye, CityIndex, Paper.Trade, StockWall and Alt5Pro are all interesting apps that i've checked out, but Stocks does what i want.. i would 'Like' if i could, but i haven't earned the right to 'Merit' yet sorry..

i've been buying with pounds, and have nipped in to buy in recent weeks with an average buy price below £7000.. which looks relatively good now. but i want more.. and the truth is no one knows whether i should wait until there's a further opportunity to buy below £7000, or whether i ought to buy right now as it's about to make the (what i believe is) inevitable move updwards. we all want the best 'value' possible, but we won't know until later.

i have tried several apps to see if i can find one that provides me the info i want to be able to see on my phone.. ideally i would be able to see Bitcoin in £ Amazon in $ Alphabet in $ so an app that takes in crypto And equities, but ideally that allows customisation too.. anyone any ideas?

JPMorgan died over a century ago in Rome, this refers to the bank of his name.. but i agree with your point.

Scroll a very bit down after the page loads and you'd find out how that went after the first year. Spoiler: it ended up as a 70% loss i don't get knocking someone for trying something and making a loss.. fwiw i'm a "1. Bitcoin" guy myself. i had a bit of XRP and some ETH.. the lockdown has provided more time than usual to read, listen & think, and i've come to the conclusion that, alongside some other, non-crypto, investments, Bitcoin is the one for me to hold. i'd be open to a gamble on something else, in theory, but as a serious holding, 1. Bitcoin.

Again, this is why bookmarks are important. Making an error in typing it then just using the google finds everyday could be a large risk when someone mimics the website. Same goes to where we get our information. Bookmark those legitimate ones to avoid mistakes. good advice .

i haven't heard of anyone requesting a bitcoin bank.. one of the keys to the concept is that there is no bank required.
|
|
|
i don't think we have any reason to believe that it's untrue. but the important thing is that it doesn't matter.. it provides the potential upside the day he comes out and says he's taken time to understand it, and has now bought a lot more bitcoin .

as above, bitcoin hasn't Joined anything.. but mainstream institutions building connections with bitcoin can be good for the future of bitcoin.

i see an increase over time. a respected commentator predicted recently that it'll reach $100,000 by end 2021. that would be wonderful.

sorry, to correct myself.. GUSD not USDC. thank you for your reply bitmover. so, if i were to transfer out and pay 0.0004 BTC, at £8000/BTC, that's only £3.20. i could live with that. the chellenge is that i don't want to pay $25 for uploading pounds>dollars.

I’m new to the forum, and fairly new to owning some bitcoin. I’ve been using a US-based exchange that accepts and allows you to hold pounds, and have deposited pounds and then used them to buy bitcoin. I have also set up an account with a second US-based exchange, and they don’t allow you to hold pounds.. deposited pounds are automatically converted to USDC. having paid a fee to send pounds, converting to dollars, to my clearing bank in the UK, i was surprised that the USDC available on the exchange is $25 less than I expected. is this standard? If i want to have access to bitcoin on the second exchange should I send from one to exchange to the other? and should i be able to move bitcoin from one exchange to another free of charge?

Sad to say that it won't happen again. what won’t? the price hitting $10,000? I bet you a bitcoin it does🤓.

i'm new to the forum, but if you don't need the money soon then don't regret, just hold.. the key is to play the long game and yes, as others have suggested, you should take security of your asset seriously.
